I stopped here by chance because I heard they were good and I should try the beignets. I had stomach issues the night before so did not want to chance it. I did order coffee. Columbia Supremo with vanilla. The flavor was great, but the coffee was lukewarm at best. When I order hot coffee I want it hot.. No real cream or half and half at condiment station is a total let down as far as a coffee shop is concerned. I had to use the restroom and it was not stocked well. There was no toilet paper, and the trash can was totally overflowing and needed to be emptied. There was a true bright spot though. I've tried several drinks including the frozen southern pecan, King cake, and bananas foster. Out of the red bull energy drinks (my boyfriend's go-to), I've tried dragon fruit and blue coconut blast. Theyre all pretty good, but my all time favorite is the frozen southern pecan. I prefer the frozen drinks over the iced ones because I feel like you get more volume (versus too much ice in the iced drinks) and yea they are $1.40 more. I like that they also have new limited time flavors. 4 stars since I wish the drinks were a bit cheaper. $7.90 for a frozen 24oz medium drink ($6.50 for iced). I will sometimes try to use the "buy any 16oz drink, get a second 1/2 off" coupon on the back of HEB receipts. The workers are all super nice and helpful. Don't forget to download the app or provide them with your phone # for points and rewards. Plenty of parking but drive-thru is also fast and convenient. read more

I stopped by for a quick coffee, and it wasn't busy, which was nice. Since it had been a while since my last visit, it took me a minute to decide what I wanted. I ordered the white chocolate latte with cold foam, but unfortunately it didn't taste like white chocolate at all, and it was missing the cold foam. Lots of options here for a cute coffee shop! Pastries, beignets, sandwiches, they have it all! Favorite is the turkey sausage eggs and cheese breakfast sandwich. They always offer to warm up anything. I bring my customers beignets all the time and they all LOVE them and beg me to bring more every time! They take a while to make because they make them fresh but it is so worth it! I have called ahead before to have them start to make them if I am ordering a bunch. The ambiance of this place is very nice. I could easily see myself bringing my laptop in and getting some work done while enjoying some coffee. The service is neither here nor there. It's average. Not very informative, especially when you have questions about things. The coffee itself is great. Taste-wise it checks all of the boxes. My only complaint would be the sizing and pricing. It's a bit pricey for the amount you get. Will definitely be back to try out other items, get a bag of beans for home and to enjoy the cozy seating inside. read more

This is a brand new coffee shop near the Riverpark shopping complex. Nola based, chain restaurant, offering Arabica coffee drinks and light pastries and sandwiches including beignets and stuffed croissants. Loved that they have a drive through. Tried the Honey Oatmilk Latte and loved the smoothness and flavor, just the right mix of caffeine and sweetness for me. Hubs tried the Caramel Crème Latte and while he really enjoyed this it was overwhelmingly sweet for me. We also got an order of beignets and a spinach feta croissant to go. Beignets were good, hubby enjoyed them although more dense than usual. But definitely a good pairing w coffee regardless. The spinach feta croissant was really tasty, braided croissant style so you can see the filling. The dough was crispy yet flaky and the stuffing was definitely reminiscent of a good spanakopita. BUT there really was an off putting odor w the pastry maybe bc of the feta being warmed and so I wouldn't try this again. Even my husband noticed the smell and he wasn't eating it. Service at drive through was friendly, but a little "bland" (?). We had to inquire about the loyalty program, drink specials and recommendations etc. No extra info was given. I would definitely return just for the honey oatmilk latte bc overall I really prefer this coffee over others in the area (ahem Dutch brothers). Also plan to check out the interior which seemed to be quite spacious and clean from what I saw from the outside. Plenty of parking and away from the busier shopping complex in RiverPark so definitely a plus for customers. I hope more people start noticing this business as it can be easy to drive past. read more

Service was friendly but it took a while for my drinks to come out. It came out way after the people behind me ordered and almost finished their frozen drinks. A buddy of mine introduced me to PJ's Coffee earlier this week. We needed to meet up for some work and he thought I'd like this spot...he was right. It's dope! Service was great. Everyone working that morning was very helpful and even encouraged me to go slow with the coffee. Of course I didn't listen and MAN! I should have listened. It was tooooo large but it was toooo good. Next time I'll go down a size. Food was yum!!! These beignets were very tasty!! Like very, very tasty. I will be coming back for these. Vibe was cool. Plenty of spots to work and the Wifi was fast. I've been meaning to visit this coffee shop and I'm glad they opened one in my area. Their interior, including their restrooms, was clean. There's a good number of seating with some comfy sofas in the front area. When I arrived, the staff was very nice and answered all of my questions, since it was my first time at a PJ's. I saw that their fall drinks had already rolled out this week. So, I had to try it out. I ordered their iced Pumpkin Sweet Cold Foam with Pumpkin Cold Brew. It was pretty good. I could taste the pumpkin spice. But, it was a bit too sweet, and it didn't have enough caffeination for me. It did remind me of Starbucks' PSL, though. I also got their beignets for takeout, since I wasn't far from home, and the beignets were made to order. Man, these were messy. They were in a box, but I should've asked for a bag to put the box in as well. Powdered sugar all up in my car. Next time, I'll just bring my family to eat these beignets on-site. But, the beignets were warm and delicious. Soft, fluffy, and not too sweet from the powdered sugar. There was a nice slightly salty finish from the beignet dough. Being from New Orleans, I'm a fan of PJs coffee. Not sure I will return even though I literally live in the neighborhood next door. The reason is the utter lack of friendliness. I attempted to talk to the gentleman at the register about how I would spend time in PJs in NOLA when I was in college and how much I enjoyed it. He literally said nothing. Not a single word. I felt like an idiot standing there trying to make a connection only to be ignored. This is not the NOLA hospitality I'm used to, that's for sure. The store is clean and the colors are muted but nice. My husband said the sausage & cheese bagel was good. The chocolate croissant was crispy and tasty. I had the bananas foster roasted coffee; hot, black. It was good. Husband liked the cold brew iced coffee he had. I really wish I had a better experience here it's hard to choose to spend money at businesses that make you feel bad. read more

Thanks to a fellow Yelper, I found out about this grand opening for PJ's Coffee near the Sugar Land area. Parking wasn't hard to find in the lot and there was a drive-thru if you didn't want to order inside. Waiting for my coffee took awhile but I wasn't surprised and didn't mind the wait. The staff was giving out some freebies like stickers, masks, and sample coffee bags. Inside was very spacious and the decor was chic and comfy. You can tell the establishment is very proud of its New Orleans origins. Wi-Fi inside also worked really fast. I got to try a sample of the beignets which were okay, tasted plain and not mind-blowing. The coffee, however, was fantastic. I'm usually a tea drinker, but I can appreciate a well brewed Viennese blend. Overall, a nice coffee shop with friendly service and great drinks. read more

Literally the worst service & customer interaction I've seen since they opened under new management. Latte tasted like it was made from water. Ordered ahead on website; selected blueberry syrup for my latte. Got there, the coffee looked like poo water. Then I am told "we don't have blueberry syrup, do you want blue raspberry?" I said "okay it was on your list" and she replies "yeah a lot of syrups are online that we don't have" The interaction just got worse & worse from there. I had to repeat things to her multiple times while she just stared at the ground. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence because being a manager of a retail establishment for 8 years, I would not tolerate this type of interaction by my employees. read more

I have been here many times...however, every time I went in the place there is a strong burning smell (unlike what you experience from other coffee shops it is either coffee or bakery smell).
