We came back for a third time to give this place another try, and it did not disappoint. I was able to make a reservation easily over the phone, and the attendant was very friendly. We brought our friends here to celebrate their anniversary, and our waitress was attentive, kind, and made the experience even better. The food was great as always, and everything from our drinks to our order came out correctly. This time we were seated inside, and the restaurant was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly not too crowded for a Friday evening. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience, and we'll definitely be back. Thanks to Ashley as well for making this possible the 3rd time around.

East Coast and Gulf Coast Oysters

Service was pleasant. Atmosphere was upscale and elegant, yet still approachable. Food was okay-- We tried the East & Gulf Coast oysters (which were far too oyster-esque for me!) and the fancy "frites" that I cannot remember the name of. Overall I can't say that I was too impressed. Not sure if I will return.

Absolutely delightful place, right in the heart of the City Centre, it us the perfect spot for grabbing a bite if out and about. Parkingis availableat nearby garages, and if you want to do a little shopping afterwardsyou can.. I came with a group of friends for brunch and decided to dine out side on their patio terrace. Wuth four of us and various wants, we opted for the breakfast charcuterie board and it had all we needed! For $90 feeding 4 people, it was perfect! Filled with meats (bacon, sausages, chicken), eggs, waffles, biscuits and cinnamon roll, fruit, and potatoes - it was hearty and delicious! For cocktails, I selected frozen guava margarita. Shout out to our Server, Jose, who made our time there exciting, fun and worth a return visit. He also saw to it that my friend who was unable to get his coffee beverage (due to the restaurant running out of an ingredient needed to make the special drink) was taken care of. Beautiful spot indeed, food is amazing! A great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Check it out! And, enjoy!

This place has been on my list, and when a friend wanted to try it, I was ready to jump on the chance. We came for brunch on a Sunday. We had a resy but place wasn't too crazy, we didn't really need it and were seated without it.. Parking- the large covered garage is a short distance away. Or you can see if you can get lucky and find the few street parking spots in front of some of the businesses. Service- was sweet with Madison. She gave service with a smile despite being busy. She gave us insight about the menu. We enjoyed sitting outside on the covered patio with a cool breeze. I belive a manager was circling outside to assist and check on guests which was good to see. She stopped by our table but didn't introduce herself. Food- I ordered the BLT with avocado and for my side I subbed for a cesar gem salad with anchovy for a $2 upcharge. It was satisfying for price $20. We plan to return to get there brunch board (there take on charcuteri board), which feeds 4 to 6 people for $85 bucks which really is a steal, plus it looks really tasty. But we didn't have enough people for that since it was only 2 of us, and it would have been too much.

Stylish, tasty, and seed oils free! Service and atmosphere: The service was good. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant is located in the heart of Town and Country area which is very nice. They offer many seating options both inside and outside. Food and drinks: Very good selection in both areas. What attracted me to this restaurant is the fact that they stopped using seed oils. This is amazing! The food choices were great. We started with fried calamari. It was tender and well prepared. Our mains (burger and grains bowl) were well seasoned and full of flavours. The bar selection is very good. You can order various cocktails and European wines which was great too! Pricing: $$/$ - you will get your moneys worth.

Absolutely delicious! We tried the weekday 2course lunch deal and added a mimosa -- such a great value for the quality and portion sizes. The arancini were perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, topped with a rich sauce that made each bite indulgent without being too heavy. I ordered the crunchy noodle salad with pulled chicken, and it was so fresh and flavorful. The mix of chilled noodles, crisp veggies, tender chicken, and that ginger-sesame dressing had the perfect balance of savory and bright. The ambiance was beautiful (especially sitting outside in the sunshine), and service was friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back! this is a new go-to lunch spot!

We chose this place partly because of the name but also because it offered an outdoor patio, was located where we would have plenty of parking, and they had brunch. The patio seating was wonderful! Food was great, service was just as good and the ambiance was perfect for conversation. Local 5k just ended when we arrived so the courtyard area was busy with runners and vendors but it was nice to see the activity on a Saturday morning.

The beef tartare and tots were really good. The entrees are on the small side. The kid's pasta is probably good for a 6 year old, but definitely not enough for an older kid. The meatball is spicy, so it's not a good option for kids. Save the $5. Overall, good vibes, especially with the patio seating on a good weather day, but pricey if just considering the food.

