I had a good experience at Mia's table. Good place. Not mind blowing - but pretty good food. I'd recommend. The chicken fried chicken was good. It was nice and tender. I almost wish the batter was a bit more crispy. Also - it could've used a bit more flavor. Maybe more flavorful gravy? But it was cooked well and was pretty yummy. As for the sides - I was letdown by the French fries... they were dry and also a little bland. The Texas toast was good though & the green beans were nice and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was decent too. I was impressed with the service here. No line to order & even with a packed restaurant our food came out super quick. Which was awesome because we were starving!! The ambiance gave classic cafeteria vibes. Lots of seating and some nice decorations. They have both indoor and outdoor seats. This is an "order at the counter" place (which surprised me at first). We were going to be a group of 9 so while my bf stood in line I went and put tables together to save, even at around 1i was able to find a table for 9 plus a table for 4 next to it so I just slid them together, a worker there was nice enough to jump in and help me. I ordered the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy with green beans and mashed potato yum. There's a perfect ratio of meat to rhe breading. And the breading was busy slightly crisp, it's perfect! Green beans are seasoned perfectly and the mashed potatoes were great with brown gravy. They serve free ice cream but if you're hankering for an milk shake, I love their strawberry milkshake!!! All of their sides are top-notch as well. Make sure you grab a malt - they're the best! Food is always fast, and there's a decent-sized parking lot which is something I always appreciate. Mia's falls short of 5 stars because some items are not as good as others. I can't help but try different dishes at restaurants, especially when there are so many options! But I think Mia's has lost its focus by having a bloated menu. I have not been a big fan of their fried seafood options as they don't have much flavor at all. I hate to even write this because the food was actually good--but unfortunately, our experience leaving completely ruined everything for us, and we will never be back. Parking was extremely limited. The lot was full, and the garage across the street was just as crowded. The only available spaces were the "To Go" spots, and there were several open, so we parked there. As we were leaving, a security guard approached us in a very rude and aggressive manner and told us that if we ever parked there again, he would have us towed. His tone was completely unnecessary and honestly very upsetting. There's a way to communicate rules to customers, and that was not it. We were already leaving, and instead of a simple, respectful reminder, we were met with hostility. No matter how good the food is, customer experience matters, and this was unacceptable. We came here for a nice lunch, but unfortunately the management wasn't very welcoming since we had a large party. We were initially seated in a pretty awkward spot, though they did end up moving us to a much better area. That being said, the food is absolutely amazing! Amazing. My relative put me on to Mia's I've been to this location twice but also visited the Woodlands/Spring location. The only difference in taste is the strawberry lemonade I can tell the one in the woodlands location is different and better but other than that I get the same thing every time I go. Chicken fried chicken, potatoes or mac and cheese and green beans. Wish the gravy was over the mashed potatoes as well but overall great price and great food. The bun is super soft. It came the fries that had potato skin still on suggesting they were fresh cut to me. They were bland and mushy on the inside. The price is good only about $16 before tip. When you walk in there is a huge menu and there are 3 cashier stands to order at. Once you order you get a buzzer that will randomly vibrate (guy said the system is looking for you) and they will bring your food. There is a stand for ice and drinks. The food gets 3 stars while the service gets 4 stars. Our table ordered a variety of items - chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, burgers, chicken tenders, salad, fried pickles for appetizers and I ordered the fried chicken meal ($17.49) Fried chicken (4/5) - 1/2 chicken so 4 pieces mixed, note: it takes roughly 20 min bc they fry in order so it comes out super hot and crispy - chicken was nice and juicy while the skin was very crispy Mac and cheese side (3/5) - was a bit bland and not enough cheese if that makes sense Creamy corn (3/5) - corn was not all cooked through - expected it to be softer and creamier The service was pretty stellar. It has kind of a diner-type vibe and is a great environment for families with small children. They have coloring pages and crayons for the youngest in your party. This place was way solid I wanted fish tacos that were not at a Mexican restaurant. My mom and I both got them and they were exactly what I wanted. Fresh simple ingredients. Decent experience. I had meatloaf with the jalapeño cream gravy, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. I would give it a six out of 10 it was moist dance decent flavor mashed potatoes were whipped almost to a cream little too creamy from my taste, macaroni and cheese. Meal was average but overall, I was satisfied based on my expectations. The little one had the chicken crispy tacos that came with a side of queso she loved it the, lady had the fried fish which she wasn't satisfied with and sent back. The batter was bland and the fish texture just didn't seem like catfish to her, it was replaced it easily no hassle with the salmon which she was extremely pleased with. So the service was good. It's a family restaurant so expect it to bed quite loud and lots of movement kids playing but that ok. I probably won't go again it's just not for me. read more

I got dinner here tonight with my nephew and although it wasn't a 5 star experience, I will give credit when it's due. I do appreciate cleanliness and how fast the service is but I feel like if you are charging your customers more than $18 on a dinner entree in a fast food/diner-esque restaurant, the food should be higher in quality. My nephew got the cheeseburger with French fries and he said that it was a 8/10. Pretty generous for a picky 12 year old. As for me, I got the chicken fried steak. I was extremely excited for my entree because that's one of my fave southern classic meal and the fact that it was plated pretty nicely did get my hopes up. Unfortunately, my sweet potato fries were raw when bitten into them and the Mac and cheese was disgusting. I don't know what it was - maybe the fact that it came out room temp (Health code violation), the overdone pasta or the fact it just did not taste what it was advertised to be. Other than that, I will say that the chicken fried steak was spectacular and the jalapeño gravy that came with it was so yummy. I'm a sucker for malt milk shakes, so I did order a malt peanut butter shake but my shake did not come with any malt. I was very disappointed by that. Currently, this place is a PASS. Absolutely loved my first time at Mia's Table. The restaurant has a cozy and casual ambiance. It's counter service--you order at the counter and then they bring the food out to the table. Service is quick and friendly. I also really enjoyed sitting outdoors--the weather was beautiful and when it got darker, they turned on fairy lights that wove around the trees and the patio. I ordered the Fried Chicken Strips Country Plate, with sides of Sweet Potato Fries and Mac & Cheese. I also tried some of my partner's sides, the Green Beans and Creamed Corn. Everything was delicious! The chicken was juicy and soft on the inside, with a nice crumble on the outside. It paired well with the jalapeño gravy. The sides were all amazing. I especially loved the Sweet Potato Fries. And of course, you can't forget the free ice cream! They have a soft serve station with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream and it is so so delicious!
