I loved all the dishes, the pizza was definitely some of the best halal pizzas ive had. Nearly everything was full of flavor and cooked well. They have daily specials and so many menu options like bowls, curries, pizzas, wings, biryani, rolls, and more. Great spot for takeouts!

The staff is very nice and give good recommendations if it is your first time trying Indian food. The lunch special is well priced and fills you up. The food was delicious and flavorful and comes out perfectly hot. The naan bread is the best I've had in the area. Will definitely be back!

We studied the map of this area looking for a new place or cuisine to try since we were in this area anyway. We found a great one thanks to high reviews. My wife loved her butter chicken bowl with rice, chick peas and salad. I enjoyed my small chicken tika masala pizza, very tasty and I still got two meals out of it. This is more of a take out place but they do have a few tables for dining in. Plastic plates and silverware are not my usual cup of tea but the quality of the food makes a visit well worth your while.

Overall, glad there's a local Indian restaurant in the neighborhood (much better than the Vegeterian Indian restaurant in the same plaza). Easy to order on Yelp and just go to the restaurant to pick up. Limited seating so I recommend to-go. I didn't get to try their pizza yet but I will be back to order that next time. Chicken tikka masala was creamy, delicious and right amount of medium spice. I'm glad I got the dinner special combo to try other things with it. I enjoyed the creamy, saag paneer with rice. Dessert was too sweet for my liking but glad I got to try it. Chicken Vindaloo is spicy - as it should be - but a tad too watery. Nevertheless, I still recommend it for anyone who enjoys spicy food. Their curries comes with rice (normal nationwide) and I recommend getting Naan. Prices are reasonable and good amount of parking.

Spicy Corn Pizza (V)

Fun concept, solid pizza. Great unique take out pizza place The pizza crust is perfectly crispy, chewy, and doesn't get soggy on transport home! Got the butter paneer and spicy corn, both were great. Would be even better if you could purchase extra makhani sauce for dipping! And if the spicy corn was actually cooked up in a spicy garlic oil or something to add an extra flavor kick, but still great tasting, the spicy corn had a hint of garlic flavor in the sauce I think. Would definitely recommend, great change from other pizza places! I want to try the samosa chat next time. Also both lassis (strawberry and mango) are really good!

Tikka masala pizza

Great place for pizza with a South Asian twist! Would not have really thought much by the name, but they have plenty of Indian foods to order from, but our favorite meals are their pizzas with Indian inspirations, namely the Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken pizzas. They are so flavorful and tasty, and spicy if that is not your speed! Not much seating inside, so fair warning. My recommendation is to order carry out.

Paneer Tikka Pizza

I was spending time with my new nephew, and decided to order dinner takeout for my family. Twisted Pizza popped up on my feed. So, I had to try to them out. We ordered a bunch of food, and customer service was good. I liked the variety of food we could order from here. Here's a breakdown of the items: Chicken/paneer tikka pizzas: these were pretty good. Although, I didn't taste much Indian spices. Veggie samosas: Delicious. I enjoyed the spiced potato filling. The fried wrapper was kind of dense, instead of light. Samosa chaat: this was so fun to eat. The curry chickpeas were still warm, and I enjoyed mixing it with the crushed samosa, crunchy bits, tamarind sauce, and lots of mint chutney sauce. Chicken tikka masala: there was a pleasant flavor and a good amount of chicken pieces. I will say it's a milder curry compared to spots like Aga's or Naseeb. But, if you're into a milder flavor, it's good: Chicken vindaloo: nice vinegar flavor with curry. Nice chunks of chicken and potatoes. Yummy. Chicken Momos: nicely seasoned filling, dumpling wrapper was pretty good. Next time, I want to try their veggie Momos. Overall, it's a good spot to get your Indian food fix. You can try all kinds of foods and see which one you like. Come check them out.

