The coffee shop is located inside the Wellby Bank, but it's easy to find from the clear signage. As soon as you walk in, the café is on the right-hand side, with the restroom nearby. There are a few tables for seating, while the rest of the building is the bank itself. One thing that surprised me was that none of the menu items had prices listed. I ordered a large Biscoff latte, which came with three shots of espresso at 50% sweetness, and it was still plenty sweet for my taste. With tax, it came to about $8.35. The drink was well-balanced and there were Biscoff crumbs on the creme. Service was quick with two staff members working. They also offer a loyalty program if you sign up. While chatting with one of the employees, I learned they currently have three locations. This one is their newest and features a drive-thru, while another location houses their local coffee roastery. The café itself is quiet and comfortable, making it a nice place to catch up with friends or get some work done. They also provide free wifi. My only complaint is the parking lot. While there's plenty of parking, there isn't any shade. During Houston's triple-digit summer temperatures, walking back to a sun-baked car isn't much fun. Covered parking or a few more trees would definitely make the experience even better. read more

It's a solid coffee shop. Sucks that Starbucks opened literally next door, there is always a line around the building... I don't get it. Coffee is coffee, why not just go to the coffee shop with less traffic? But people are habitual creatures I guess? I've been visiting Bean Here for years, before this establishment opened I drove to Sienna, and sometimes to Arcola at the larger lab. Coffee and lattes are decent. This location is in a bank, situated in a corner. Here is my honest opinion: It's expensive. For a green tea and croissant I paid $10. Sire the croissant was huge... but still. That was a lot of money for a quick breakfast of bread and tea. I told myself I would have to do something else next time. Came in today and got a blueberry muffin. $5.14 before tip. What?... why? Why is a blueberry muffin so much? Is it like... made of imported Willy Wonka sugars or something? That's just expensive. And I got the muffin because they didn't have a croissant. Seems like a limited menu. The blueberry muffin was ok... I didn't make the mistake of ordering a drink because I wanted to keep my tab low this morning. Service is meh. They weren't warm or friendly at all. When she saw me struggling with my selection she didn't even use that as an opportunity to sell another pastry. She described nothing if I didn't point and ask about it. She was quite dry. Just wanted to close me out and... stand there I guess, there were no other customers. Otherwise I like the coffee shop, and I would always choose it over Starbucks because I prefer to support small, local businesses not monopolies that monopolize. Wish the staff was warmer. Wish the food was a tad cheaper. But it's ok. I will be back once a quarter to support. read more

Saw their Tik Tok of their competitor closing in right next door and removing their signs out of their own area. Not cool Starbucks, not cool. So we drove 45 minutes from Katy to try this place out and support a local business. Love having the drive thru option, which we opted for. We decided we drove so far, our crew of 5 was going to go for the gusto and try a bit of drinks. We got a total of 7 drinks and paid a good penny. What I didn't like is all these drinks were 1 point when I signed up for rewards. 1 pt? Yikes can't imagine how many drinks I would have to buy to move that needle. The service was just average. Not super friendly. Didn't get that warm fuzzy during our experience. Now, the drinks. We did the following: *Vanilla Cappuccino Brûlée (Iced) *the best out of our trying and took a little to get used to before deciding it was ok. *Caramel Frappuccino *this tastes nothing like a caramel frapp. It tasted like milk blended. Very lacking. *s'mores hot chocolate *this was ok and we didn't finish it *Caramel Machiatto *not a fan, didn't finish it *Vanilla Latte *this was good The menu can be confusing with the sizes. Depends on the drink what's available and it isn't clear just on the menu. I wouldn't drive back this far personally as I have a local coffee shop in my area I love. A great place to study. I like the window and how open the space feels. The baristas are very friendly and helpful with helping you find your drink. I got the Banana Crème Matcha Brûlée and was pleasantly surprised and rate it 7.3/10. I liked how the matcha was not too sweet and the flavor wasn't too overpowering. What a wonderful unique space! This coffee shop is inside a bank but it is super easy to find. They have tables and comfortable chairs which would make this a great place to work (they also have outdoor seating.) I stopped by in the morning and dined in. The direction of the shop has the sun perfectly streaming in! The barista was super helpful and provided great recommendations on drinks. I settled on the Merrigold Latte since I like something sweeter. I also ordered a bean and cheese breakfast taco with salsa. I found a spot on a couch and they brought my coffee and food out to me. Everything tasted amazing! The latte had the cute art and the gentleman actually brought out two different salsas so I could try both with my taco. The latte was perfectly mild without being overly sweet. I got the perfect hint of honey and cinnamon. Also I love that they had a menu item already with oat milk. Coming from San Antonio, the breakfast taco was not exactly what I was used to however it was still pretty tasty, especially with the creamy green salsa. I don't believe these are made in house but they must be delivered each morning. It's right next to a mainstream coffee chain but trust me, come here instead. They have a drive thru as well but much less line. They also have plenty of parking. The drink selection is wonderful and well crafted. I'll be back to try some seasonal drinks and pastries. Came here with a friend bc we were looking for any coffee place that isn't Starbucks lol. It's in the same building as a bank so don't be confused, you're in the right place! They have limited food options but very solid and unique drink flavors. I ordered the Ube Chai Latte and it was SOOOO good. It's like the perfect blend of taro and chai. Very interesting and tasty flavors for coffee! The drive thru is a bit confusing though. You have to go around the parking lot to get there. Bean Here is inside the bank and is more of a grab and go option as opposed to a classic coffee shop experience. The employees are super nice and knowledgeable with their understanding of coffee. However, I think that the taste is not fantastic. We got the Pandan latte and white chocolate matcha. The matcha was my favorite of the two, but I'd be interested to try other drinks to give a fair understanding. The Pandan, was described to me in the sense that it tastes like a popcorn kernel - and that was on the spot! If you like that strong flavor, I'd heavily recommend. read more

