It's not every day I find a two course weekday 11 AM to 4 PM lunch menu that has perfectly sized portions and tastes delicious for $25. That's exactly what I found when I met fellow Yelper Brian T. for lunch for my first time at Daily Gather. Parking was easy at valet in front of Seasons 52 and was just a short walk to the restaurant. Low humidity and perfect weather, so we chose to sit outside. Jennifer, our server was efficient, nonintrusive and helpful. I went with a mocktail, and of course, the power lunch with the Caesar salad with white anchovy and grilled salmon. Jennifer's recommendation to add crab meat for $8 was awesome. The microgreens atop the crab meat, atop the perfectly grilled salmon were amazing. I substituted the jasmine rice pilaf for the crushed potatoes and it was delicious. The outdoor patio felt upscale yet comfortable. The cornbread was a work of art with the topping! CARLOS was the wonderful bartender we had this past weekend. So we initially started with the lavender drink and dg bourbon sour, thought both were great! But we wanted to try something different but somewhat similar to our first drinks. So I asked what he could suggest or do different, and for me he did basically a lavender lemon drop. It was so good i got it again. My fiancé loves amaretto (which was in the bourbon sour) and asked Carlos if he could something with that and he basically made an expresso martini with it and wow that was delicious too! (I THINK he switched out the vodka to rum in the expresso martini? I could be wrong though) he also ended up ordering another one. We sat at the bar for our entire visit and enjoyed the ambiance. Initially we were planning on going to other restaurant bars in city center but never left Daily Gather since we liked it there so much. So shout out to Carlos for the great drinks! I decided to venture out to here for my birthday brunch and it did not disappoint. I made a reservation ahead on Resy because I wasn't sure if it was going to be packed for a Sunday brunch. In retrospect, there were plenty of tables available that a reservation wasn't needed but they were able to reserve me a semi private booth/table in the back that comfortably sat my party of 7. I also love the personalized touches they added for my birthday such as a "happy birthday" centerpiece and cards with ice breaker questions for the group to get to know one another. Since there was a big group of us, we decided to split the ultimate brunch board. It's a spin on your charcuterie board but with brunch items. There was a wide range of foods from sweet to savory. There were 5 of us the split the board and we all left full. My favorites from the board were the deviled eggs, chicken, and french toast. The brunch board is what brought us in for Sunday brunch. I love everything that was included for the price. It had all of the breakfast staples and my favorites were the fluffy biscuits and eggs, crispy bacon and potatoes and French toast. The deviled eggs were my least favorite as they tasted like they were made with Dijon mustard and I also wasn't a fan of the side of grits we ordered. Could've done with out the watery flavorless grits. The cinnamon roll was the least favorite over all by everyone I'm not sure what ingredient is involved that but it leaves you with a strange after taste. We ordered 2 mimosa carafes still confused on which one we actually got. We tried to order the 2 bottle special boozy but our waitress said the option was no longer available and the menus needed to be updated. That was disappointing. Service was mid seemed as if they were short staffed we saw the managers more than our waitress. It was my first time visiting. My brother and sister-in-law invited me to have brunch. It is located in City Centre which means parking is limited on the storefront but there are parking garages so make time to walk over to the restaurant. I primarily ate the smoked salmon and poached eggs. I didn't enjoy the brioche toast or potatoes as much as I anticipated. I ordered kids pancakes for my 5 year old daughter but she didn't eat much which is unusual and I gave it a try myself and they were pretty dry. My family got the garden omelette & ranch style eggs with a banana nut muffin which I was able to sample as well. The garden omelette was very delicious and ranch style eggs were good. The banana nut muffin was stuck to the muffin wrap so we could only enjoy the top half portion. They also ordered Daily green drink & Seedlip Guava margarita mocktail drink. My brother mentioned the daily green was pretty strong in flavor so he opted for the guava mocktail. The Cinnamon roll was the best I ever had. I am not a big fan of these usually but I was going back for 2nd serving. It was overly sweet to me. Overall, I wasn't blown away by the meal we had but my family did enjoy theirs. I got the pride day drink (Bottom's Up) which was basically a raspberry lemon drop with glitter- it was sooo good, very easy to drink and came with a flag decoration that was a nice touch! There is also parking on the street at the meters. Really cute place with a fully stocked bar and restaurant and plenty of seating outside facing the beautiful green courtyard. It was a nice day but windy. We requested outside seating. Patricia and Sofia (trainee) served us. The ladies were friendly and waited on us with enthusiasm. We had a flight of mimosas and shared a breakfast board with an additional side of deviled eggs. The deviled eggs were very good and we ate them all. On the board we had eggs, bacon, sausage, chicken strips , French toast, biscuits and potatoes. The ladies got coffee. It was plenty to share with 5 people. There were also chocolate donuts, they were good but a little dry. The birthday girl got a cinnamon roll with a candle and the icing was good, otherwise the cinnamon roll would have been too dry. Two courses for the price of $25 with add ons you can add to your burger etc. I've came here on the weekends before and it does get BUSY. Make sure to have a reservation if you plan on coming on the weekends - however during the day it's not as busy so no need for reservations during week days. Now the food is delicious!! Their Mac and cheese is spectacular I added the crab & truffle and it was perfect. There burgers come with two patties and it's so delicious! Their Mocktails are also delicious as well. I visited a few weeks ago to take advantage of the Restaurant Weeks menu and had a great time! The interior of the restaurant was so picture perfect, I loved the design and atmosphere. Our waitress was super friendly but a little forgetful, we had to awkwardly wave her over when she kept trying to give another table our drinks. Other than that small moment, service was great! Our group loved everything we got, but I have to give a special shoutout to the arancini appetizer. Oh. My. Gosh. They were SO delicious I could've just eaten multiple orders for my meal. The Parmesan cream sauce complements the arancini so wonderfully, I was tempted to lick the bowl. My butcher burger was fine, nothing to write home about. This was a perfect appetizer. My bowl of butternut squash bisque was light and wasn't very creamy. I enjoyed it.
