Came in on Wednesday around 5PM and was helped right away. We sampled several of their unique flavors like Rosewater and Turkish Coffee but ended up getting a scoop of Hazelnut Chocolate and Pistachio. The ice cream is definitely a bit different from what I'm used to as it is Mediterranean style. It's very stretchy and it melts in your mouth but I don't think I'm used to the texture. It also didn't give me the "wow, this is super good" type of reaction. As for the flavor, the Hazelnut Chocolate was flavorful, delicious, and strong but the Pistachio was the opposite. The ice cream itself was very mild and I think adding pistachio was actually the only thing that made it "pistachio". Other than that, the staffs were nice and I think it was still worth a try. They also have clean tables and a lot of parking spaces.
It's so good! A must try. I've never had ice cream this smooth and creamy and fruit forward. The pineapple is to die for. And the scoops are huge! Nice staff. Outside seating. All around great place.
The summers here are hot and humid, and ice cream is always welcome during these times. We had the hazelnut chocolate flavor and pistachio, and it was not bad, but it wasn't as creamy and thick as I had hoped it would be, and the pistachios did not taste very fresh nor did it have that strong of a pistachio flavor. The hazelnut flavor is strong and decent though, I actually enjoyed that flavor more. There's seating indoors and outdoors, and you can try samples before finalizing your flavor, there are some more interesting flavors such as Turkish coffee and some other fruity flavors.
I got cookies and cream, pomegranate with chocolate chips and vanilla in a medium cup for 8$. I enjoyed sampling different flavors before making my order and there's plenty of clean seating. It's quiet inside and the staff is attentive and quick. Would come back! The texture of the ice cream is amazing and stretchy. Very filling as well.
Super unique turkish ice cream/gelato spot! I never knew a place like this existed until a friend pointed it out. We got a medium ($8 and can get up to 3 flavors) and got the Hazelnut Chocolate, Pistachio, and Rosewater. I personally really liked the Rosewater - it's got a refreshing, sweet floral taste to it. The Pistachio doesn't have the typical almond-like flavor, but rather something closer to real pistachios. I honestly think the flavor got lost in the two stronger flavors that we had in our cup, but the employees said that Pistachio was their most popular flavor... There's a sign that says no samples, but we asked prior to seeing the sign and they were willing! I feel like $8 for a medium is very fair pricing, and the stretchiness of it makes for a fun consumption experience! I would definitely come back to try some of their other unique flavors
Great ice cream and unique flavors! I'm not a huge fan of the stretchy texture ice cream but the rose water flavor was pretty good! I chose the lemon mint and vanilla cone for myself. It was amazing. Super strong flavor, very tart, but the vanilla balanced it well. The cone tasted fresh. There were two men helping our group tonight and they were very nice and helped us with samples. Would definitely come again!
Stopped in during the evening after dinner. It's your typical creamery with a few outside and inside tables. Ice cream was flavorful and texture was perfect! Customer service was good.
They have gelato, Mediterranean ice cream (stretchy) and slushees! They have a good variety of fruity and chocolate flavors, including other unique ones like rose water. I enjoyed the cookies and cream Mediterranean ice cream (one of the few with a mix in solid). They offer two samples so you can make sure you like the flavor you pick! My boyfriend liked the butter pecan gelato best the Mediterranean ice cream is soft and delicious! A unique dessert for ice cream lovers.

