if I could start off by giving this I would. I went there to have a good time every 5 to 10 minutes. A waitress approached me trying to get me to buy a bottle. After I already bought the as well as a a waiter ended up walking up to me and telling me even though you bought the section. You're holding it up because there's other people that wants to buy bottles. Which made no sense to me since I've already would not recommend going here. Not only is the service bag, but waitresses are pushy like sales people one out of 10 would not recommend. read more

Love the hookah here!!! So smooth! We had watermelon passion fruit mint, a good combo. Maddie (sp?) was our waitress and she was very personable and friendly. They serve drinks here which are strong. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. They play a mix of music which is mostly R&B, which I really like. I plan to come here a lot more!!! Great place! read more

I may not check in every time I'm at Sky Lounge, but I go to this lounge every damn day. It's become my daily stress reliever. Sky Lounge has the best hookah guys in Houston and the surrounding areas abd their prices are excellent. The environment is so cool and laid back. The ambiance is so relaxing. This place is a good suggestion for every situation, whether you want to go on a date, meeting, for chilling, or even studying if you're not easily distracted. The crowd and music are diverse and I love that. The waiters and waitresses are respectful, professional, and competent regarding the menu, pricing, and shisha combinations. Sky Lounge is clean and doesn't have any bad smells. Also, the restrooms are always clean. I don't sit on the patio often but one night I did and they turned patio heater and that ft so good to have fresh air and warmth simultaneously. The DJ is a great plus on the weekends! The headsets for the staff is a great plus! Suggestions: Sky Lounge has a projector screen on the patio to play music videos, but it would be a plus if they would connect the indoor sound system to the patio. Play a movie once a month on the patio or what about open mic night once a month inside...? The waitresses need to be assigned to their own sections. The staff do a great job monitoring to see when someone chooses to sit on the patio, but I believe by assigning the staff to sections, the wait time will decrease. I love the various lighting selections but they should use them more often and adjust the lighting to a darker setting. Some times, the lighting is too bright. I support adding a gratuity or service charge to all bills! I'm able to provide a lot of feedback about Sky Lounge, but you should try it for yourself. I hope they open another location. May this business continue to succeed. One more thing, I love all of the staff, Jay, and AKASH Ta'Kori "KORI" Harris TKSPADE read more

The owners are friendly and customer service oriented! I have been coming now consistently for about a year! Safe, fun, and lit! Sunday night is the best night by far! Nigerian music and it's packed so get here early!!! You won't be disappointed any night that's for sure! read more

Okay this place is next to an abandoned Walgreens but the parking lot gets packed. Also, they charged us $40 to sit down at a two top table. I wasn't really thinking of it as a club like that so the section thing blew me. I mean if it was a section, then it would cost more, right? I think it was a Sunday night and still relatively empty. The hookah wasn't all that strong. We had to send it back--I think the first time it didn't have enough holes in it. It was nice but far enough from my house that I doubt I'll go back. read more

Went here last night and I loved the vibe the workers and the smoke flavors. The alcohol is kinda expensive if you ask me but it's all good. The hookah is cheap enough tho. Definitely will be coming back read more

Pros Ambience Hookah Variety Music Selection Cons Asthma Risk Patron Mixture Risk The Hookah lounge was comfortable however I'm not a big hookah smoker because it makes me dizzy after a while. This night I went with one of my close sorority sisters and ended up smoking hookah with her. This location was dark and very easy on the eyes. It showcased a heavy middle eastern influence since hookah is heavy there. The variety of options are given in a menu style and allow you to pick whatever fits your needs at the time. You are also able to freely smoke as long as you would like with the occasional waiter coming to replace the coals on your hookah. They also hire their DJs every night, so the music can change and control the mood depending on what is played. The do played a variety of music from hip hop to r&b and pop, there was no shortage on the tunes just know that they will change. The downside of this place is the smoke, if you're asthmatic or have trouble seeing this place might pose a couple of risk to you. You might have trouble breathing or being able to see the ground as you walk into the puff clouds of other patrons. There is also a mixture of patrons, some there to enjoy themselves and others to have parties and fun, if you're set on a flat consistent vibe then this may not be a place, there was someone on a couch enjoying their entire life while we were there, luckily we didn't care how they did anything it didn't interfere with us. Risk was also a major thing to be mindful of, the coals can be extremely hot and give damaging burns, people can also get sick from the hookah so be careful of the health risk and also use caution around the hookah to avoid coals! Overall a good place, if you're in Houston definitely stop by and have a good time. read more

