    Signage for workspace pricing

Tried this coffee shop that is tucked in the back of a small strip mall complex. You can see the sign from the street but have to drive to the back to get to the business. The space inside is appealing. They have regular seating for all customers in the front & to the left. On the right, they have workspace seating in a separate room where you can pay $5 for a day pass to work all day. This area has comfortable couch seating as well as table seating. I got a mocha latte & a cortado. They were both fine. My coffee drink wasn't quite as robust as I typically like it but as I said, it was fine. I love that they have all the milk substitutes: almond, soy, coconut & oat milk. I've never had matcha before but it caught my eye that their menu has 7 flavored matcha drinks listed plus other flavors you can choose from. They have a small food menu but it surprisingly ranged from bagels, avocado toast & waffles to burger, sweet potato fries & wings. You really can stay there all day to do your work and eat! I'd come back & try their food & coffee again.

I came here for the first time to meet up with a friend who wanted to check it out on a Tuesday late morning. There is a spacious parking lot. There were customers working on their laptops and I noticed a sectioned off work/group room for rent. I really love the decor and huge menu on the wall written in chalk style. The Texas wall art is awesome. The staff person was very welcoming. The restroom was pretty clean. My friend ordered the Wah chicken sando which she said had great flavor. I got the iced rose matcha latte and egg & cheese croissant sandwich. I loved the floral taste balanced perfectly with fresh matcha. The sandwich was delicious and I'm usually not a sauce fan but it was delicious. I definitely want to try their Wah burger next time.

The interior of Wah Coffee is so pretty and perfect for studying. I got the banana matcha and my boyfriend got the strawberry matcha. I'm not gonna lie but this is the worst matcha that I've tried in Houston. It was grainy, tasted like water, and has a weird aftertaste. The strawberry matcha had no strawberry flavor but at least the worker was nice and added more syrup when we asked. The service was nice but poor girl was telling me that they were having a rough morning and didn't have a lot of things. I don't think I will be back but if I am maybe it's to try their coffee or to study.

Beautiful coffee shop! They had a pretty extensive list of matcha drinks. I was able to try their mango matcha and it was a perfect balance of mango and matcha ! Service was fast and attentive . They also have a separate area you can rent if you need a work space . The free seating space is small so first corn for serve and I really enjoyed their playlist

I love the environment. I go there whenever I need to study and they have a lot of space whether you like studying in the dark or big enough windows to study with nature lightening. The coffee was pretty good, I just wish the banana bread flavor would stand out a little more. Otherwise, the drink is definitely a treat. The service was good with friendly staffs.

Came here to get some work done because it's very close by and I'd definitely return! I ordered the banana matcha latte, chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries and fried Oreos. The matcha latte was perfect, it wasn't too sweet and the banana flavor wasn't too over powering but I feel like it needed something else to give it a boost. The fries and sandwich were really good although I feel like it should come together and not à la carte. The fried Oreos were my least fav thing, I think they were tempura fried instead of the ones I'm used to. Overall the service was great and the cute girlies up front were so friendly! It's a cute coffee shop to get some work done. They do have another section where you have to pay like $5 to get in and work from there and I feel like as long as you make a purchase you should be able to use the space but that's just my option lol

You know for a coffee shop, their chicken sando and burgers are actually really good! Very surprised! And the coffee here is great as well. As long as they do not change anything I will be coming here very often. Coffee flavor is great and proportions have been consistent each time I've been here. Staff are super nice. The only thing that sucks here is that their internet sucks. But maybe use that time to focus on your drink!

Strawberry Matcha with Strawberry Cold Foam
    Issie S.

This was my first time visiting this location, and I ordered a strawberry matcha with strawberry cold foam. The staff was extremely welcoming, and the ambience felt modern yet comfortable. That said, I do think the drinks are a bit on the pricey side. The strawberry matcha itself was decent--about a 7/10. Not the best I've ever had, but definitely not the worst. The cold foam, which came with an extra charge, wasn't really worth it in my opinion. Overall, while the drink didn't blow me away, the great customer service and pleasant atmosphere would bring me back again. It's not something I'd rush out of my way to try, but it's a solid option if you're in the area.

