My husband followed this truck on social media so we finally had a chance to try it when it came to the Humble area. They may have changed their process by now but for our visit we ordered in advance but still had to wait in line with people who hadn't. Also my husband ordered the Ube flavor but they were out of it by the time we reached the window which felt like it defeated our intention to ensure he could get it by ordering ahead. He was offered something else and I don't think they adjusted the price difference either. Despite this we enjoyed the funnel cakes and would go back if it is near us and we knew some of the challenges we had wouldn't occur.

Super delicious and super filling. I ordered the peach cobbler funnel cake which was good. I wish the peaches were diced so it'd be a little easier to eat. My partner ordered the strawberry cheesecake one which I actually preferred once I tasted it lol but both were good. The portion sizes are huge, I could barely finish the mini albeit I had eaten dinner before.

I finally got to try this place! I was so happy! I got the ube funnel cake which had cheesecake bites and Uber drizzle which was good however the star of the show to me was the Diddy Kong (it's a banana pudding with biscoff cookie butter and cheesecake bites? I think) it was delicious. A 10/10 for me and I WILL come back.

Visited for the second time and tried the tuxedo with my boyfriend. We got a regular and the serving size was still a lot with both of us sharing. The funnel cake was moist and the toppings paired perfectly with it. I took the chocolate syrup off and it was still rich in flavor. Service was great. I would definitely recommend

This is a must try yall. They had been on my bucket list for quite some time now and it was worth the wait. Their customer service and presentation was already top tier but the funnel cake set it off. They had music playing and the vibe was great. The staff have such beautiful personalities. Keep up the good work and I pray you all succeed in all you set out to accomplish. I can't wait to enjoy another one and collab on the photography aspect of things. -Bre w/ BeeJay's Photography

If you are looking for a decadent and delicious treat--look no further than The Funnel Bar! I visited when their truck came to my neighborhood for an outdoor festival. Pro tip, follow them on social media or check out the website to find out their schedule and location. They have a variety of options and you will likely want to order one of everything. I opted for the Strawberry cheesecake funnel. Absolutely delicious! It was funnel cake, topped with vanilla ice cream, chunks of cheesecake, whipped cream, and strawberries. Highly recommend!

BEST Funnel cakes ever! This food truck features one thing and they do it well! Their menu has lots of different funnel cakes to choose from, I've had their peach cobbler, cookie butter, ube and strawberry cheesecake. Each variation is so yummy and presented in such a fun way. The service is always timely and the staff is very friendly and provide a fun experience. Only downside is having to wait until the food truck is in a location near me since they are constantly in different areas of Houston.

Their truck moves around town. They are very friendly. Funnel cakes were OK . Sorry but I had better ones.

Omg! First of the concept of a funnel cake food truck is absolute genius. I'm writing this review and craving them now. I was visiting Houston when they popped up as a nearby dessert option and the pictures and reviews had me sold. BUT, I later realized they are a good truck and move around so check their Instagram to make sure you know where they will be. Anyway, I got the strawberry cheesecake w/ ice cream and added caramel drizzle. The funnel cake was so fresh, fluffy, perfectly crunchy.. I was in funnel cake heaven. I got the regular which I soon realized was a LOT.. so I'd honestly recommend a mini. My mom got the mini salted caramel and added chocolate drizzle and hers was just as phenomenal! Order ahead is recommended, but the service is friendly and they mo

Soooo good! I literally didn't know what to choose because they had so many cute creative options. I got the QUEEN KONG..yummy. The truck was parked in an open lot, and it was also a DJ there a few steps down with their own set up - it was a vibe for sure. They post upcoming locations on their IG, that's how we knew where to meet them. It was a seating area there if you wanted to chill, we took ours to-go and the transport was easy. No spills, no mess..just simply closed my box! Service was TOP tier & everybody was pleasant.

This is the best funnel cake I've ever had! Fresh out is the best time to eat it up. The wait wasn't long. And even after about 15 minutes (because I had to travel elsewhere), most of the funnel cake was still crispy. Fresh, crispy funnel cake + powdered sugar + vanilla(?) ice cream + whipped cream + strawberries! Who could ask for more? I enjoyed every single bite with my friends. It is a similar feeling to when Remy from Ratouille added grapes and cheese together haha AND it wasn't too sweet

I've been eyeing this pop up since it started popping up on my newsfeed last year! It's main location is in EaDo but they go to other events as well! I would definitely come back but not often because of the price. Funnel Cake: 4 Honestly, I was ready to be disappointed because even though the mix of ice cream and funnel cake sounds amazing I thought the ice-cream would make the funnel cake soggy. However, the funnel cake still had a crunch to it even when the ice-cream melted so it was still really good! You could tell that the funnel cake was fried perfectly! I had the cookie-monster and it wasn't overwhelming sweet like I had imagined! I was able to finish it all in one setting and didn't have a sugar crash! While I did love it, the funnel cake was $10 which is a bit pricy. However, considering that regular funnel cake at the baseball stadium is around that amount and not fried as well the price is reasonable. Staff: 5 The staff was really efficient. I got my funnel cake in less than 10 mins even though it was made fresh and there were several people in front of me. Tips: 1. Eat the ice cream right away. I thought I could eat half then drive to UH to finish it (5 minute drive) but there was a pool of ice cream when I arrived.