I'm updating my review because I was contacted by the manager after my last review (which I appreciated) and decided to give them another try. I was not disappointed. To start, it was a beautiful Saturday so we sat outside. The waiter was prompt and very friendly. The food came out pretty quickly and we enjoyed everything. The only thing I wasn't 100% satisfied with was the pastries tray because I personally don't think it's worth $19 but the burger, grilles chicken sandwich, kids french toasts & Turkey Club were all great. We will definitely be back

And we gathered. Went for brunch on a Saturday at 10 am. They had just opened and there were a few tables already seated and people at the bar. 4 stars - service and overall aesthetic of the restaurant 3.3 stars - food quality and taste We were a table of 3 and ordered a few items to share. Deviled eggs (3/5) - the filling was tasty but the egg white was hard and slightly rubbery (overcooked) Citrus avocado (3/5) - it was ok, the burrata was fresh and the combination of ingredients was different (the avocado was not fully ripe) Garden omelette (4/5) - the omelette was delicious, well made and not overstuffed; the side of potatoes were a bit tough and just didn't fit in with the look of the omelette Biscuits and gravy (2.9/ 5) - the biscuits were very dense and somewhat tough to enjoy; they looked like they'd be flaky but were not; came with those same potatoes I am not against trying them again, I think it just wasn't our day. There were a few other things that we want to try. Our server was Madison and she was amazing. Friendly, helpful and made the experience even better. They picked up in business and she never stopped smiling and always checked on us. Great customer service. There is a parking garage close by and some street parking in front of shops but hard to find. There are boutiques and other restaurants in the general area.

Sunday brunch. Weather was questionable so they helped secure seats at the bar. Loved the glass of questions. That helps keep the vibe up and people engaged. Food was delicious. Would choose sticking with the rice instead of potatoes for the steak & eggs. It was more smashed potato than home potatoes to us. The verde sauce took the ranch eggs over the top. So good. I've had some underwhelming broiled oysters recently but these were sooooo good. Perfection. Can't wait to return next time I'm in town.

First time at this restaurant! Great looking place and I was able to enjoy their breakfast menu. I love breakfast and this place did have some great selections. The area is great and it was not too busy, on a Sunday morning! The service was excellent and the food was great! Next time you're in this area it's a great spot to try !

    Tamieka B.

Stopped in for Sunday brunch and had to wait a little because the party before us was enjoying themselves too much. They gave us complimentary mimosas while we waited, so it was water under the bridge. This place is clean & spacious. The great part was we ordered one thing for the entire party to nibble on "Ultimate Brunch Board " feeds 4-6 ppl. We also tried the smoked Gouda Mac. The food was good, I wasn't really a fan of the cinnamon roll loaf. I love cinnamon. So if it doesn't karate chop me on the tongue, it's not enough. I like that we came after the brunch rush, so we were able to linger longer than usual.

We went on a Saturday for lunch. Hopefully this was just a one-off, but if you're looking for good Cajun boiled crawfish, this is not it. We started off with 6 lbs (group of 4) of their regular crawfish. First off, they put the Cajun seasoning on outside/shell (!!), which is a cardinal sin for Cajuns. They also minimally seasoned the boil, so the meat was lacking salt and flavor. We ordered 3 more lbs with the "wet sauce" (garlic butter), thinking the lack of flavor may be attributed to this being the first-ish batch of the day. Nope, the second batch was even less seasoned than the first. The sauce was good, but it didn't make up for the unseasoned meat. The crawfish were a good size, at least... We were sat relatively quick, I would put reservation for this place if I were you, but when we came it wasn't too busy. We were sat and was greeted by our server, Fabian. The vibe was very nice, had the R&B jams in the background but wasn't overly loud to where you can't converse. It was a beautiful sunny day outside and it reflected all throughout the large windows of the restaurant. A+ for the ambiance. We started off with mimosa carafes for the table, great blend of juice and champagne. No complaints at all about the mimosas. He started us with a round of biscuits, with butter & jelly on the side. Would give it overall rating of 8.5/10, I actually liked them they weren't too sweetened like other biscuits. For food, I ordered the Buttermilk Waffles, turkey links, and side of Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. The food was good, above average in my opinion. The buttermilk waffles weren't overly crisp but still had nice warm flavor (8.7/10), turkey links were satisfactory (8.1/10), and the mac & cheese was above average as well, not out of this world but pretty good nonetheless (8.0/10). In my opinion, I give this restaurant a 5-stars, not just because of the food (4 stars), but just the overall experience. The ambiance was great, our server was hilarious, kept us entertained the entire time, and they were convenient nonetheless. They do 20% auto-gratuity as well. Was a calmer brunch with a good vibe, something that is very underrated in a city like Houston. Maybe seasoning them a little more, cutting them in halves, and charring them would've done the job. Peach cobbler was so yummy. I loveeeee how they have offer for preferences with the peach cobbler (more crust, more filling, or neutral) because I personally love more crust. Kool aid was good but could stand to be just a tad bit less sweet with more flavor. All in all if you have a catfish craving and want good vibes and service I'd 1000% endorse this spot.

