DEFINITELY A PRECIOUS GEM FOR VEGETARIAN FOOD!…read more First of all, I fall in love with the poetic name of the restaurant. Speaking of the name has already delivered calmness, stillness and clarity. In Houston, it's not easy to find an authentic vegetarian restaurant. So my friend and I decided to drive from Cypress to Water Drop Teahouse. Water Drop Teahouse is much like a small, quiet canteen located in a temple. You can park outside and walk in slowly. And enjoy the serenity of the garden. We came by lunch. The tables were almost occupied yet the ambiance was calm and quiet. The food we ordered was great, fresh. They tasted so good. Our favorite was the 6-item appetizer and we ended up ordered 2 big plates. Jadeite Fried Rice was very impressive to me. The tea was served in a very nice, inviting pot. We finished our lunch with 2 petite mochi desserts, filled with red bean and taro. The outer skin layer was soft and the fill-in was on point. ( The red bean was sweeter than the taro one, to my palate.) The service here was warm-welcoming. Helping us and serving the food were volunteers and they helped us with kindness and patience. My memory is still lingered with the arts of gentleness, not only in food but also the human connection I experienced here with the volunteers/helpers. I fall in love with Water Drop Teahouse. Best, Chloe

The café has a warm, inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating and an abundance of electrical outlets, making it an excellent place to work, study, or catch up with friends. The music was soft and relaxing, creating a cozy environment without being distracting. Although there was a steady stream of customers throughout our visit and every table was occupied, the café never felt overwhelmingly loud. Despite being busy, the noise level remained low enough that we could comfortably hold a conversation and focus on studying. They offer a great selection of specialty coffee drinks, teas, pastries, and sandwiches. A word of caution for anyone with celiac disease or who is highly sensitive to gluten: the pastry and sandwich selections are not gluten-free, so options are quite limited. However, I appreciated that they offer several non-dairy milk alternatives, making it easy to customize beverages for those with dairy allergies or preferences. One thing that really sets this coffee shop apart is its house-made syrups. I didn't try one during this visit, but they sound like a specialty worth coming back for. I ordered a matcha latte made with almond milk, which had a pleasant, earthy Japanese matcha flavor. It wasn't sweetened, so I added a packet of stevia. Next time, I'd love to try one of their house-made syrups instead to add a touch of sweetness and experience one of their signature flavors. Overall, this is a charming neighborhood coffee shop with a welcoming atmosphere, quality drinks, and an ideal setting for studying, working remotely, or enjoying a relaxed afternoon with friends.

The tea comes very sweet if you order it as it is, so I found that ordering the drink with half sugar was the perfect balance of sweetness while not distracting from the tea flavor. I liked how creamy the tea was, and appreciated how it wasn't watery and diluted. The avocado smoothie was very dense but still tasty also. Spent a good 4 hours here studying and had no complaints. Wifi was stable and the seats were comfy. There was plenty of seating even on a weekend and almost every seat was near an outlet. There were a lot of students there studying so the environment is pretty quiet. If you are in the area and want to study or grab a flavorful drink, stop by and order a Thai Green Tea. 9/10!

Located next to Half Price Books, the shop has ample parking, a pastry display, and a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. The prices seemed reasonable, and the atmosphere initially looked inviting, with several customers studying or working quietly. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. One customer was recording herself for what appeared to be a job interview or job search video, speaking extremely loudly for 15 to 20 minutes without headphones. I brought the disruption to the baristas' attention, but they essentially shrugged it off instead of politely asking the customer to lower her voice. To make matters worse, when I looked in the direction of the customer recording herself, she called me a "bitch" and asked, "What are you looking at?" I reported this verbal abuse to the staff, but no one stepped in to address the situation. The café's response demonstrated poor customer service. I understand that a coffee shop is a public space and will not always be completely quiet, but there should still be reasonable expectations for customer conduct. A simple, polite reminder to lower one's voice could have resolved the disruption. Instead, the staff's lack of action left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I have never been called a derogatory name by a complete stranger in a public setting before, so the experience was particularly bizarre and unpleasant. What disappointed me most was that even after I reported both the disruption and the verbal insult, the staff made no apparent effort to address either issue. With plenty of other coffee shops in Sugar Land, there is no reason for us to return to an establishment where disruptive behavior goes unaddressed and customers are left to deal with verbal abuse on their own. Unfortunately, neither my acquaintance nor I will be coming back. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides employees with better training on handling disruptive customers and maintaining a welcoming environment for everyone.

This spot came recommended, so, I figured I would check it out The coffee shop is tucked away behind some office buildings and situated just outside a residential area. The exterior is nothing flashy, but as I walked up I noticed several people enjoying their coffee outside and enjoying the beautiful Houston Spring weather The exterior was chic and cozy. There is a variety of coffee types to try a you can order beans, merch, and other coffee items to the right when you walk in. There's also a space in the back with machinery where they most likely do much of the coffee prep work and R&D. The order counter is simplistic, clean, and almost futuristic in vibe. There is plenty of indoor seating, but there were a bunch of people dining in and it made me feel a bit claustrophobic with most tables full, a bit of a line, and people waiting on their order. It's not a huge space, and I wish I could have seen it more empty an chill. Either way it's probably a great place to study or have a meet up with a friend or two You can order pretty much any classic coffee drink or some of their signature offerings. For coffee lovers you will find a variety of beans and options to order from the Brew Bar menu. They have hot, iced, sweet, and coffee-forward drinks. There's also plenty of pastries or bites you can order. There are small menus at the front of the line and no big menu at or behind the register. Their website doesn't provide an easy way of locating their menu so I had to wait until I was towards the front of the line to get a menu, and that is a pet peeve of mine, because then I feel rushed to order The staff were fine. Not overly friendly or pleasant. I would say everyone was professional and focused. I will say I only ordered a flat white and it took longer (probably twice as long or more) than any other coffee spot I've been to. While that would irk me slightly as I was in a rush, I'm torn on this place because it truly was some of the best coffee I've ever had. Their portions aren't very big, but the flavor will satisfy your tastebuds Some tips: See if you can grab a little menu from the front to bring with you to the back of the line. Again, I only tried the flat white, and I'm a huge flat white fan... this is probably my favorite one in the Houston area Cheers!!

Service: 3 stars for their kind service and sweet recommendation of popular drinks. We came near closing time 8:30 pm and the place is still full of people from study groups to late night couple outing. However, it took 3 people to make about 10 drinks in 20 min wait time is not very efficient. There are 10 drinks before my order and the staffs took about almost half an hour to make is not very efficient in comparison to busier establishments in Chinatown.