Lunch special + 2 samosas

Give this place a try! It opened during the pandemic and it's still here! It changed up its business model, I guess because when it first opened it mainly sold pizza and momo's. But I have been looking for a quick, casual Desi take out place on this side of Richmond for a while.... because there really wasn't one! NOW WE HAVE ONE! YAY! I tried the lunch special and it did not disappoint. For $10.95 I had naan, Paneer Makhani, and Chicken Tikka Masala with rice. I added on 2 veggie samosas. They were really crispy and delicious. I am glad I gave this place a try! I look forward to trying a bunch of other dishes in the future. I asked about momo's and they were able to explain the difference between them vs chinese dumplings.... so I will have to give them a try next time, and update my review! The staff was also really friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking up front, and great location off Harlem Road and Grand Parkway.

Indian Lunch Special

I got the lunch/dinner special and it was such a great price for the amount of food you got! Naan -4.5/5 Decent naan! Not the best I've had but it was fluffy and a great texture. Kheer - 5/5 delicious dessert! Normally I'm not a fan of kheer but it was a nice yogurt and not too thick! The raisins inside were sweet and the rice was well cooked. Chicken Tikka Masala - 4/5 not the best but very decent! It was heavy on the tomato base flavor so if you enjoy it then you might rate this higher. There was definitely a small kick even when I ordered mild. Dal Tadka - 5/5 great curry flavor and the beans were very soft. Good texture and great flavor to go with the naan. Saag Paneer - 4.5/5 spinach was very soft but I'm not the biggest fan of the cheese inside. Rice - 5/5 rice was well cooked and decently seasoned

One of my fave pizza spots! Love the spicy beef and chicken tikka pizzas. I Laos tried their veggie noodles and they were MUST TRY! Highly recommend it and always exceptional customer service.

Brand new mom & pop establishment in the area serving the best pizza I've had. Customer service is top notch... seriously. Each pizza is made fresh and topped with a generous amount of toppings. These guys don't cheat when it comes to loading up a pizza. I did half chicken tikka and half paneer and each slice was amazing. I also got an order of their momos which hit the spot. If you're in the area, definitely check these guys out!

12 inch Tandoori chicken, $14.99.

Our party of three dropped in for dinner since we were in the mood for Indian foods. Our first surprise was that there were only two tables for dine in eating. So we decided to get food to go. Our second surprise was that there was no Indian food available because the kitchen was closed. Shocking since it was only 6:30 p.m. The menu clearly stated that all foods were available till 9 p.m. The only foods we could order were pizza and momo. We decided to go with a medium tandoori chicken and a medium butter paneer pizza with thin crust. The cost was $14.99 per pizza. Both pizzas tasted excellent. The seasoning and heat levels were perfectly balanced. The thin crust worked perfectly with the toppings. We will not hesitate to order pizza from this place again. The low rating was due to the early closing of the kitchen.

We ordered the 10 piece wings in hot honey and spicy soy, per recommendation of the manager/owner. The wings were really big and so flavorful! There was a good kick to the spicy soy and both were wet sauces. The wings took about 17 mins to make, but were well worth the wait. I would definitely order both flavors again, but really liked the hot honey the best. You could hear the crisp of the wings each time you took a bite. We aren't near here but the drive back would be worth it! The owner/manager checked up on us while we ate and there lots of people coming through for to-go orders as well. Cant wait to come back for more!

