Went here for lunch on the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the food! I've been driving past this place for a while now and I'm so happy I got around to trying it. Me and a friend split the Kebab Land mix that was recommended for 1 person, but it was the perfect amount of food for two people. The shish kebab skewer was super tender and had good flavor and the beef skewer was also tasty, but just a bit tough in my opinion. The chicken was moist and had a good charred flavor. The rice and grilled tomatoes were standard though the homemade bread was a bit thin and bland. Considering the bold flavors from the other elements of the food, the bread did complement it well. (6.5/10) Overall, the food is very comparable to other restaurants that serve this kind of cuisine. I think this place is definitely filling in a gap as there are not many other places in this area that serve this kind of food. If I were craving some kebabs and didn't want to drive too far I would definitely come back here. The owner was also super kind And the service was quick. Something else to note is that they only have bottled water that they charge for but the hot tea is free. The ambiance is super casual and parking is super easy because there are a ton of spots around as it is apart of a huge plaza. read more

This was the saddest meal I've had in a very long time. It must've been a bad night or something based on other reviews, but I can't give a place that messed up so badly another chance. I was really looking forward to a shawarma option in this area, but I guess I'll have to keep driving all the way to Westheimer for a decent shawarma. Came at around 6pm on a Saturday and it wasn't very busy. Went inside to place a to-go order and service was very nice. Food took about 10-15 mins to come out. The place felt clean. Loved that the kitchen was right there and open so that you could see your food being made. Unfortunately, that didn't help the quality of the food at all. We considered eating inside but there weren't a lot of tables (the patio wasn't open yet), and there was a ridiculously bright, strobing open sign that ruined the ambiance of the restaurant, so we opted for eating in the car. LAMB WRAP: Lamb was under-seasoned/bland. Pickled veggies were over-seasoned/salty. Too much pickled veggies compared to meat. The ratio was completely off. Leaked a lot of juice, probably from all the veggies, and made it super messy. Who wants to eat a wrap that's dripping veggie juice the entire time? They need to reduce the veggies, increase the amount of meat, and most importantly, fix their seasoning issues! It was almost inedible. BEEF SHAWARMA WRAP: All the same major issues as the lamb wrap. Beef was under-seasoned/bland. Pickled veggies were over-seasoned/salty. Too much pickled veggies compared to meat. Dripped a ridiculous amount of veggie juice the entire time, making it super messy. FRIES: Dry and under seasoned. GARLIC SAUCE: Very watery and not garlicky/flavorful enough. FALAFEL: My bf said it was good, not great. The only decent part of the entire meal. read more

