My husband followed this truck on social media so we finally had a chance to try it when it came to the Humble area. They may have changed their process by now but for our visit we ordered in advance but still had to wait in line with people who hadn't. Also my husband ordered the Ube flavor but they were out of it by the time we reached the window which felt like it defeated our intention to ensure he could get it by ordering ahead. He was offered something else and I don't think they adjusted the price difference either. Despite this we enjoyed the funnel cakes and would go back if it is near us and we knew some of the challenges we had wouldn't occur.
Super delicious and super filling. I ordered the peach cobbler funnel cake which was good. I wish the peaches were diced so it'd be a little easier to eat. My partner ordered the strawberry cheesecake one which I actually preferred once I tasted it lol but both were good. The portion sizes are huge, I could barely finish the mini albeit I had eaten dinner before.
I finally got to try this place! I was so happy! I got the ube funnel cake which had cheesecake bites and Uber drizzle which was good however the star of the show to me was the Diddy Kong (it's a banana pudding with biscoff cookie butter and cheesecake bites? I think) it was delicious. A 10/10 for me and I WILL come back.
Visited for the second time and tried the tuxedo with my boyfriend. We got a regular and the serving size was still a lot with both of us sharing. The funnel cake was moist and the toppings paired perfectly with it. I took the chocolate syrup off and it was still rich in flavor. Service was great. I would definitely recommend

Their customer service and presentation was already top tier but the funnel cake set it off. They had music playing and the vibe was great. The staff have such beautiful personalities. Pro tip, follow them on social media or check out the website to find out their schedule and location. They have a variety of options and you will likely want to order one of everything. I opted for the Strawberry cheesecake funnel. Absolutely delicious! It was funnel cake, topped with vanilla ice cream, chunks of cheesecake, whipped cream, and strawberries. Highly recommend!
BEST Funnel cakes ever! This food truck features one thing and they do it well! Their menu has lots of different funnel cakes to choose from, I've had their peach cobbler, cookie butter, ube and strawberry cheesecake. Each variation is so yummy and presented in such a fun way. The service is always timely and the staff is very friendly and provide a fun experience. Only downside is having to wait until the food truck is in a location near me since they are constantly in different areas of Houston.

BUT, I later realized they are a good truck and move around so check their Instagram to make sure you know where they will be. Soooo good! I literally didn't know what to choose because they had so many cute creative options. I got the QUEEN KONG..yummy. The truck was parked in an open lot, and it was also a DJ there a few steps down with their own set up - it was a vibe for sure. They post upcoming locations on their IG, that's how we knew where to meet them. It was a seating area there if you wanted to chill, we took ours to-go and the transport was easy. No spills, no mess..just simply closed my box! Service was TOP tier & everybody was pleasant.

And even after about 15 minutes (because I had to travel elsewhere), most of the funnel cake was still crispy. Fresh, crispy funnel cake + powdered sugar + vanilla(?) ice cream + whipped cream + strawberries! Who could ask for more? I enjoyed every single bite with my friends. I've been eyeing this pop up since it started popping up on my newsfeed last year! It's main location is in EaDo but they go to other events as well! I would definitely come back but not often because of the price. Funnel Cake: 4 Honestly, I was ready to be disappointed because even though the mix of ice cream and funnel cake sounds amazing I thought the ice-cream would make the funnel cake soggy. However, the funnel cake still had a crunch to it even when the ice-cream melted so it was still really good! You could tell that the funnel cake was fried perfectly! I had the cookie-monster and it wasn't overwhelming sweet like I had imagined! I was able to finish it all in one setting and didn't have a sugar crash! While I did love it, the funnel cake was $10 which is a bit pricy. However, considering that regular funnel cake at the baseball stadium is around that amount and not fried as well the price is reasonable. Staff: 5 The staff was really efficient. I got my funnel cake in less than 10 mins even though it was made fresh and there were several people in front of me. Tips: 1. Eat the ice cream right away. I thought I could eat half then drive to UH to finish it (5 minute drive) but there was a pool of ice cream when I arrived.
Yaay for the funnel bar food truck finally being in my jurisdiction! Of course after you finish a run what do you need?? Funnel cake and ice cream! I walk over post workout and ordered the strawtella funnelcake. Yummy! Very very good and a large portion. I ordered the small but it had weight okay! Staff were friendly and the service was quick! You get a little buzzer that notifies you that your order is ready! They have so many varieties to choose from and shakes! I'm def checking them out again if they are on my side of town read more

