First visit to Tree House Coffee and I already know I'll be back. The customer service was excellent and the whole concept is honestly just really cute and welcoming. I kept it simple with a caramel macchiato and it was really good. Smooth texture, great coffee flavor, and just the right amount of caramel without being overly sweet. I also noticed they have a nice variety of teas and yogurts, which makes it feel like a great spot whether you want coffee or something lighter. Good coffee is easy to find. Came at around 3pm on a Saturday and there was no line. Seating was also easy to find. Service was very friendly and helpful, right off the bat. I prefer my coffee on the sweeter side and asked how sweet a specific drink would be. The barista let me know that they can make my drink sweeter if I wasn't happy with the sweetness level. I ended up doing that and they were very nice and quick in making the adjustment. I only got to try two drinks here, but the service is what stuck out to me and greatly improved my experience. COOKIE BUTTER ICED LATTE: It wasn't sweet enough for me so they adjusted the drink to my liking, at no extra cost. After that, I really liked the drink. Good cookie butter flavor! CA PHE SUA DA (Vietnamese Iced Coffee): I saw other reviews mention that this wasn't an authentic Vietnamese iced coffee in terms of flavor (which I found surprising because it's written in Vietnamese on the menu), but my partner is obsessed with them so he couldn't resist. We can confirm that it isn't authentic. We could tell as soon as it came out. It was very light in color, and authentic Vietnamese iced coffee should look almost chocolatey in color. It was much sweeter and had a much weaker coffee flavor than it should have. The hallmark of a good Vietnamese iced coffee is that strong, specific coffee flavor (think Cafe Du Monde, iykyk). It's not normal American coffee or espresso. There's a specific coffee flavor you're expecting in a Vietnamese iced coffee and this one tasted like they used normal American coffee/espresso. It was definitely Americanized. It wasn't bad, but it tasted and looked like sweet coffee milk. And when you're expecting a Vietnamese iced coffee, it's a let down. If you know what their version tastes like when you order, it'll be good. It's just not a Vietnamese iced coffee. read more

Every time I stop by here I like to get the 1885, it's a mix of Dr.Pepper and espresso. The portions are equally matched with it not being to much soda or espresso, it's pretty equal. I would recommend this if you're a fan of Dr.Pepper and coffee since it's the best of both. There's plenty of seating and the drinks are always out pretty quick. read more