I tried the Turkish Coffee flavor, pistachio, and sweet cream. I opted for a small cup of the sweet cream and Turkish Coffee--delicious! If I'm in the area I will definitely return
I visited Booza after seeing a post abt them online. I was fascinated by the history and curious to try this type of ice cream! The shop has a clean modern aesthetic and has great seating area. They had an array of gelatos and ice creams, staff were very kind and friendly. I tried a few different flavors and decided on Turkish Coffee and Pistachio w Ashta. The ice cream was unique and different than any I had before, it's creamy & not too sweet. I also loved the flavor of pomegranate chocolate gelato I will be having that on my next visit! A cultural experience I recommend :)
Booza is tricky to rate because one flavor was excellent and the other was subpar. The big draw to Booza is their Palestinian stretch style ice cream. Personally, I was not impressed since the stretch didn't look appetizing and the ice cream just hung off my spoon. Perhaps the consistency affects the flavor? The pomegranate chocolate chip sorbet was delicious, however. It melted quickly and was light and refreshing. Booza has pints available for purchase in a freezer and you can place online or phone orders for pints to be shipped. You are limited to two samples per customer. Their trash can was very cute. Overall, I won't be returning and am sad to report it was just a so so experience.

Great thick Booza! As someone who became addicted to Booza traveling the Middle East... they are on par with what I had on my trip. Great shop to have local in Houston to scratch the Booza itch. With a nice variety of flavors tried the hazelnut chocolate and rose water and both were great. Friend got the cookies n cream and coconut and loved both. Out of town visitor and visited this place looking for some good ice cream. Ive tried several here in Houston and this place is good but not the best I have tried. I am a tough critic since I am from San Diego, home of the #1 Ice Cream shop in the Nation two years in a row. I walked in and the interior was very clean and clutter free behind the counter. The flavors were very plain w basic flavors. Nothing too exciting. I had a double of Pistachio and Coconut. The first thing I noticed was how small the scoops were!!! Tiny cup with tiny scoops. I did like the flavor of pistachio and it was packed with nuts. The coconut had very little flavor. It was so slight could barely taste the coconut. Disappointing. What I did notice was the soft creamy "stretchy" texture. This was truly unique but the flavors lacked. I am not sure if I would return myself, but for anyone who hasnt tried Booza, I do suggest you try it. Experience the texture and "stretchy" ice cream. The biggest issue is the price point! High price for the portion received! read more
The ice cream was good and they offer a huge variety of flavors, so there's something for everyone. They also sell their ice cream by the pint if you want to take some home. One of the highlights was learning about the history of the shop, it added a unique touch to the experience and made the visit even more enjoyable. read more

lemon and rose flavors were both good the rose was the best. the lemon flavor had a harder more thick/solid consistency than the rose one. the pistachio flavor was also tasty. read more

My new go-to for ice cream! My boyfriend and I wanted something sweet after eating lunch and decided to try out Booza. We were still pretty full from lunch, so we shared an ice cream (large waffle cone.) There were several flavors to choose from, but we chose Turkish coffee since we love coffee. The cone was very big and had a lot of ice cream, so it was plenty for the two of us to share; it was a little over $7, which isn't bad for two people. The ice cream and the cone were both really good. The ice cream had a somewhat floral palette and of course coffee, and was very creamy. The cone was nice and crisp and had a very yummy flavor. I hope more people check out Booza; it is definitely worth it and deserves more hype. read more

I hadn't had booza (Arabic for ice cream) since I was in Palestine (Ramallah). Arabic ice cream is made with the Mastic from the Mastic Tree evergreen and is even used in gum. It has many medicinal benefits, as well. This sticky texture makes the booza have a wonderful texture that is pure delite. The little shop has tons of flavors.. I love rosewater...it it was a no-brainer I had coconut as always, and both were like I remembered. The shop we would eat at was called Rukab's in Ramallah...this happens to be the same family! It is pricy and it is very far from me, so only reason for 4*. read more
I never realized how much of a sweet tooth I had until I hung out with my non-foodie cousins recently. Thankfully, we have lots of places to choose from that have excellent gelato. Booza serves stretchy ice cream which has a consistency closest to of a gelato but creamy, rich, and just absolutely dreamy. The most recent trip was not my first here but it was the first time I ventured out of my comfort zone of just sticking to my favorite flavor - pistachio and also tried two additional flavors making my ice cream cone a sort of a leaning tower of Pisa. As a rule of thumb, I had to get the pistachio flavor, which had hazelnut above it, and to top it all off was the fig flavor that I was very curious to try. In the end though, IMO, pistachio reigns supreme. The fig has little chunks of fresh fig that have been perfectly caramelized into a jammy state. You get little flecks of the fig's interior as you eat the ice cream. Next you make it into the hazelnut layer which was like a nutella like flavor with just perfect balance of nuttiness and sugary delight. But the final crescendo inside the cone was the pistachio ice cream. It was pillowy and nutty, dreamy and fluffy, it was what ice cream should taste like, it was what you want to eat after running a triathlon. It was everything you could want in a pistachio flavored ice cream and then some more. The people that work there are always super professional. It reminds me of a different time where people take pride in what they are serving. I hope that this place survives COVID because their ice cream is just perfect! read more

