Wow! You gotta go. Service great. Friendly and helpful. The restaurant and facilities were clean, fresh, and comfortable. To say the food was really good would be an understatement. I wasn't familiar with the menu but the server helped with that. Started with the oil and seasonings sent to the table with what appears to be crispy naan bread pieces. The dry seasons were separate from the oil which made it nice to use the amount one might prefer. My main course was the Kofta kabob served on a bed of rice with the cucumber and yogurt (or sour cream) sauce. Also a red sauce similar to mild hot sauce on the side for the rice. All of the food was very flavorful and in line with expectations for Middle Eastern foods. However, the rice was on another level. Almost a bit smoky but not quite. Tasted ver similar to the smell of a Sunday roast cooking in the oven. If you live in the area or are in the area for a business lunch, you should go. read more

Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch dining experience! So many small businesses on Hwy 6 near west park tollway (Alief area), we randomly chose this one and so glad we did. The place is a good size inside with lots of tables & space & well decorated. The food was quite good. Ordered the tomato basil soup. It was very enjoyable. I also tasted the lentil soup which also was good but I give the edge to the tomato soup which had a little bit more flavor. The hummus with bread was so very good; it's a must get item! As a 1st time diner, we weren't sure what main dish to get but we got the musakhan (1/2 chicken sitting on a pita type bread) as recommended by a staff member who may have been the owner/manager. It was very very good! All I can say is it was my first visit but absolutely won't be my last! The food is so very good & the staff is super friendly & attentive. Stopped in for lunch looking for a new dining experience and was thrilled by the decision. The restaurant was empty since the visit was during Ramadan but were treated as special guests. The restaurant is spacious, beautifully decorated, and filled with art and very bright vibrant colors. We ordered hummus, tomato soup, lentil soup and Musakhan (1/2 chicken over bread). First, all the food was absolutely amazing with very generous portions placed before you. The hummus very creamy with whole garbanzo beans on top and a pool of olive oil in the center. The bread that accompanied was warm and delicious. My lentil soup which was very good but could have been warmer. Eating Musakhan was a first for me so I didn't know what to expect. The dish was crazy good and enough for four people I really appreciated their patience and food recommendations during the ordering process. A friend invited me here to try it out after work and it was pretty good. There is pretty decent variety of food available and the pricing is decent. My first impression was the atmosphere looked better on the inside than I expected. They have a great open space with lovely decorations and a fountain inside! The menu has appetizers to share, main entrees, and a section called bakery that has their selection of manaqeesh, sort of like a flatbread. We tried the half and half manaqeesh and that was probably one of the best things we ordered. I did like the cheesy side more than the spices. We also got a sampler platter of the appetizers which was okay- great to try a little bit of different things. We also got the grape leaves which was also okay, since it didn't feel as fresh as I would have liked. Their pita bread was warm and fresh and I loved that. We also tried the mango smoothie which was delicious and I would recommend it. The service was good and staff was sweet. The pricing was around $15 a plate. I've visited a couple times for weekday lunch. The service is excellent - all staff very friendly. Plenty of seating and nicely decorated. You could bring a large group here or just meet 1-on-1 with someone. Food is excellent - exceeded expectations. They are very proud of their hummus and for good reason. Had been seeing ads for this place and hearing great things. Went on my lunch to try out the gyros. The space seemed very family friendly with lots of seating. The bread and all ingredients were very fresh. My favorite part was the lamb. I was one of a few, so staff was very attentive. However, it was super disappointing when I tried to order a Slice of red velvet cake sitting in the display and server said it was no good and couldn't sell it. Why was it displayed as an option? Finally got to try Tahini Plus since its soft opening. I had been excited for some time for TP to open since I live literally 5 mins away and the area was aching for a good mediterranean spot to eat at. I've had TP before at its original location for a gathering and remember it being good. However, my wife and I were pretty disappointed overall with the food. The stars received are for the service and the nice interior. The food was decent but not worth the price when you consider the small portions given. I got the Gyro plate meal. Wife got the gyro and fries meal and I got the kids the Chicken Shwarma meal. We also got the hummus appetizer. The best thing we ate was the hummus! Everything else was underwhelming. To add fries to the sandwich ordered is 3.99 but the portion of fries is barely a handful. Barely a handful of fries for 4 dollars? Come on. The gyro plate came in a super small aluminum tray. At Gyro King for the same price you get a big tray with a lot more food so I felt slighted with what I got. My wife felt disappointed by the gyro and said that it was okay but not worth the price. The Shawarna was just flat and unremarkable. Again small portions not matching up to the price is the running theme. The price came out to 43 bucks for a small amount of food. I really was pulling for Tahini Plus to impress me and be a go to Mediterranean eatery since its so close by but until they up their portions so it matches up with what they are charging i will have to go elsewhere for Mediterranean. Step it up Tahini! You got potential but you gotta do more to win me over. read more

I've been a fan of their chicken shawarmas for a few years. I was sad to think that they had closed, but then I learned that the had moved to a new location. The new location is very nice. The bug in my husbands coffee is the reason I'm leaving 1 star. I was referred to this resturant by my father who ate there once before he took us and we fell in love! The food was delicious and you can tell that the owner has invested his heart and soul into the restaurant. The decor is beautiful and the service was great the first time we went. I took my husband today and he fell in love. The food AGAIN was delicious today to the point my husband ordered another shawarma for the road. We drove 2 hours to eat there on my only day off because we had such a great experience the first time. The food was so good that we both got a bit sleepy and he ordered turkish coffee for the road. We get the coffee and our take-out and walk to the car where he took his first sip of the coffee and immediately spits it out to see a bug. He walked back in to talk to Yazan and shows him the cup. Yazan states: "What did you get this time?", he looks inside the cup and Yazan asks "Do you want us to make you another one on the house?" {In arabic}. What do you mean on the house?! We paid for it. I noticed this restaurant opened a couple of months ago very close to my home. I love lamb so today I decided to go in there and see what the place look like and their menu. First of all when I went in I was greeted so nicely by this young man at the front . I ordered the lamb and he and I just started talking, he told me that everyone love the lamb chop . I was so impressed with the customer service treatment, while I awaited for my order to be prepared, he offered me some mint tea, even that was good with fresh mint leaves . Listen when he brought my order out he showed me my food, the smell and them big lamb chops, I could not wait to get home. No exaggeration those were the best lamb chop I ever tasted from a halal restaurant. The food was well seasoned down to the rice . I am sold with this restaurant it will be my go to when I do not feel like cooking . If I can give them ten stars I would of . Great food and service, still having a "soft opening", hours are limited. Service and selections were great, ordered "off menu" a Greek Salad with Gyro meat. Vegetables were crisp and fresh, the Gyro meat was well done without being burnt and was the best I've had in a long time. The sauce added to the meal without distracting, just excellent.