I can't believe it. It's been 10 years since I reviewed Grace's. I've probably been here 35 or 40…read moretimes since then. I bring family and friends here all the time along with business partners. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston, Texas. You will experience the best food and the best service here every single time! Today was the first time I decided to get some food to go. Bradley was an absolute professional. While I was leaving, Johnny Carrabba came out and talked to me for a second. What a nice guy. Full of natural charisma. Reminds me of an old wise guy from casino or Goodfellas. We had a great conversation. I told him how my grandmother was born in Bryan Texas in 1927. He told me about his family that migrated there in 1905. He also mentioned his family had a store on Canal Street. I had no idea. An exceptional person, a legend in the restaurant industry here in Houston, Texas. It was great to meet you today Johnny. Thank you for your professionalism and hospitality and also thank you for serving some of the best food in Houston, Texas! Food: as you can see from all my pictures of the food is simply amazing. The best cornbread in the world. The best pot roast. The best sticky ribs. The best desserts. Everything here is phenomenal. Lunch dinner brunch you cannot go wrong. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Bradley and Johnny today I've been coming to this location for years and I will continue to come and support this restaurant.

I finally made it to Grace's on Kirby and left with mixed feelings. The dining area is a little…read morecompact (not super small though) but it's not a quiet, romantic spot. The main highlight was the 5 star service by Eric! He's enough to make me want to go back! I'll definitely ask for him every time! 2nd highlight is that cornbread because whew...bussin. Pair it with the collard greens and that's a five-star combo all day. I was undecided on what to order, so I went with the cajun stuffed chicken exactly as it comes, along with mac & cheese and collard greens. The meal wasn't bad, but it wasn't that good either. The chicken, I'd probably skip next time, I took most to go and it went bad cause I couldn't do it. Mac wasn't anything to write home about either but again, them greens and cornbread are absolutely getting reordered. My friend ordered the key lime pie and enjoyed it, so that seemed to be another solid choice. But back to the real MVP of the visit which was our server, Eric. He made menu suggestions without being pushy, kept my glass full the entire meal, was kind, patient, and anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. That level of service is becoming harder to find, and it definitely elevated the experience. Overall, the food landed somewhere in the middle for me, but Eric's service easily pushed this visit to four stars. I'll definitely be back...mainly for that cornbread lol.

Feels good when an establishment takes pride in their customer's feedback and puts a plan into action. Honestly, part of me was hoping that last time was just a fluke or an off day. This time around, everything from the service to the food was great. We had a 12:30 Sunday reservation for two and opted to sit inside this time. We ordered the cast-iron cornbread, chargrilled oysters, and a cup of gumbo each to start. For entrées, I had the Gulf Fish, while my husband went with the crawfish Florentine. Everything came out beautifully timed, almost like a perfectly paced three-course meal, which obviously made the whole experience feel elevated and relaxed. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. I also tried the prickly pear aid (non-alcoholic), and it was super refreshing, definitely worth ordering if you like a little tartness to cleanse your palate. Overall, this visit felt like a completely different experience than last time. It delivered the elevated experience a place like Eunice promises and what I was used to originally. Looking forward to celebrating my birthday here in June!

Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to both the service and the food quality. Our server was very slow throughout the evening. After ordering cocktails, it took approximately 20 minutes for them to arrive. We then ordered our meals... I had the burger and fries, while my girlfriend ordered the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were noticeably over salted. After finishing our meals, we waited an additional 15-20 minutes just to receive a dessert menu. Eventually, we decided not to wait any longer and went to Dessert Gallery down the street instead. While the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant were excellent, the slow service and food issues negatively impacted the experience. Based on this visit, I would likely not return.
