My friend had me pick up coffee and breakfast here while we were in the area. It has been on my list to check out. I got there right at Saturday opening & a customer was already there studying/working. The brick wall and forest wall mural with indoor dim lighting gave a cool and chill cafe vibe. The employee was welcoming and friendly while I made my final order decision. I got the matcha latte with oat milk (vanilla syrup is used) & jalapeño sausage & cheese kolache. My friend got a Texas latte & sausage breakfast sandwich. My friend said the latte was energizing & the sandwich was perfectly filling. My matcha latte was little too sweet and creamy for me so I'll probably just need to make little adjustments for my preference next time like almond milk and less syrup. The kolache was a very good serving size and only wish I had a stronger jalapeño taste. We definitely need to come back for another visit soon! read more

My husband and I like to try out new coffee shops. We both thought that the coffees we had were good, but not great. I ordered a macchiato, and it did not seem to be that strong. We also did not order any food because we thought the prices were a little bit high. For example, a kolache is like six dollars we could go next-door and get a kolache from the kolache factory for a cheaper price! I thought the decorations and ambience inside was really cute and I loved Adam and Eve mural! The service was really good and everyone was very friendly. Day 6 was closest, so off I went for a jolt of jump start juice. I ordered a vanilla latte. Heads up: their "small" cup is actually 16 oz and large is 20! They unused Monin syrups (not my favorite but better than other options). Their espresso was so smoooooth! I made the mistake of custom ordering 2 pumps of vanilla which was a little too sweet for my taste, but that's on me. They also have very friendly service! Their espresso bakery items looked yummy and I was also tempted by a breakfast taco, but I stood firm and stuck with coffee only. Maybe another time! read more

I got a chamomile tea which has no caffeine. There was no room inside even though they have couches and different set ups with leaves and cute decor. Separate bathrooms for women and men. This is one popping place In Missouri City / Sugarland. How did I not know this place existed. One thing I love about MoCity is all the gems that are just buried unsuspecting that will blow your mind. There is no billboard or web article acclaim - but when you step inside you are transported to warmth and love on 100. This place is no exception. Such a cozy feel, the baristas are so kind and accommodating, actually smiling - can you imagine that?! They genuinely take interest in you. Here is the set up. There are so many chairs and tables, it feels like you're in a massive well decorated living room. Ample space to spread out and work or study or read scripture. Speaking of reading scripture - if God made coffee on Day 6 it was because the two new humans made him exhausted. That's why he needed rest on Day 7 teeheehee. I had a matcha latte. It was wayyyy to sweet for me. Considering I do not have a single sweet tooth in my mouth and usually drink my matcha plain. They were kinda and gave me a coffee on the house with free refills. It looks like they're low staff so the service is delayed and there was a line when i got there. I did notice they had someone that came in as a regular and got better treatment than any other guest. The atmosphere reminded me of a library or cozy like a home. They had tons of seating and more towards the back. The decor had plants, books, dresser, couches, and lamps. There was patio seating too outside. I ordered the Texas latte iced. It's one of their specialty lattes and when I received it the coffee was still warm, the ice wasn't mixed in the drink. After I mixed it myself it did have a nice flavor to it. I believe it has Carmel in it. I mostly tasted the milk more than anything and I got it with oat milk. I also tried the kolache brisket with cheese. The kolache was a big size this was more than enough to call breakfast. The outer layer wasn't soft it was more dense, firm, and overcooked. The brisket meat was also a little tough and dry. I had to really use that bbq sauce they gave me to help me finish it and I barely could taste any cheese. Overall, I really liked the design and the cozy vibes I got. However, the food and drink was not up to par. I actually wanted to give this place 2 stars because of the vibes but based on the quality I cannot. read more

