Stopped in for a treat with my son! Try the Thai Tea ice cream (if you like Thai Tea), it was amazing! The service was good, they treated my little boy well, offering samples. The only trouble is, we'll never go back. Like every other place that has gone cashless, our family stopped going to those places. Places should be offering more ways to pay, not less. Offer Bitcoin payments even. We were at a place this week that offered a discount for cash (like a lot of places in Europe) and it was so refreshing. I got the Peanut Butter Cookies & Cream and I swear, from the first bite I was like "Ohhh this is different." It was so damn good. Just the right amount of sweetness. Real ingredients. You know how some places do too much? Not here. It's just right. What really got me though is how easy on my stomach it was. I usually have to brace myself after dairy, but this? No issues at all. This was my first time at this specific location, but this 5 stars goes out to every milk + sugar in town. It is definitely my favorite ice cream shop in town. They have several different locations, all offering cute indoor and outdoor seating. Their ice cream flavors are the real stars of the show. Some of my all time favorites are cereal milk and follow your nose. Right now, they have their seasonal yumcha (also one of my all time favorites- features a chrysanthemum pandan combo), and the fruity pebbles one. I first fell in love with milk and sugar when I went to the original location at river oaks. I took some friends but was disappointed they didn't have the 'follow your noise' the milk ice cream with fruit loops. I do love all the other flavors but I love the fruity taste of the loops in combination with the milk ice cream. The cereal milk is good as it is a combination of frosted flakes with the milk ice cream but it can get a little too sweet and buttery after a couple of bites. I love how the milk ice creams are chewy and stretchy and have so much flavor in them. Plus the added cereals are so crunchy and flavorful despite being added into the ice creams. The almond flavored ice creams also have the almond taste to it but can be a little less chewy and stretchy compared to the full dairy milk ones. I love that they got a new heights location and there is plenty of parking. They have some outside chairs/benches if you prefer to hang outside as well. You can always try out a couple of flavors and everyone is super helpful and sweet at the shop. read more

The earl grey was good (bit floral) but the pecan was on another level - buttery and caramel like but not overwhelming. The strawberry swirl didn't have any tangy strawberry taste or even the cheesecake taste. Just dull sweetness. My friend had the butter pecan, and she said it tasted like rice milk. Love the location in Montrose, but loving it more now that it's about a 5 min drive from us! They've got all the same great everyday and seasonal flavors as the Montrose location. Parking at this location is easier since the parking lot is a bit bigger than the Montrose one. They are located in the same complex as Chilantro. The outside double rocking chairs are very cute and provides additional seating (too hot so we didn't try out). Ordered a double with the seasonal Perfect Matcha and Rain or Shine (earl gray + lavender + lemon), the flavors are really good. Sadly the second scoop on the bottom melted pretty fast and turned into thick milkshake consistency when we got to it (not sure if the texture changed compare to the original location or just the weather being too hot?)