It's an ok spot to grab a cone or a cup. Just a little bit underwhelming from all the social media videos I saw on the gram. The chocolate is amazing and the coffee flavor pairs well with it. It just lacked so much aesthetic in that it looked like slightly melted gelato and not the stretchy goodness it claimed to be. Also unlike the videos, the energy of the shop was low. It was a bit sad in fact. I hope they can turn things around. read more
I came by here for some afternoon delight one day last week to try some stretchy ice cream. After looking at all of the available flavors, I decided to go very basic with a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of vanilla gelato. After all, I didn't want to be too risky with my first stretchy ice cream experience! Those two scoops only cost $4 so that's a real deal. The vanilla gelato was light and refreshing with a hint of vanilla but the chocolate was rich and full of flavor and therefore my favorite. It was a quality dessert. They have some outdoor seating in front if the weather is cooperative. I will return here. read more

Wasn't for me, but that's okay! I was in the area and really wanted some ice cream. I had heard of booze before so why not seize the moment! They are still offering samples of the flavors but it is limited. I had the strawberry booza and the passion fruit sorbet. The passion fruit was my favorite. It was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. I would go back just for that. The strawberry booza was just okay. The restaurant was so cute and very clean. They even have pints for purchase in a freezer at the front. There is also a cute little ice cream trash can at the front! read more

Amazing family-owned business that is literally a hidden hole in the wall - it is pretty easy to miss as it lies in a xomplex squished between two fast food restaurants. Just seeing this place through the car window as we pulled up brought back memories of Saffron and Rose during my college days in Lose Angeles. The business is authentic. I mean you not only see a multi-generational family staff but also grandpa still scooping the ice cream. My only critique / opinion is to focus on the stretchy Palestinian ice cream and intensifying some of those flavors (i.e. rosewater) instead of being a triathlete of ice cream, gelato, and sherbert. Their ice cream is what is unique, and I wish stretched 80% of the cases - no pun intended haha. Prices aren't bad. For a large, it was about $6, and can feed 2 people comfortably or 3 people if you want to taste more flavors. Can't wait to come back and continue to support this business. Hope they sell pints soon! Would love to store them in my freezer. read more

I really enjoyed my first visit. My brother wanted to get something from Dave&Buster's but since I had no interest I stayed at the ice-cream shop as he walked over to D&B. By the time I had picked my flavors and finished half my cone he was back! Ice-cream: 4 They had a lot of ice cream flavors like rose water that I had never seen before. The case on the right holds their gelato (and I think sorbet as well) while the case on the left held the stretchy Turkish ice-cream. Everything I tried was delicious and but not extremely strong so you had to wait a bit for the flavor to hit. However, I liked this since I don't like extremely sweet desserts in the summer and it didn't leave me dehydrated. I loved that the ice cream were smooth and had an interesting stretchy characteristic. Think of the the stretchiness of bubble gum but weaker and with the ice cream texture. The price point is similar to Aqua S for the basic ice cream. Staff: 5 The owner was extremely nice and said that I could try anything I wanted. He didn't skimp on the tasters and was pretty generous with how much ice cream he gave me. He wasn't very talkative but was professional. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area! read more
