    Family platter mixed grill

Extremely fancy family run authentic Turkish place with a lot of love, care and first ingredients put into every single dish. We tried half the menu in a big family outing and everything was spectacular down to the Turkish ice cream That's so stretchy and thick. The staff is extremely friendly and the presentation on the dishes is very aesthetic. Absolute favorite thing here was the Adana kebab. And I heard good things about their halva

Yummy!! The servers are very sweet and patient. The food is deliciousssss!! We love love the vegetarian plate with falafel and the bread that comes out before as an appetizer! The place inside is peaceful and has pretty decor. And the prices are fair!

The most authentic Turkish food I've had in Houston! This isn't one of those fancy restaurants, but if you're a true food lover and want to taste the best dishes from different countries, this is the place to go. It's not just any Turkish food--it's from Gaziantep, which in my opinion has the best meat dishes. The prices were very reasonable, and we finished our meal with baklava and tea, which were both excellent. Our server was also very friendly and communicative, which made the experience even better.

We've been coming to Ayintap with my family for over five visits now, and it's quickly become one of our go-to spots. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. We almost always get the mixed grill platter, and it never disappoints, perfectly grilled meats, tender and juicy, with just the right amount of spice. Their hummus is smooth, rich, and packed with flavor, perfect for dipping or as a side with the meats. One of our absolute favorites is the cheese bread, warm, soft, and so addictive that we end up ordering extra every time. The service is friendly and the vibe is relaxed and family-friendly. Definitely a spot worth visiting (and re-visiting!).

Ayitap is the closest I've had to real Turkish doner since visiting Turkey. The meat is super flavorful and always cooked perfectly. It's clear they care about quality. This place has become a go to for dinner with my family, and it never disappoints. If you're craving Mediterranean food (turkish in general), this is the spot.

What a wonderful experience here. We had asked our server what recommendations he had for us since it was our first time. Led us to try some great dishes. He even recommended dessert. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes.

Houston's hidden gem! The Kibbeh and Mixed Plate are insanely good. Cozy spot, friendly staff, perfect for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend!

Went to @ayintapmediterraneangrill recently, I'm a big fan of #Turkish food, everything from doner, iskandar, pide, lahmachun, and more. Anyways tried this place for the first time, great ambiance and nice staff. now for the food, we ordered Iskandar Kabab, Soujouk Pide, Mix Grill Platter, and Lentil Soup. first off the Iskendar was great, just love the combination of Doner, tomato sauce, Pita and with melted butter. next you can't go wrong with pide especially with Soujouk on it. we also enjoyed the mix grill platter great portion size and variety of items. Overall we enjoyed it, definitely will be back.

This restaurant has food that is absolutely incredible. I've been to several Mediterranean style eateries but only my second experience of one with a Turkish influence. Ayintap Mediterranean Grill is located in a fairly busy shopping center which could use a little updating. However, it's home to must-do dining. We ordered a few dishes to share and was impressed with the quantity of amazing food we received. Their Red Lentil Soup is gluten and dairy free and very likely the best you've ever eaten. This was followed by a "small" Green Salad that can easily feeds two. Equally delicious and impressive is the Mixed Grill which should be shared unless you are really hungry with the stomach capacity to match. This now our favorite go-to for Mediterranean cuisine.

Amazing food with reasonable price. Should have taken a picture before eating but oh well.

Great Turkish restaurant. One of the best restaurants in Katy, Houston area. Doner kebab is same as in Turkiye. I highly recommend this place.

This is the Yogurt Kebab which was absolutely delightful on a visit where the food, unlike other visits, was great.

This place is VERY hit and miss. I've come here before and it was fantastic. But I've come other times and it's average to downright terrible. The time it was fantastic, we had İskender, Beytı, and Yogurt Kebab (similar to İskender but with Adana instead of Döner). All were beyond expectations and delicious. But then we came another time and got the same dishes and for some reason the yogurt was dry and clumpy. I get that their yogurt is home made so it'll never be the same every time, but yogurt should at least be smooth and not chunky. Also, if you want extra yogurt, they will charge you like $5 for it. They also have a very bad problem with little black flies. We're in humid Southeast Texas and flies from outside are difficult to keep out for any restaurant. But these little black flies are breeding indoors and need to be taken care of. They need to check their food storage and drains. I spend literally half my time waving away flies. The food has been fantastic --like literally amazing-- on some visits, so I know they have the potential to be great. I hope they take care of these problems.

The food is very clean fresh and has plenty of flavors, cooked very well. Service is really good and very attentive the place does get there rush hours and gets packed quick. I recommend coming back again. They do play music on the background as well.

I had looked at the menu before heading over and was initially thinking of getting the blueberry matcha since I had yet to see that as an option at other matcha places. BUT saw they were doing a gingerbread matcha for the season so i ordered that. My fiance ordered the oolong matcha. I loved my drink, so much so that I would definitely get it again but not sure if it'll still be around by the time i go back. If anything though I'll definitely get the blueberry matcha. The oolong matcha was good but the oolong was more subtle that he would've liked and overall not as thick of a drink as he'd want. We both plan on going back though to try more things!

I don't know about the rose part of it. It was basically the a cold foam part of it but I don't feel like the flavor tasted like rose or anything, just had the pink color. The Adeni chai did taste authentic. I also tried the Turkish coffee and that was strong and bold. I don't feel like the taste was too strong for me though, it was easy to drink. I also liked the presentation of the coffee. They put it in a traditional coffee pot. If you like strong coffee then this is for you. I tried the meat samosa and it was crispy and the inside was a mix of onions and minced meat. It had a nice texture for me but the inside wasn't to my flavor of taste. That's just in my opinion because I don't like onions. I then tried the Knafeh cheesecake. The Knafeh wasn't as crunchy as I thought it would be but the cheesecake portion was just like an original cheesecake, tangy and rich. I enjoyed the cheesecake. I guess I was expecting of a more of Knafeh taste like the top would be like half Knafeh instead of like sprinkles. Nevertheless, it was still good it just wasn't what I expected.