This particular Bean Here Coffee is connected to Wellby Financial Credit Union so it threw me off for a second, but once I was inside I realized how nice it is. I love all of the big open windows here that let in so much natural lighting. I wasn't sure what to order at first, but the workers were very friendly. Their menu is pretty large as far as options goes. There's a variety of tea, coffee, grilled paninis, and some pastries. They seem to have more pastries, but I came here in the late afternoon and were sold out of most of them already. I ended up deciding on the coconut pandan latte hot with almond milk. I loved that it actually came out in a real ceramic mug. Coffee shops need to bring this back because almost everywhere serves their coffee in disposable cups these days, the ceramic mug makes a difference! The coffee itself was perfect. The espresso was strong yet smooth, and it paired well with the earthiness of the pandan and coconut without being overly sweet. 10/10 would come here again. They have a great amount of seating and outlets to get some work done. The only thing I thought was odd was that their menu was a little too small to read without being close, and that none of their prices are shown. The only place that has a delicious turkey and cheese croissant. It is big, flakey, and has the perfect amount of cheese. I just wish they carried more because it is always sold out. Coconut Pandan Latte. Love it. A very unique flavored drink that I hope more coffee shops add to their menu. Because Bean Here has this on their menu, I make the extreme efforts to come here. Luce is the only other coffee shop that I know of in the 'Houston' area that has pandan flavored coffee. In true honesty, I think Bean Here pandan latte is better. The flavor and the strength of the coffee is superb. It's so hard to try any other flavor when I go here because I just want that Pandan!! The perfect mix of espresso too... just *speechless*. This location does have a drive thru that is shared with Wellby financial as they also share the building with them. Inside is clean and simple. The lobby is shared with Wellby. I noticed 2 large glass garage like windows that can hopefully be opened one day when the weather gets nicer. They gave me the impression that they genuinely cared about customer service, which is (understandably) not common. * Interior: this place was very clean! There's a reasonably amount of seating for a coffee place that serves a small community, but I wouldn't say there's a lot of seating. However the spacing is comfortable. It shares its space with a bank, but honestly because it's quiet with chill oldie background music, it's pretty easy to focus. Lots of chargers available too and free WiFi. *Drinks: they have a good number of unique options, such as the pandan. They are a little lacking in terms of pastries and treats though. Cons: Pricing: I think the cost is a bit high. My 12oz Merrigold was over $6. Some recommendations from me to the business: More food, such as pastries or other baked goods. Higher booth chairs for the 'bar' seating by the far windows. The chairs currently there are too low for people to comfortably use their laptops on the table. read more

Tonight I was headed to meet some new friends who are coffee enthusiasts and needed a small housewarming gift. I rushed over to this place straight from work and right before closing, made a wrong U turn on 6 (thanks Apple Maps) and ended up stuck in traffic, and by the time I figured out how to get to their little windy parking lot, it was 5:59pm. I definitely was that customer and knocked on the windows as there was a staff meeting or something going on inside, but they were nice enough to come and open the door. I was prepared to beg them to let me buy a pound of coffee but they were so nice and just told me to pull around into the drive thru while they prepped my order. They probably heard the desperation in my voice. As for the coffee itself, the seasonal blend is a medium roast single origin from Peru with notes of chocolate, lemongrass, and one other thing I can't remember. It smells AMAZING. I was sniffing the outside of the bag the whole drive to my destination tonight. I'm going to have to go back during their actual normal hours to get another bag before they change their roast. You can tell they use quality beans and ingredients here. Owner is usually around and will take to time to describe the sourcing and roasting process which he does himself. The result is depth of flavor that coffee connoisseurs can appreciate. They also invent new drinks and will give customer-creations a try if there is enough demand for it. Had the dragonfruit lynchee refresher and banana crème matcha brulee and both were incredible. This is the best little coffee shop. Much, much better than the S.B.'s next door. The staff is friendly and accommodating beyond what is normally received at shops like this. Many times the staff will bring your coffee/drink/food(breakfast sandwiches , paninis/pastries) right to you seat or table. The drinks, food, and especially their coffees and espressos are so tasty and delicious. The ambiance is very nice. Much quieter and relaxed, unlike the corporate coffee shops where the music is LOUD and annoying, especially for those wishing for a quiet, serene atmosphere where average folks and business people can use their laptops, tablets, etc. while enjoying a tasty drink or bite to eat.
