Pistachio latte - 8/10 - Decent for a pistachio latte, nothing crazy Vanilla latte - 6.5/10 - Didnt really like the vanilla flavor Hazelnut latte - 7.5/10 - A little too sweet, okay for coffee Dubai chocolate crepe - 9.5/10 - Loved this, not overly sweet, filling was a bit dry but perfect besides that Classic breakfast plate - 8.5/10 - The sausage was so flavorful and juicy, eggs were pretty good too Nutella waffle - 9/10 - Really yummy I was really excited about another halal brunch spot opening in town and finally got to try it. I liked their food items more than their coffee Its a great spot for casual breakfast/brunch. I would go back to try some of other menu items like their croissant sandwiches or pastries

The waffle was everything! Loved the Nutella and pistachio drizzle! It was like Dubai chocolate on a waffle with fresh fruit. The staff was friendly. The WiFi was reliable and we were able to work here for the afternoon. The place was clean and so were the bathrooms. Would recommend and will be back when visiting Houston!

We stopped by Mood Cafe for their Turkish breakfast, and it was to die for! Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor. The spread was generous, from perfectly seasoned eggs to the softest bread and delicious cheeses and olives. You can really taste the care that goes into the food. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service made the experience even better. It's the kind of place you want to linger over coffee and good conversation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique, satisfying breakfast experience in Sugar Land!

High reviews on google had me anticipating a good visit, but my high expectations landed in slight disappointment. First and foremost, staff wasn't the most welcoming, which is fine cus not everyone is going to be rainbows and sunshine but at least say a hello? I got an iced vanilla latte, and it was horri-bleh. Drink was way too milky, and I couldn't even taste the vanilla. I just chugged it because what's the point of savoring it when it's not good. The one thing I did enjoy was the Dubai chocolate cake though... that's what brings this rating to a 4 instead of a 3. Super moist, and I think they soak the chocolate cake in some sort of syrup. Filling was delicious, my only comment is that the knafeh was kind of stale and hard, but it was still yummy. Loved the pistachio cream and the hard chocolate layer on top. I'd come back just for the cake! Plenty of parking and the inside is nice and spacious.

Absolutely delighted with this place. My mom in law is a huge fan of the place. They just offered us an absolute gorgeous 90th birthday party for her and our family. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the staff were five stars. I'm absolutely making this place my new cafe spot with my friends and family.

Comfy local coffee shop with great coffee and service. Staff have always been friendly and I've never had to wait long. Atmosphere has always been nice and calm, perfect for studying or working.

WONDERFUL WAFFLE FANTASTIC FRIES…read more Saturday 1 pm. 30 minute wait. Place is small. Raining. Outside tables and bar seating is available right now. We wait. Menu is on a QR code on napkin box or u can ask for paper menu. ALOT of variety. Burrito, chicken and waffles, donuts, chicken wings, spam and eggs, bulgogi kimchi fries, country fried steak and more. Ordered 1. Ube Waffle- Warm, creamy, buttery, fresh waffle taste, delicious! Would order again and again 2. Bulgogi Kimchi fries- I was not expecting them to be this good as kimchi has a very strong fermented, acidic flavor. SO GOOD. There wasn't tons of kimchi on the fries, they have mayo and hosin sauce on them with cliantro and other stuff. did I say SO GOOD? Would order again and again as a shareable between friends. 3. Country Fried Steak, sunny side up eggs and cheesy hash- I did not expect it to be so tender. The pepper flavor hit me right away. The runny eggs with some hash on the fork, delicious combo. 4. Viet style Steak and eggs- My friend ordered it, it's his second time ordering. He loves it. It comes with a salad, dressing and two how u want'em eggs. The steak is marinated and tender. Service was fast. I had a mimosa, it wasn't too orangey or too champagney. I loved the glass it came it, stylish and tapered upwards. Would try a different drink next time. They have a lot of different drinks. Overall, the visit has me wanting more, especially hearing about their unique donuts. Already looking forward to next visit. Gonna try other things in the menu. The fries and waffle would be part of my final death row meal

Good Vegan spot in the Sugar Land area with craft cocktails!…read more The vibe is 'out of this world', eclectic and quirky. So don't expect to impress for a romantic date night unless your date's really into aliens - then you should definitely take them there!! Mostly a chillaxed vibe up in here. We sat at the bar, and our mixologist was friendly and enjoyable to chat with. The drinks were crafted well. I opted for the Everglade Martini, and it was so refreshing!! I had two - let's be real! But the cocktail menu is vast, so there is something for everyone's taste buds. The food was really good too. That night, my friend and I opted for Fried Mushrooms, Kabob Gyro, and Classic Pepperoni Calzone. The mushrooms were awesome - fried perfectly, not greasy, and the Buffalo Sriracha dipping sauce was flavorful. Our meals were both great, too. Overall, a great night over some delicious vegan food!