Went to EaDo for dessert and this place was SO GOOD!!! Quick made to order funnel cakes. Lots of options so it was hard to choose but so yummy. read more
They did a pop up in Pearland on yesterday and it did not disappoint!!! My daughter and I shared a Salted Caramel funnel cake. When they advertise that they are coming. Arrive early and order online!!! I will definitely take my mother when she comes to town to try this heavenly dish!!! read more

The Funnel Bar is offering a unique product with many delicious flavors! The online ordering is easy/convenient. The cakes don't travel too well, which is tough, since many of the traveling locations are not convenient for eating on-site. The cakes were still delicious when we ate them 30 minutes after pick-up, but they get had just lost any crispiness of the fried funnel cake. I would definitely go back, because my Oreo funnel cake was DELICIOUS... but I would just try to eat on-site next time. read more

My family lives funnel cakes. I've been seeing ig posts from the funnel batr and have wanted to try them for a long time. We finally went on my birthday. We ordered ahead of time online and scheduled a pick up time. They were super nice when we picked up the order. The funnel cakes were crispy and sweet. It was a super hot day so our icecream melted quickly but every funnel cake we had was delicious. We ordered the strawberry and the apple pie and a regular. They had covered areas for patrons to sit and eat. We just popped up the back of our sequoia and "tailgated" in the parking lot. I can't wait to try out some other flavors. read more

We recently had The Funnel Bar come to our office for a corporate event. They were absolutely phenomenal! Travis, Sasha and team were all friendly and welcoming and the food spoke for itself. First off when I visit houston my favorite pastime is to eat!! Found this place after looking for dessert, they did not steal me wrong. This dish was absolutely wonderful, I eat the entire mini size!! Wish we had something like this in Chicago. I will recommend over and over again. This food truck is official. Took the fam here Friday evening to kick off the weekend, and have dessert first. They were setup at an apartment complex, and despite the rainy weather they still kicked things off timely. I like that they have many options for toppings, and sizes. Of course I went for the biggest one but simplest "sugar momma". The kiddos went for more fun options and we all enjoyed them. The service friendly and fast. I definitely will return. read more

This place was so delicious i was looking on Yelp for a good ole funnel cake and came across , The funnel Bar looked up the pop up location and found it was near eado off Rusk St. The funnel cakes are super delightful crisp to perfection they have a few toppings as well , totally recommend if your in the mood for something sweet and savory !! . I'm not ashamed to say that I'm writing this review with sticky fingers and a smile! ... forgive the delay, I needed another bite Anyway, I visited the EADO location because the Instagram post popped up and drew me here. The line to place my order moved quickly, the young lady who took my order was very friendly, and the wait wasn't bad at all! ... hold up... one more bite... So let's get into this funnel cake. So I ordered Simone's Cobbler and I'm soooooooo glad I did. Idk whose grandmother's recipe was used to create this, but it was a blessing. Warm peach cobbler topped with ice cream and whipped cream all on top of a funnel cake? Pure happiness. My taste buds actually danced. Seriously, from salsa to zydeco to the wobble... they danced! I sat in my car and devoured it because it smelled too good to wait. I really enjoyed that the funnel cake was cooked well especially with all of the toppings. Bottom line: it's good. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself. I'd follow them on IG so you'll be able to see where they are. Hopefully, they'll be on my side of town soon. read more
I was like what is all the fuss about....oh well now I know it's these fresh crispy flavorful and amazing toppings on a funnel cake. With the order online and give your number when you arrive it insures less contact thank you for the extra steps. My daughter doesn't drive outside the area or on the interstate much but when she realized this truck was located in Eado just opposite direction on the same exit we go to church well she goes on her own each week that they are there and I'm certain once church resumes in person this will be our after service stop before brunch read more

I've been eyeing this place for a few months now and finally decided to give it a try . I loved how you were able to preorder your funnel cake and select your time slot . Once I arrived to the location I was early and let them know I arrived. My order came may 5-10 mins later than my scheduled pick up time which was not an issue. Great customer service and they are truly practicing good measures to ensure contactless delivery due to COVID. Due to the ice cream it's truly meant to eat in the parking lot then drive home one you have completed it . It was SOOO good and I will definitely return ! read more
