This place was absolutely amazing. Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. The cone was so fresh. The milk and cereal tasted so good like it was just an amazing time. I would definitely be back Every time I'm in Houston Andie was amazing patient and service was top tier! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the cute little atmosphere and the giant window so you can watch the cars driving by.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Super cute spot. The ice cream options were many and interesting. Tried the front loop cereal and it was exactly what your kid dreams are made of. Also tried the seasonal blueberry and lemon and it was delicious. Great quality and friendly service. Dreaming of trying out all the other flavors

Definitely my favorite spot to end the night after dinner. Always good and never disappoints. Milk + Sugar offers a wide variety of unique flavors and rotating monthly seasonal flavors. Thai Tea is one of my favorites. They offer cups and waffle cones. You can even split half and half flavors in your cup if you're feeling indecisive! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have private parking and large tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a must-try in Houston in my opinion!

Milk + Sugar is a staple dessert spot for my family for a reason. They offer unique and delicious flavors that you cannot find anywhere else in Houston. My go-to ice cream flavors are cereal milk, strawberry almond cheesecake, happy wife, and yum cha. Their ice cream is smooth, rich, and decadent. The mix-ins are not only tasty and add great texture, but they also complement and enhance the overall flavor profile of the ice cream. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop has a simple interior with a couple of long tables where customers can sit and enjoy their cold treats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is welcoming, friendly, and generous with the samples. If you are looking to indulge in ice cream with flavors beyond the traditional, I highly recommend Milk + Sugar!

Yum cha - pandan and chrysanthemum (left), Thai tea (right)

I ordered scoops of the yum cha (chrysanthemum and pandan) and Thai tea ice cream and really enjoyed both! I'm so glad the yum cha is a permanent flavor now. The pandan part of the yum cha was better than the chrysanthemum, but both were good. It was smoother and melted a lot faster than the Thai tea. The Thai tea was rich, thick, and slightly grainy but not in a bothersome way. It had a nice amount of Thai tea flavor. Both ice creams were pretty sweet (as expected). The service was fast and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have some long tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's also Lactaid pills you can buy for 50 cents. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a little dark at night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is a small parking lot behind the building and street parking.

Everyone should come here at least once. Their flavors are so unique and refreshing. They are mostly east Asian inspired. I had a hard time choosing between them. I ended up getting a panda/ chrysanthemum and happy wife with a cone on top. The staff were amazingly just as sweet as the ice cream. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was cute and decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for an after meal dessert or a short date/hang out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can smell the hint of brown sugar from the waffle cones in the room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is free parking behind the store.

Came to Milk & Sugar for a sweet treat, and it reminded me why this place is one of my go-to spots in the city for ice cream. They consistently deliver some of the most unique and thoughtfully crafted flavors--definitely not your typical "vanilla and chocolate" lineup. You can tell they put real effort into creating combinations that are different but still delicious, and they really do it right. The servers here are always so helpful and genuinely sweet, which makes the experience even better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's also a good amount of seating inside, so it's an easy spot to hang out with friends or just enjoy your ice cream without feeling rushed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're in the mood for something a little different and seriously tasty, Milk & Sugar never disappoints

So delicious, the service was nice and it was a line but it went by fast , they let me try some samples , and the homemade brown butter cones was amazing I had the split ice cream cone and it was delicious and reasonable

    Yum cha + ube
    Ellen K.

I loved how creative and unique their flavor profiles are. I went with the yum cha and the ube (vegan option) and was very pleased. My only minor note was that the ube was a touch icier in texture than I'd have liked, but honestly still very good and worth every bite. Looking forward to trying more~

Milk and sugar is my favorite ice cream shop in Houston and I went to their Montrose location on two different occasions the first time I went I got the limited time xoxo flavor, which has a white chocolate base with red velvet gooey butter cake. This was so so gasssss. Very creamy like the happy wife flavor but with red velvet cake bits inside instead. Both times I also got their happy wife flavor, which is one of their signature ones. It is a sweet cream ice cream with almond pound cake. Really similar to the xoxo flavor but with a different cake. I also got the Thai tea and their Thai tea flavor is stronggggg. You can distinctly taste the depth of flavor. This place has never let me down. They have such unique flavors and make them all in house.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I cannot begin to say how much Ice cream I've been eating since finding out about this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the friendly service, bright and clean interior to the absolutely incredible creative flavors, you cannot go wrong.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While I enjoy the more traditional flavors (who doesn't love chocolate?) it's the more unique flavors that truly have me sold. The Yumcha, Hojicha and Thai Tea truly are a perfect match, with authentic and addictive flavors that complement each other perfectly. The rotating seasonal options are also amazing, including the truly revelational corn one. The portion sizes are also very generous, and the split scoop options allow for trying more than one flavor even when you only want one scoop. Another standout factor are the employees. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful, which just makes the entire experience pleasant!

Been here multiple times and it always hits!!! I love trying the new seasonal flavors which are always unique and fun to try. My favorites include Thai tea, ube, horchata, and their newest flavor, hello summer! The service is good and they let you try a lot of flavors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My favorite location is the westheimer one because of how cozy the interior is![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Yumcha, a la "moe"
    Alex W.

I came here twice in two days and it was a banger both times. Obviously you have to go for the YumCha. I liked the Alamo (a la "moe") a lot because of the texture difference, compared to Thai tea which just tasted like more milk and sugar.