Thoroughly enjoyed my drink here and service was friendly! I ended up trying the taro latte and it was delicious! A bit pricey since I added the oatmilk, but overall it was worth it. Next time I would like to try lavender. You can have it with or without espresso, which was nice. day 6 coffee is one of my favorite cafes to go to! the interior is so cozy, with comfy couches, armchairs, and a fireplace that makes it the perfect place to study or catch up with friends. i come here all the time, and it always feels welcoming the service is sooo friendly and warm, which really adds to the experience. however, i do wish there were a few more outlets, especially for longer study sessions their hot lattes are amazing, very rich and creamy. the vanilla + lavender syrup combo is so good overall, rlly good vibes, great drinks, and a spot i'll always keep coming back to! read more

I typically get a vanilla latte or cappuccino but decided to try a vanilla cortado. The person taking my order was knowledgeable & able to quickly explain the difference in a cappuccino vs a cortado. With equal parts expresso & milk, the cortado was a perfect coffee/milk ratio to enjoy the coffee without all the extra milk. The adjustment of only 1 shot vanilla instead of the standard 2 shots, created just the right amount of sweetness for my taste. I enjoyed my coffee so much I came back 2 days later for a 2nd cortado. The coffee shop does have a cozy, chill vibe. I ordered a to-go coffee but the great background music made me want to stay. read more

I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a group over the size of 5-6 people, but perfect for smaller groups. I tried the matcha latte which was truly delicious. I ordered an iced lavender latte and my fiance ordered an iced cappuccino. Both espresso drinks tasted over-extracted with that slightly burnt flavor. It was honestly a but underwhelming. Maybe with a few adjusments, Day 6 coffee could be more enjoyable for me. The ambiance is really something. I can see the Vanderbilts and Rockefeller having a meeting in the back, disgusting about US currency or maybe even crypto while sipping on Day 6 coffee. If you like a man-cave vibe, then go to the back half of the cafe. If you need to do assignments with some lights, then stay in the front half of the cafe. Servers are friendly and plenty of parking. Though, if you're sitting in the back, be careful if you have type O blood type as mosquitoes love to hide back there with their fellow fruit fly friends. Oh right, the coffee. I got an iced Texas latte (vanilla bean with caramel). I personally thought it was too much milk, not enough expresso for someone who enjoys bold, strong expresso. No caramel taste and vanilla bean wasn't strong either. It just wasn't right for me but if you enjoy a more milky latte, this is your place. I had a spinach and feta croissant- my go to anywhere it's available. It was the worst I've ever had. The word croissant makes you think of a crispy, flakey pastry- this was the absolute opposite of that. Soggy, mushy and underwhelming in flavor. Not buttery and the spinach and feta flavor was nonexistent. If I were given this blindfolded I would never be able to guess what it was and I'm certain it was popped in a microwave and potentially a few days old. I hate this was such a let down as I pass it by everyday. It's a small and black owned business- which I would've loved to support but the product had no quality- this has made me lose any potential for trusting the other items they sell, including the coffee. read more

The bread part isn't usually kolache bread, but still good just different. Light mocha latte: 9.7/10 nothing special but a great classic. Cheesecake latte: 6.5/10 So SO sweet. In Sugar Land for the weekend and wanted to try a new coffee shop so I came here to Day 6 The very first thing I loved about the place was the Ambiance! They have a bunch of nice plants by the front and a great lounge area in the back! I ordered the Iced Caramel Latte, Iced White Mocha, Chocolate Croissant, and the Brisket and Cheese Kolache The Latte and the White mocha were both great and for $5 each it was not a bad price. The chocolate croissant was good too and the chocolate tasted great! The only thing I'd say against it is that it was a bit flat and very messy. The kolache was alright, good size, but the flavor wasn't really there. Also was a bit expensive at $6. Overall I had a good time! Wish I could've spent time in the lounge area but it was very busy. Amazing customer service!!! We came just to gossip and get a sweet treat!!! I love that this place has an option for just a plain chai. Some people like myself cannot drink caffeine after 6 PM or else we're up the whole day and we feel tweaked out this place had such a cute vibe. They had this giant mural of the garden of Eden Plenty of seating with good music playing and it wasn't too loud so you could hear the other person talking when you were sitting next to them. The cashiers / baristas were very friendly!! They even have the option of make your child dirty if you want to, but I couldn't handle coffee so late.
