If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Houston, Credence absolutely delivers--across the board. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. The service? A flawless 10/10. Attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making the night special without ever feeling overbearing. The ambiance carried the perfect balance of upscale and inviting--exactly what you want for a celebration. Now let's talk about the food... because wow. Every dish felt intentional and perfectly executed. The deviled crabs? Chef's kiss--rich, flavorful, and gone way too fast. The half chicken was roasted to perfection--juicy, tender, and beautifully seasoned. And the red snapper? Fresh, light, and absolutely delicious. One of the standout moments of the night was the Marguerite Bar Cart--such an elegant and memorable touch that elevated the entire experience. It added a layer of charm and personalization you don't come across often. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and the team went above and beyond by surprising him with a signed birthday card. It was such a thoughtful, genuine gesture that made the night feel even more special. 10/10 service. 10/10 experience. 10/10 food. Truly a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful evening. Credence has set the bar--and then raised it.

One word I would use to describe this restaurant is intentional. From the décor to the food selection, every detail felt thoughtfully curated. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, which enhanced the overall experience. The food was exquisite, made with high-quality ingredients. The flatiron steak was amazing, and the mashed potatoes were just as impressive. The Caesar salad was solid, though the red onions personally threw it off for me a bit. The wine was surprisingly good, even as someone who isn't typically a fan of red. The ambiance was perfectly suited for the birthday dinner I attended, and the portions were generous. Prices reflect the experience you're receiving. The bread is a menu item rather than complimentary, nothing too exciting on its own, but it paired really well with their butter. Overall, I can certainly see why they have earned a Michelin star.

Really enjoyed my time here. We came for my friend's Bachelorette dinner. We got soaked coming in from the garage and the guy gave me a napkin to dry off. My cocktail was good and I like that they let you pick the Spirit for the expresso martini. My pregnant friend said the mocktail she got was one of the best she's had. The monkey bread and deviled crabs are must try apps. I was disappointed because the entree i saw on the online menu and planned on getting was not on the menu when I got there. But the fish we ended up with was good. They also didn't do anything to acknowledge our celebration which I listed on 2 spots on the reservation so that was a little let down. Would definitely return.

Stoped in for a birthday dinner. The service was stellar. it's such a cute place. They have valet and self parking. Appetizer went really well with the deviled crab and the monkey bread. The fish was as good however my steak came out under. I actually was going to take it and just cook more later but one of the managers was nice enough to make a new one. it's made on a grill so the sear or char you may be looking for wasn't here for me. Two out of three of my sides came out room temp but the flavor was there! The roasted carrots are good! The potatoes are also good. i would still come back to give it another go. Plus, the deviled crab is worth the trek!

Great ambience and good food in the Memorial area! They are focused on making Texas focused foods using live-fire preparations, which makes for great food. Definitely make reservations, because this place gets busy. Here's what we got: Monkey bread - 4/5 - it's buttery bread, so it's tough to not like it, but we honestly expected a bit more from it. It tasted like a basic roll. We got it with the trout roe, which I don't know if it's worth it. Tuna tartare - 5/5 - this was great! I love the crispy rice, and had a spicy kick. Heritage half chicken - 5/5 - very flavorful and juicy. Hearth roasted whole fish - 5/5 - this was delicious! Lemony, garlicky, dill-forward - all my favorite flavors! Wood roasted carrots - 3/5 - these were okay. They were more mushy than I wanted them to be. Overall a great experience and we'll likely be back if we're in the area!

But of a way out beyond the loop, but very happening even on a week night. Service- wonderful. Attentive. Managers came by to check on things which was a good sign. We literally came here this night to try the duck, as my cohorts had already been here before. Alas, they were already out for the night at 7pm. Though disappointed in the news we pivoted and found some alternatives to satisfy us. Drinks- all great all night. Apps- monkey bread with that crack butter. We also used it to sop up the tomato butter on the deviled crabs, which is also a delicious dish packed with lump crab meat. We also got the beet salad for some freshness- which was just fine. I tried the flatiron and we were all impressed with how tender this meat was! The snapper is also very well done, and I might have even enjoyed the blistered beans/snap peas more (they have the Smokey wood fired taste). Pork chop schnitzel another solid dish but not something I could devour alone. The crab fried rice came recommended to us- very garlic forward but also great. Since we didn't get to try the duck they were kind enough to treat us to dessert- so of course we had to try the soufflé. Super light and gone in seconds. Worth stopping by and I was keen to try after the Michelin recs especially. There is free parking in the garage at the back.