Very disappointed with my experience at CM Chicken. I was pretty excited to try this place in Texas…read moregiven that I have tried other locations across the country. When we first entered, the smell of the restaurant was not pleasant, something like dirty water being used to clean the place. We went to the cashier to place our order and felt that he was not well versed with the menu and was confused with what we were trying to order. We ended up getting the 10 tenders, half w/ garlic spicy with snow sauce, and the other half w/ soy garlic. Lastly, we ordered the rose tteokbokki. The rose tteokbokki was sad. When it came out, the tteokbokki pieces were the smallest rice cakes I have ever been served in a restaurant and there was very little of it. Tasting it, I could tell that it was prepackaged rose tteokbokki that was most likely microwaved prepared. Many of the rice cakes were undercooked. The curry sauce tasted sour, borderline rancid. Keeping in mind that I have tried other CM Chicken's, this did not taste on brand. The spicy garlic sauce was fine. We brought it up to the management telling them of our concerns with the tteokbokki being undercooked and the curry sauce tasting sour. They offered to re-prepare the rose tteokbokki and the curry sauce chicken but we opted to just change to garlic soy. When the rose tteokbokki came out for a second time, it was definitely overdone in the microwave. The rice cakes were dried out, leathery, and overdone. For $14, it was the tiniest serving I have ever seen from a Korean restaurant, and we could've gone to hmart and gotten a better version for less. The garlic soy sauce was okay, but tasted watered down/diluted compared to what I've had before at other chains. My friends and I were very disappointed with CM chicken at Richmond, and definitely won't be coming back.

That's when we came across Cup N Char and noticed they offered Detroit-style pizza--something neither of us had tried before. We stopped by to order in person, and right away the staff made a great impression. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was very clean. There were also a few groups dining in, which gave the place a nice, welcoming vibe. Since we wanted to try a variety, the staff recommended ordering a half-and-half medium pizza, which turned out to be the perfect suggestion. We went with half Italian Mob (pepperoni, onions, banana peppers, and sausage) and half Grassy Chicken (chicken, onions, and banana peppers). Both sides were flavorful, with the Detroit-style crust really standing out--crispy on the edges and soft inside. We also ordered the chicken wings with the original hot sauce, and those were a great addition. The flavor was rich and buttery--definitely a must-have alongside the pizza. Overall, the portions were generous, and we loved being able to mix and match flavors. This is a spot we'll definitely be coming back to for takeout pizza and wings.

Why 4 stars? Because I enjoyed this Detroit-lite pizza…read more --- --- --- I am a big fan of Detroit style pizza, but Cup N Char is kind of its own thing. It's not cut into squares like traditional Detroit pizza and it's not quite as over-the-top thick. It's more like a slightly thicker than normal crust with charred edges. When I first arrived, my brother and his friend had been there for a bit and already had a couple of pizzas. I nabbed a slice of each and thought both were perfectly fine, but not really remarkable. In fairness, they had been sitting out for about 20 minutes at that point. I then ordered a supreme for me and my friend to share. At first, I had kind of a similar outlook as the slices I'd tried earlier: just okay. But as I kept eating, it really grew on me and I enjoyed it. The table shared some pizza rolls and some fries, which I snacked off of and enjoyed. Overall, I wish this place wasn't so far from my house because I'd love to try it again, but it was a good experience for our group overall.

(Combo meal). They told me it was going to take a few mins so after I paid, I told them I'll go park and come inside. There were people behind me and I didn't want to hold people up. After parking and going inside. I didn't have my cup to get a drink yet so I was waiting at the front just... kind of watching the staff. I think two of the three, including the one who was at the window and took my order, must of been on break because they literally did not do much but stare back at me and the food/drink they were eating/drinking. The manger was running back and forth. After he gave me my bag, it was just the biscuit sandwich. So I asked "where was the side? " . He passed me the side, then I asked" where do I get a cup for drinks?" The manager didn't realize I never had the cup because he thought the staff member at the window gave me my cup. In the bag, there was no napkin or spoon for the side. Or maybe I just didn't see them next to the soda machine because I was getting annoyed at this point and just wanted to leave. As for the food, barely any icing. The chicken was mid. The meat has a reddish tint to it like it's supposed to be a spicy chicken ? It was confusing to look at. The biscuit was slightly sweet and crusty along the edges (the best part of this whole thing). Mac and cheese was mid. The whole combo was overall mid. Admittedly, tables and chairs are clean. Lots of space. They have an outdoor area too. They have a small window in the kitchen area where you can watch them make the dough. Free parking out front. I would take out the ai in the drive through. I did not like it at all. If I have to wait for a bit, it would be good if they have a spot I can go to while they take care of the customers behind me and I'm not holding up the line for 5 minutes.