5/5 Service was great and fast. The shop felt pretty Americanized so I was hesitant at first since I was craving a matcha latte or Vietnamese coffee. Gave it a shot anyway since it on my way to work and I'm glad I did! Iced matcha latte with oat milk, lightly sweetened. Oat milk was an extra $1.25. I passed on the Vietnamese coffee since it wasn't traditional drip style and probably made with an espresso machine. The interior is cozy with plenty of seating to study or get work done. Service was fast! I ordered and sat within 5 minutes. There is around 15 people with or seating inside and outlets around the wall. Interior is very cute and homey feeling. A lot of windows with natural lighting. There is also WiFi so it is a cute place to just hang out. The area around is a strip mall and it was really accessible from I-10. Because it's in a strip mall, there is also a lot of parking to hang out. I got an Ice latte for a pretty reasonable price! There were a lot options for the syrups also ranging from lavender to cookie butter. Otherwise drinks are pretty standard with hot and cold coffees and tea. Family friendly place to gather for an after dinner treat. Showed up around 8 pm and plenty of people still around. I let the lady at the front know this was our first time so needed some time, and she immediately gave us 4 little cups to test the froyo. Ended up with the hazelnut and chocolate to create a ferrero rocher feel and was pleased by the result. As others have said, the froyo seemed of high quality and there were ample toppings available. Why 5 stars? Because the nitro was perfect. --- --- --- I have probably been to close to 100 coffee shops where all I do is order a black nitro and that's the end of my experience. I usually don't write a review when that's the case because, it feels weird to basically just say, "5-stars, the nitro was awesome." But you know what? The nitro truly was perfect. So smooth, so easy to drink - everything I hope for. As a bonus, it was in the same parking lot as where we'd just eaten lunch, so bonus points for that random convenience. We live nowhere near here, but if I'm ever back in the area and needing caffeine, I'm stopping in. I have known about this coffee house for quite some time, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. This spot, nestled in an interesting shopping center, has a rare neighborhood feel. Before visiting, I inquired about the Matcha Latte over the phone, and the guy who answered was very helpful with respect to explaining various coffee options. I settled on the Matcha Latte, which was made with oat milk and lightly sweetened. I'd rate this drink a 5/5. The Reese's cookie also rates a 5/5. Both were delicious. The counter service was good. You have the option to sit outdoors or inside, and I chose to sit outside - it was a beautiful, sunny day! The hot cappucinno had very little carbs so I rewarded myself with a very tasty carby oatmeal raisin cookie. Life is good! I was around the memorial area and was looking for a morning coffee spot. I found Tree House on yelp and decided to give it a shot. The storefront is located in a local plaza with other miscellaneous stores. The cafe itself is small and cozy with not much seating for those that want to do work. I ordered an Iced lavender latte (my go-to). I was pleasantly surprised with my drink. The espresso shot was well pulled with a delectable nutty flavor (just how I like it). The lavender tasted fresh and paired well into the latte. I enjoyed sipping on this latte throughout the day. If you are ever in the area, definitely give tree house a try! Whenever im looking for a coffeehouse with not just good drinks but makes for a good chill vibe, this is the type of coffee shop that I want. They have regular table seating, large table seating, booth seating and sofas. I love those! Different seatings for different needs. They also have a few chairs and tables outside. This place not only sells coffee, teas, & pastries, but they also have frozen yogurt. I saw many families enjoying their drinks here and playing games that they offered here. I also saw a group meetup here. I tried one of their baristas favorite which was the strawberry matcha with oat milk. It was nice but I decided to add a little more sweetener to it and the staff was very accommodating. This is definitely a lovely cozy spot. read more

Tree house is my favorite spot for frozen yogurt. I've had their drinks and desserts before, which are great too, but what keeps me coming back is the froyo. They have a variety of flavors to choose from, but I'm devoted to the simply tart and strawberry tart. Their selection of toppings is solid - they have fresh fruit, mochi, boba, gummy worms, sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc. My sister and I's cups combined equaled to 1.15 lbs, and our total came out to $12.70. Throughly enjoyed every ounce of it, and the sweet toppings meshed so well with the tart flavors. The inside is small yet cozy. They have one longer table in the back, a few booths to the side, a sofa and cushioned chairs, and some small tables near the front of the shop. They have a couple of board games in the back as well! I swung by Tree House on Memorial Dr and it feels super chill--cozy corners, booths, good for meeting up or working. I ordered their Nitro and also tried the Chai Latte on a later visit. The nitro was smooth, pleasant. The chai latte was nice--balanced, not overly sweet. The frozen yogurt is very much real, and it seems to be a big draw with families and students (I heard about this place from my teenage daughter). They rotate flavors and have toppings etc. The rest of their menu matches expectations: classic espresso drinks, cold-brewed/iced options, smoothies, etc. And yes, free WiFi, outlets, parking--basic but got all the details right for a solid coffee stop. read more

Went here because the reviews raving about the matcha and the coffee. I had high hopes because the place was fairly packed and they had Vietnamese names as their specials. To our surprise that wasn't AT ALL the case. My husband ordered the Ca phe sua da and when we got the drink it looked and tasted more like milk and sugar than the traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. My husband asked if this was his correct drink and the barista said that "their version is more americanized" and she said if he wants to make it stronger by adding another shot it would be an extra charge... the customer service could've been better by informing us in the beginning that it won't be a traditional strong Vietnamese coffee. We ended up getting a refund and they snatched his coffee after the refund went through. read more

Tree house is a wonderful little coffee shop with lovely staff and many options of food and drink with an added bonus of frozen yogurt options, unlike a traditional coffee shop. The interior is quite cozy and there is outside seating as well. On a weekday evening, it can be a bit crowded due to many students studying there, but I found a little corner to do work and appreciated the ample electricity outlets. The chai latte was well balanced with spice and sugar and provided a warm and comforting feeling as I powered through my readings. It did not taste artificial nor was it overly sweet. I also appreciated the music choice played that night, which was a nice blend of American pop and tracks by Asian artists, so thank you for whomever put that playlist on! read more