Excellent service by our waiter/host. Attentive, respectful and eager to make anything right if it was not to our liking. The drinks were boozy, and nice. I really enjoyed the deviled crabs, and raw oysters selection. The fried pork chop was delicious and did not come with the basic "apple sauce" as done at other places. The fish was flaky, and juicy. The vegetables could have been cooked less to retain the crunch and colour because the snap peas looked like the life was wrung out off them. Our host/waiter asked very politely if I wanted a redo, but I politely declined. So I appreciated the offer and service! I was very miffed that the chocolate soufflé was not available for lunch because they only serve it for dinner. What a miss!! We will have to come back for it.

I love going out to eat with a bunch of women because sometimes y'all decide to just order half the menu so you can all try a little bit of everything! We ladies met on a Saturday for brunch. Abby was our server very knowledgeable. She helped us navigate to some of the must tries on the menu. We started with the monkey bread and devil crab boy was that decadent and a real treat. For mains, we had a seizure, salad with shrimp, roasted beef salad, the heritage chicken, country and pimento cheese, grits, and the crab fried rice. Everything shined. The heritage chicken melted in your mouth and cornbread gnocchi was as good as it sounds. I love cheese grits. I like pimento cheese. Mixing the two together unlocked a whole new craving for me! The biscuits were spectacular. Not usually a fan of beet salads, but everything in the salad complemented each other. The Caesar was unique and well done. They only miss for me was the cinnamon roll. I don't like cream cheese icing so I was excited to know this one was a sugar icing, but after taking one bite, I didn't need more. I just didn't do it for me. Other than the cinnamon roll, everything was spectacular. The service, the ambience, great! I can't wait to take my husband back for a date night and to try to the dinner menu!

Credence was such a great pick for my birthday lunch. The vibe is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly sophisticated--perfect for celebrating a special occasion. The service started off a little slow, but it picked up and didn't take away from the overall experience. And the food? Completely on point. Every dish was flavorful and well-executed. The standout for me was the deviled crabs--absolutely the best. Easily something I'd go back for again and again. Overall, a beautiful atmosphere paired with great food makes Credence definitely worth a visit.

Amazing experience with even better food! I stopped by on a whim. Thankfully I was able to get a seat at the Chef's bar. Everything here at Credence is Top Tier; from the welcome champagne to everything on their menu! The ambiance is incredible, it is a great place to take your significant other, or your group of friends. I do recommend placing a reservation as the wait time for groups larger than 1 & 2 were close to 45 minutes, stretching to an hour. If you do get a table, you will not be disappointed. I ordered the heritage chicken and it was beyond mouth watering. They have the live grill going right there in front of you so I knew it would be good.

Made it over to for an excellent brunch! Food was delicious, service was prompt and friendly. We ate so much it ended up being my only meal of the day lol Deviled crab and cornbread gnocchi were my faves Great high ceilings and inviting design inside, lots of seating options inside and out. Free parking in the green garage diagonally across from the restaurant or valet.

Celebrated my birthday here and had a memorable time. We started out with the 'monkey bread'. I loved the how garlicky and soft the bread was, also the spread that came with it was phenomenal. For entrees we got the hearth roasted tuna and pork chop schnitzel. We both agreed that our plates were delicious. For dessert I was given a complimentary slice of chocolate cake and it was honestly perfect. My boyfriend hates chocolate but he enjoyed it. The service went above and beyond to make our dinning experience pleasant. Our server was very knowledgeable on everything on the menu. He constantly checked up on us and made sure our cups of water were filled. Perfect place for date night!

This place lived up to the hype. It was perfect for a midweek dinner. My friend and I decided to try this place and we were pleasantly surprised. I suggest making reservations. They have onsite Valet to remove the hassle of parking in this busy area. The staff move with a certain level of care that adds southern charm and sophistication. Love the decor options for indoor and patio seating with an open concept kitchen. Drinks: Little Aubrey 10/10 Trust me this drink is full bodied sultry and a perfect sip. Gin lovers this is for you. Mai tai 7/10 not as sweet as you'd expect but still a well made cocktail Old fashioned (not pictured) well made Food: Deviled crab 11/10 trust me you might need 2 orders. The flavors are rich, and explosive sure to make you crave another bite Chicken 8/10 Juicy, flavorful and paired with mushrooms peppers and gnocci in a delectable sauce. This felt like the holidays Cornbread gnocci 9/10 the char on the gnocci and the smoke were exquisite. The flavors catch you by surprise and awaken your tastebuds to new ideas Coconut dessert 10/10 This is for all my coconut lovers this pie is creamy, luscious and sweet but not overwhelming. Shareable so trust you only need 1 slice. The decor, cleanliness superior service and delicious food and drinks this place created a wonderful dining experience.