Went to EaDo for dessert and this place was SO GOOD!!! Quick made to order funnel cakes. Lots of options so it was hard to choose but so yummy.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

You're paying for the K-Pop Demon Hunter pop-up aesthetic, the upbeat vibes, the fast service, the themed menu. The desserts? Solid. The Pinky Up Parfait hits. One scoop of cappuccino ice cream comes generous and tasty. Nothing disappoints. But nothing revolutionizes dessert either. This is good execution in service of a limited time experience, not destination-level pastry work. And that's fine. That's exactly what a pop-up should be. The real draw is that everything works together. Vibe, music, service, and desserts that don't let the side down. It feels fun, not gimmicky. That's harder to pull off than you'd think. Bottom line. Pop-ups don't stick around. If the K-Pop theme is your thing and you want solid desserts in a fun environment, go now. If you're just looking for great desserts, permanent spots do it better.

We all liked the harry potter experience and some different anime type experiences as well that my children liked. The foods and drinks are on theme and although it's not cheap, it's definitely not as much as Disneyland. We came on the weekends, but during lunchtime, and I can see how they might be really busy during the dinner rush. Sometimes you might need a timed entry to go in, but thankfully, we have not since we've been going. I will say that it's quite small and gets cramped really fast. What's nudged this place up to 5 stars for me is they have really improved their coffee game, specifically their quality of cappuccino's. Previously it seemed more of latte, but now to me its a legit Capp. Their choice of pastries hasn't changed, which gives you a good assortment of choices and they have added an additional barista or server which also is a nice touch for service. The only niggling items, parking can be tough, so you'll have to either walk a block or be quick to find a place close by. I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. Inside, it's filled with a strawberry cream and has a chocolate base. I just wish there was more chocolate in this one. They have plenty of seating inside as well as along the sidewalk. Inside you have the more fancy tables, whereas outside, they're more weather resistant and not as upscale in appearance. The soft drinks to drink along with your sweets are in a cold case along the hotel side of the space and you just take them to the register as you order. One of the most surprising things when you come here are the relatively affordable prices as you might expect them to be more for being a coffee shop attached to a 5-star hotel with a helipad.

Since we were already in the area after breakfast at TJ's Filipino Cuisine, we finally got the chance to stop by and try their baked goods for ourselves. We arrived early, so the bakery wasn't too busy yet. The bakers were busy prepping more goodies in the back while my cousin and I browsed all the Filipino baked goods we really miss from back home in the Philippines. They even had suman, sapin-sapin, biko, and other kakanin, which was nice to see. I specifically looked for the chicken empanada, and my cousin wanted to try the ube white chocolate chip cookie. We also saw different kinds of siopao and planned to come back later to buy some before heading back to San Antonio. We tried the ube white chocolate chip cookie first, but honestly we weren't totally satisfied. It tasted more like a regular white chocolate chip cookie with purple coloring and didn't really have much ube flavor. I also tried the chicken empanada. My cousin didn't like it because it was sweeter than expected--we were both expecting it to be savory. There seemed to be caramelized sugar in the outside of the pastry, which probably added to the sweetness. I still like it, though it was definitely sweeter than what I'm used to. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada is still my favorite. Later that day before leaving Houston, we came back for the siopao we planned to take home. We finally decided to just buy a couple pieces for ourselves, heat them up in the bakery, and try them fresh. When we saw the price for a four-pack, we were honestly disappointed. It felt expensive for the size. The siopao wasn't huge, and while I like the dough, there wasn't much chicken filling inside. For the portion, taste, and quality, it felt overpriced. Overall, it's probably not worth making another trip back for us. We did enjoy the cassava ube suman, and I like the chicken empanada, but not enough to drive all the way to Houston just for those. If I live nearby, I might come back to try other baked goods, but based on this visit, I'm not sure the rest would impress my palate. I still give them credit for cleanliness and customer service, although we did notice fruit flies on one of the shelves and reported it. The staff was friendly, and the bakery itself was welcoming. At the end of the day, since they're a bakery, the expectation is great-tasting, quality, mouthwatering Filipino breads, pastries ", and kakanin. While some items were enjoyable, overall it just didn't quite live up to the hype for us.

There used to be one Cinnaholic in Austin, but sadly it closed down about a year or two ago. It was my favorite place to go to get cinnamon rolls. So you know that if I'm in the area of Houston, I have to make a stop. Lots of parking. I got the Biscoff cinnamon roll and my husband got the Irish coffee and cream cinnamon roll. I was a little bit underwhelmed with the Biscoff one to be honest. When I first cut into it, it was so thick and bready that I got confused for a second and said "um... where's the cinnamon? Is this just bread??" Eventually I DID get to the cinnamon part though. But that outer layer was all bread. Perhaps it was how bready it was or that I found the toppings slightly underwhelming but... yeah. Still yummy though but not my fav. My husbands though - his was amazing! But also incredibly rich. I saw a pic of a peach cobbler one of here and it looked phenomenal. Perhaps that'll be my next one. Regardless, we gobbled them both down and had no issues. Would def come back when in the area.