    Chicken Sando

The study/work vibes are IMMACULATE. It's so spacious with so much large seating perfect for groups. Tucked away at the end of a little plaza, you'd never see it if you weren't intentionally looking for it. It is cold so make sure to dress appropriately if you're temperature sensitive. The drinks were small and expensive. For a $7 drink I'd expect either a very concentrated 12 oz or a normal tasting 16-20oz cup but it was none of that. The seasonal banana bread latter was WAY better than the permanent banana flavoring they add to their drinks. The Sando was nice and crispy and honestly one of the few bites that I think are worth it here - the rest of the stuff is super small in portion size. Wasn't too busy on a Sunday at 10am but got very packed by 4/5pm

Matcha tea latte and mango yogurt drink with sandwich
    Jahnabi C.

Went to this new coffee spot during their opening day and had a nice experience. We ordered matcha tea lattes with oat milk, and it was smooth and flavorful. Our kid got a mango yogurt drink, I tried couple of sips too, and it was fresh and delicious. To go with our drinks, we ordered some wings, chicken sando and avocado toast. Wings and the sandwich tasted great, we all loved it. However, avocado toast was okay but not something I'd order again. The space itself is beautifully done, warm and cozy ambiance with beautiful interior decor. It's a nice spot to sip your drink and unwind or get your work done.

Strawberry matcha w/almond milk - 9/10 - One of the best strawberry matchas ive had, just wish the strawberry puree was smoother White mocha lavender latte w/almond milk - 9/10 - So good, loved the balance of both flavors Rose matcha - 7/10 - $7 - Basically a milk rooh afza with matcha Avocado toast - 9/10 - $8 - Bread was perfectly toasted, avocado could maybe use more spice/lemon but still delicious Sweet potato fries - 9.5/10 - $7 - So tasty and loved the spicy coating If these were crispier they would be a 10 Chicken sando - 8/10 - $8 - Saucy and full of flavor but chicken wasnt as crispy as i hoped This new coffee shop is straight out of Pinterest with the most aesthetic vibes and perfect for working/studying at. I love the quality of their syrups, balancing well with the strong coffee and matcha taste. I also liked how frothy they made their matcha. Definitely recommend checking them out for some flavorful snacks and drinks!

The girl who took care of me was super friendly and provided great customer service, so I definitely want to give credit where it's due. That said, the overall experience was disappointing. The shop is located in the corner of a small business plaza on a busy street, and it's kind of hard to get into. Parking is very limited, which makes stopping by inconvenient. While the place looks pretty in pictures and at first glance, it was actually quite dirty inside. There was trash around, and it did not feel clean at all, which honestly made the experience unpleasant. I ordered the mango matcha latte, and I really don't understand why it's called "mango" because there was barely any mango flavor. It mostly just tasted like plain matcha with milk, and the flavor overall was lacking. To make matters worse, a 12 oz drink was over $7, which feels way overpriced for the quality and portion size. Overall, I'd rate it a 4/10. Friendly service, but overpriced, poor flavor, limited parking, and disappointing cleanliness. I personally won't be coming back.

That's when we came across Cup N Char and noticed they offered Detroit-style pizza--something neither of us had tried before. We stopped by to order in person, and right away the staff made a great impression. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was very clean. There were also a few groups dining in, which gave the place a nice, welcoming vibe. Since we wanted to try a variety, the staff recommended ordering a half-and-half medium pizza, which turned out to be the perfect suggestion. We went with half Italian Mob (pepperoni, onions, banana peppers, and sausage) and half Grassy Chicken (chicken, onions, and banana peppers). Both sides were flavorful, with the Detroit-style crust really standing out--crispy on the edges and soft inside. We also ordered the chicken wings with the original hot sauce, and those were a great addition. The flavor was rich and buttery--definitely a must-have alongside the pizza. Overall, the portions were generous, and we loved being able to mix and match flavors. This is a spot we'll definitely be coming back to for takeout pizza and wings.

I don't know whether I've become accustomed to the food and perhaps I'm simply bored with the menu or whether the bar has lost its luster from my very first experience here. The chicken wings are done well, but you have to understand that I was a Frank and Teresa's Ankur bar chicken wings consumer over 50 years ago and so it is always difficult for me to give the same kind of grade for someone else. The service is reliable the bartenders are very quick and taking order however, their skill is not equivalent which is one reason that I'm not as bullish on this restaurant as I used to be. The ambience is simply a sports bar. Nothing unique or outstanding to be honest. Well kept clean.