Second, I discovered that they're owned by the same people behind Masraff's. That's a good start. They're located in a shopping center with several other businesses, including a cat vet right next door. While it was busy, I didn't have trouble finding a parking spot. Ambiance (4/5): This is part of where By Popular Demand (BPD) shines. The interior is trendy, with both tabletop seating and more comfortable chairs and sofas. There's a small patio in the front and a larger one on the side. There aren't a ton of seats inside, so think of it as a smaller, more intimate bar. Service (3.5/5): A little slow to start out with as it took our waitress a good while to come and take our order (we were sitting on the front patio). She did apologize for the delay, and she was friendly from there on out, so things improved throughout our evening there. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior so I was on a liquid diet. I have heard they have a pretty awesome steak night on Mondays though. Next time around! Drinks (3.5/5): While they have a full bar, BPD is a cocktail bar. They have 10-12 craft cocktails, plus everything else you would expect at a bar. I went with That Cucumber Drink. I'm always a fan of any cocktail that incorporates cucumber. It was one of the few items on the menu that stood out to me. A decent number of of the offerings are more of your standard cocktails (margaritas, ranch waters, etc.) and a good number have brown liquor (while I prefer clear liquor). Not the best menu for my taste, but that's not to say it's not a solid menu. Next time around, I'll have to stop by for steak night or to try out their food menu.

Hard to mess that up though right? I asked if they had any stouts and if so, if they could provide a sample. I'm so happy I asked for a sample and didn't just order the "one" stout they had. The beer was flat. So disappointing! Overall, the place was okay. I'd more than likely return for their drink happy hour, but it's a hard pass outside of that.

My BFF had her group dinner there and I was floored from the moment I walked in. The interior is very nice and it's a huge place. They have a large menu available on QR code and they have hookah. The only thing missing is alcohol- it's a dry policy but the juices they offer are really great. The food tho- the FOOD THO!! OMGGG- literally everything we ordered was so good. The hummus with beef and lemon pepper corn were top of my list. The fried cauliflower, potatoes were really good and my friends said the lamb was out if this world. Needless to say, I WILL be going back- the prices are insanely DECENT for the portions and how good the food is. I'm glad I know about it now cause it's going in regular rotation!

I have been trying to get a table here for months but it is almost impossible to since they do not accept reservations for parties under 6 people and they do not answer the phone. At first I thought that it was just that busy that they were so understaffed that no one was there to answer the phone. Instead, I witnessed the hosts rejecting every call when the phone rings. In the past when I tried to get a table in person, I was told that the wait was about 45 minutes to an hour which made me choose a different place. However, this time I anticipated waiting that long. An hour goes by until I received a text stating that the table was ready. I got to the hostess within 3 minutes of the text when she tells me they gave my table away because it's been 5 minutes. I proceeded to show her the timestamps on my phone that clearly show it was not 5 minutes. Not only did I have to wait another 20 minutes for them to figure out their mistake but I was finally given a table at the back of the patio next to the extra chairs. It was truly the equivalent of sitting next to the bathroom or kitchen door. We placed our order and got our food. The food was over seasoned in ways that made it inedible. The tabouleh was drenched in lemon juice, and the kebab was dry and tasted like I was eating all spice from the spice jar itself. The hummus had no flavor and the meat topping was also over seasoned. Our waitress also barely checked on us.. We then ordered hookah. The hookah was also gross. They packed the top so much that you could barely smoke it without coughing up a lung. The vibes were not vibing because there was also a birthday every 10 minutes.. At this point I've memorized the birthday song. Safe to say that I'll be exclusively be giving my money to literally anyone other than Lava Lounge. If anyone needs a recommendation on good food and better vibes.. Patio by La Pasha. Huge plates, edible food and better hookah.