This was a first visit to Kebab Land and it won't be the last. The food is very, very tasty. I had a lamb wrap and it was huge! Better yet, it was great! Warm, the meat was tender, the veggies fresh and the bread was exceptional. We were greeted by the friendly staff and offered hot tea. Ordering is at the counter. Quick delivery of food. We were able to sit and chat for a long while - never rushed. We sat inside but there's seating outside too. I am looking forward to going back to try some other things on the menu. P.S. We tried Kebab Land for diner tonight. We decided to do take out. My husband got their burger and crinkle cut fries and was happy with his order. The fries could've have a little more seasoning, but they were pretty good. I did the shish tawook chicken and found that the chicken was well seasoned. The rice was fluffy and moist, but I would've loved some more butter to drizzle over the rice. The service was fast and friendly. I don't understand the positive reviews here. Three of us went here for dinner on a weeknight, and all got the lamb wraps with fries, and a side of hummus to share. Hardly any meat in those wraps, just a thin, thin slice of "lamb." Absolutely flavorless. The hummus came with a few skinny slices of FRIED pita. Why on earth would you fry them? Not nearly enough pita to go along with the hummus, but it really didn't matter because the hummus was also absolutely flavorless. None of us finished our meal. I got less than halfway through my wrap and asked myself "Why am I still eating this cr@p?" We left the whole plate of hummus on the table, hardly even touched. Not only their online, drive through, and menu inside are all different the workers do not know the menu so placing the order was very complicated. This is our second time trying this place assuming they have gotten better since we tried them when they first opened. it wasn't too bad. We ordered the same thing along with the side salad for $5.99. The first time the salad came in a separate container. Today she brought out my meal and I questioned her about the salad and she said it was inside. My $6 salad was two pieces of chopped lettuce and a bunch of cabbage and onion. I feel like I had to be explained here that the chicken kabobs were blended with spices and looks to be grounded meat instead. I drive up to the drive thru , fumble upon a sign to pull thru to the window and order that was a sign of in convenience right there, then a man open slide his window since it's my first visit here and will be the last to be. I asked if they were whole chicken chunks of grilled chicken he went and said yes it is, well that was a sigh I can know that it's actually chicken. I saw that the plate comes with basmati rice with 2 skewers of chicken , but then it doesn't say that any sauces or a side of coleslaw would be much included, so I asked for extra side of coleslaw and extra garlic sauce or tahini which says .99 extra with $1.35 of coleslaw. I was so dissatisfied and disappointed that the box I received to charge me $19 because he told me he will hook me up with extra coleslaw for free. After receiving the box the only deserving stars of 3 belong to the kebab only but still it wasn't even full chicken breast chunk looks to be grounded meat instead chicken but in white portion still I chewed upon some bone pieces so that drove me away to minus more on quality to me nothing stood out because the serving size of the salad and the sauces does not add up to $19 for this place including sitting in the parking lot to receive a platter plate after 20 to 25 minutes with no receipt given, I would give only the stars to making the spices and the amount of basmati rice a fair star counts but nothing else really matters to bring me back here again,so I won't be coming back here since they pinch here and there to add on any sides that really do not make it worth the $19 dish I paid for to not receive any really chicken breast kabobs, skipping here to ‍ to the right middle eastern town next time around when you are near Memorial city Mall. Honestly the worst shawarma I have ever had. We attempted to order the chicken shawarma Arabic, the chicken shawarma quesadilla, and a kids shawarma meal. They didn't have the cheese for the quesadilla so we ended up ordering 2 of the chicken shawarma Arabic. The meat was such poor quality it was inedible. Super fatty with an overpowering salty flavor. In addition to the substandard meat, they put tomatoes in the wraps but the menu doesn't say it comes with tomatoes in the description. I'm happy to ask for modifications, but the menu should be accurate to what is included in the wrap. Lastly, the guy looked at me like I was making things up when I asked for the kids meal. He then looked at the menu and I guess realized at that moment that they had a kids meal. Heads up, ignore their hours on Yelp. They're open late! My wife and I had both the lamb and chicken wrap, and I had a beef taco. Food is delicious, filling, and cheap (for 2025). It was so good that my wife and I just placed another order despite our previous order occurring just a few days ago. We normally cook from home so when we eat out, we like to try different places. My first time to try this new-to-Spring Branch location. Drove away with a mixed bag of pros and cons. The pros: I ordered a spicy chicken kofta kebab and it was tasty! A good portion of kebab and way too much rice underneath. They gave me a small container of hummus to try and it was also very good. The cons: The grilled veggies were sparse. I think there was one slice of yellow squash, one slice of eggplant (razor thin), a small piece of bell pepper and then a half a roma tomato and a big chunk of onion that was mostly still raw. The drive through is convenient, but since they are making your food to order it took about 10 minutes to come out. Good for freshness, bad if you are in a hurry. Overall, I the kebab was tasty enough to try them again, but they need to make some adjustments. Maybe give less rice and more veggies? read more

WELCOME TO SPRING BRANCH KEBAB LAND !!! You passed my first middle eastern food test with flying colors. I ALWAYS check out these types of restaurants by seeing if they make a GREAT FALAFEL. And there's turned out to be quite like the one's I used to get from London Falafel Street merchants (which if you've been to London you know is THE ONLY FALAFEL that is worth eating).