Stop by this coffee shop pretty often but finally able to review it. Came in at 12:52pm on a Tuesday. Employee was extremely helpful and nice! I ordered a mango & wild berry 16oz smoothie. Total was $5.25 and they also have a reward system. They offer everything from coffee, tea, cold drinks, smoothies and frozen yogurt with topping station. Restrooms are clean and decent. Not much seating, just enough. Outdoor seating as well is offered. They offer free WiFi as well but change the password so often. Very nice place to come and work or study. A cozy coffee shop with plenty of parking in a big strip mall. I went here at around 8:30AM on a weekday because my power went out and I needed somewhere to work with caffeine. Only 12oz drinks are served in a cup for dining in. I got a 16oz cappuccino that I appreciate they still did latte art despite it having a cover. My drink was served pretty quickly. There was a pleasant, almost nutty flavor that I enjoyed. There are two booths, a few tables of various sizes, and a sofa seating area. Most tables are near outlets. I'm a local who's loved this fro-yo spot forever, hitting it up with my family like it's a ritual. The yogurt's fantastic, but the service? A total letdown. Rudeness is standard, especially after 9:00 PM (they close at 9:30). Snarky looks and bad attitudes make you feel unwelcome, taking up toppings and closing down machines, clapping and loudly making passive aggressive comments to her employees, and it's happened too many times. Usually from the same employee. Last night was the final straw. My brother broke his collarbone, and after a long ER visit, he just wanted fro-yo. We arrived before 9:30, but the doors were locked five minutes early (we expected the attitude but this was a new level). I knocked, pointed out their posted hours, and Yamen (or so she said her name was), the consistently rude employee, snapped, "We're closed!" I said this keeps happening and I'd leave a bad review. Her reply? "I don't care! Are you that greedy for frozen yogurt? I'll tell my manager!" Greedy? For expecting a business to stay open as advertised? Other customers pulled up, which I shared the disappoint news with. I worked service jobs in high school and college--I get it, late nights are tough. But locking up early and treating loyal customers disrespectfully? That's unacceptable. Yamen's attitude is dragging this place down. Bring back the neighborhood sweet spot, or this place lost our family's business. read more

The employees asked if we wanted to go sit elsewhere.. I said, we'd prefer to sit at this table. She said to move out of the seats so she can wipe the table down. They have a variety amount of drinks and something else that's diff that caught my eye was the Japanese cold brew which I will try next time. I would have rated this place better had the experience not ended the way it did. We walked in and were greeted well and given sample cups for the yogurt. All was fine despite the staff in their corner together laughing and having fun with no real attention to the customers. We (two couples) sat down and were enjoying the time together when at 9:30pm promptly, the young Asian lady yelled out loud, "it's 9:30 and we are closed!" She then walked up to us and stopped us in mid discussion to tell us it was time to leave because they were now closed. Not sure if the owners intend for this to be a place to hang out and enjoy or not, but clearly the staff was having nothing to do with that. They're currently offering brown sugar boba popsicle. Not really my cup of tea but if you're interested you should come and try it out. I ordered the iced earl gray tea and man, that tea is strong! Super aromatic, very strong bergamot flavor, quite bitter, and it was the caffeine boost I needed. I requested the tea to be sweetened. They put very little sugar into it so just FYI. I'm not complaining though since I love bitter tea. My bf ordered their nitro with milk. It was just ok to him. The coffee was more on the bitter side. Service was fairly quick. It was a charming coffee shop. I had a blueberry hibiscus tea drink and explored the frozen yogurt section. I drank my tea on the way home and at home. Very tasty! And they were able to reduce the sweetness level in it to my liking. If I had more time, I would have liked hanging out and observing the crowd. The service was nice from what I encountered. My only complaint is that the front door entrance is maybe 3-4 feet from where you order drinks. There were two people in front of me in line, and the lady in front of me did not even move an inch when I opened the door. I wanted to say something to her to move over so I wasn't up against the door but figured she knew what she was doing. Anyways, that was my only negative observation.