Perplexed what so many others found good about it. After leaving a review the owner replied calling me a jackass and said don't ever come back. As if I would. He of course quickly edited for public view to seem concerned. I guess you can fool people only for so long. To the owner I say try owning up to reality, have a backbone and take some responsibility, that is if you ever get another chance to serve the public

Cute place with a heartwarming backstory. Nice and busy for brunch on a Saturday morning!…read more I got the scrambled eggs with chorizo and onions and it was DELISH. Also came with a biscuit and jam, which were average - the biscuit tasted like it might have been from a box or mix rather than scratch? But not sure. My friend got the Oliver's breakfast which was a large portion, and she also got a blueberry pancake, which was packed full of blueberries and had a nice crispy edge. She also ordered hot tea and got to choose her tea bag from a lovely box, which was a cute touch. The only thing I might say is that the owner was a bit brusque/gruff. I understand being businesslike and I know customers can be a pain in the food industry, but his attitude was just not very welcoming I suppose. Still a good experience overall though! Glad to see Oliver's is doing well!

It contains balsamic marinated mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, feta whip...all on what I think is an herb focaccia. This time, the balsamic was so prominent, I couldn't eat it. Which is saying a lot because I eat lemons like oranges. The liquid also soaked through my bottom piece of bread, making it soggy and inedible. My husband tried the Reuben and it was fantastic. I would definitely come back to order that one. I think I'm gonna have to steer clear of the other, due to inconsistency

Here's what we tried: Queso & Chips: Super creamy and flavorful. The chips were fresh and had the perfect crunch. Great way to get it poppin'! I orderd the BBQ Beef Hash: It was on point! Smoky, filling, and satisfying. The beef was tender, and the potatoes had a nice crisp. Topped with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs--comfort food done right. Michelle had the Cheeseburger: She commented that it was tasty and juicy. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. The bun was soft and buttery, and the cheese melted just right. Couldn't leave without trying the So' O's (Southern Fried Oreos: Absolutely indulgent! Crispy outside, gooey inside, and dusted with powdered sugar. A fun and nostalgic dessert that's worth throwing all of l the calories away for. The vibe is upbeat and Southern-chic, with quirky decor and a lively crowd of all ages and backgrounds. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are a little high, but portions are generous. Would definitely come back--especially for brunch and those fried Oreos!

Water was dripping on us from the AC vents due to moisture buildup, which made the environment uncomfortable and unsanitary. The food was equally terrible. The crab cake had a strong fishy odor/taste and appeared undercooked - we had to send it back. The table next to us also sent the crab cake back so that's how you know it was bad. My mom and sister both ordered the State Fare Breakfast, and their meals were no better. The hash browns were raw, and the biscuit was so hard like a rock. Even after they brought replacements, the food was still poorly prepared and barely edible. I've never gone somewhere that has messed up hash browns! My dad and I ordered the birria grilled cheese, and that also did not taste good. This restaurant prioritized massive quantities of food over quality. The large size of foods led the food to not be cooked adequately. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't be misled by the positive reviews like I was.

The concept was built around hearty comfort food, large portions, and a family-friendly mountain-lodge atmosphere. As of 2026, that means the chain has been operating for about 31 years. The company has grown from a single diner in Northern California to more than 150 locations across multiple states. Out of the gate we waited to be sat with an empty restaurant. Once sat we waited about 5 minutes for drink order. Placed order for fried chicken (they were out!) and open face turkey. Switched to blackened salmon. With baked potato / salad xtra seasoned veggies. This is a neat atmosphere and you really wanted this meal to be good so you could return but unfortunately, it just was a miss. The baked potato was not fully cooked, so it was very difficult even to cut it in half. I'm not sure what happened on the season vegetables, but they were literally burnt so I'm not sure if they saute them after they flash boil them? So the broccoli was burnt and mushy, and the carrots were hard as a rock. The portion size was very large, except for the salmon, which was about 5 ounces. The menu called for it to be blackened, but there was very little if any seasoning on it at all, and certainly it was not blackened. Turning attention to the turkey plate, it was not nicely carved in the ocean slices of turkey rather it looked like pulled apart, sandwich meat on not so high-quality white bread. I definitely think there's a lot of room for improvement, but it's a risk given so many restaurants in the general area to stop back. Del was our server. He was very polite and did a good job.