I came here on Easter Sunday night and this place was pretty lit for Sunday. Got there around 9 and it started a little slow but by 11 more people came. They had a dj and the music was good and upbeat. The hookah is tasty and smooth I think we got blueberry mint and I ordered the chicken tenders which were nice and hot. Yummy! Check this place out! I'm glad I did! read more

I came here on a Thursday night & I loved the vibes! Reasonably priced food & drinks. They also serve alcoholic drinks beer & wine. They have a outdoor patio that you can hang out at & has a wide screen. They have appetizers like fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and entrees like burgers. Hookah was around 19$. I had gotten the Watermelon flavor! Loved it! 5 stars! Will be back! read more

Manager was extremely rude. I had a group of 6-7 ppl wanting to move to outside patio. I went to move two tables together by myself as there were no servers outside to help me. Manager yelled in front of everybody "HEY STOP! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" & treated me terribly. ON TOP OF THAT, I was accused on breaking a hookah inside for no apparent reason other than he probably did not like me. Obviously he was very distraught about the broken hookah & how busy the night was with little help. But unfortunately that still does not give him a free pass on his rude behavior. So this is a warning, DONT MOVE THE TABLES OUTSIDE ON THE PATIO WITHOUT LETTING A SERVER OR MANAGER KNOW because you will get your face chewed out & will receive the worst customer service by the manager himself. read more

I love trying out new hookah places and was excited for this one to open up. The hookah was great, they give good recommendations on flavors. I tried Paan ras and sex on the beach. It was great. If it's your first time or you want to try something ask the guys that work here, they will make good suggestions. Apart from the hookah, let's focus on how delicious their smoothies are. TRUST ME!! I ordered a strawberry and pineapple smoothie. I hate strawberry flavored things, but the waitress recommended it so I tried it. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT. I'm definitely going to get it every time. Food wise, I only ordered the wings. They were reallllyyyy spicy but I still enjoyed them because they served it with blue cheese dressing. They were really flavorful. Yummy! The next thing I'm going to try are the samosas, the table next to me had them and they smelled DELICIOUS! read more

This place doesn't know about proper customer service. I brought in a bottle of alkaline water to drink and they wanted to take it away from me. I even offered to pay money for one of there own water bottles and let me drink mine. (Since I only drink alkaline water) My friend that was with me is friends with the owner Akash and even mentioned his name. But they didn't seem to care. The server said one second let me talk to jubay the manager. He went to the back and came back and said we can't allow you to have essentia alkaline water. Every other Friday we come we spend atleast $30-$50 with hookah and drinks. Never will be be back unless they change management. I never leave yelp reviews but that was un called for. As a business owner would you lose $$$ and a loyal customer over a water bottle that we even offered to pay extra for having it? read more

I love this place! My first time stopping by. My home boy Faris hooked us up. They have a really good happy hour from 4 to 7 and that includes the hookah. My homegirl and I were just looking for a nice place to chill and drink. We will definitely be back!! read more

This place is always open late and tons of people are there. I think there was a wet t shirt contest going on at that time and it didn't even start until 3am, so we did not see it. They are usually a lot of the party folks from here that overflow around the parking lot and the nearby gas station. The hookah here is really good, lots of flavors. The staff are all female and wear pretty tight outfits, so it could be a good place for guys! They have pool tables there and lots people to meet. It is kind of a thug crowd, but i guess that could be fun depending on how much you like to let loose! The alcohol selection is average, mainly beer and a few mixed drinks read more

This is one of the best Hookah lounges I have been around the city. A variety of hookah flavours, delicious smoothies and quick bites makes it a perfect place to chill anytime. The servers are super friendly, specially the manager who always tries to strike up a conversation with me or other guests. It shows how much he cares and values the needs/requirements of the customers. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a new hookah spot or just a place to chill. The patio outside calls for a great environment to relax and hangout. 5 stars are not enough haha :) read more

SKYY is ALWAYS the SPOT. Doesn't matter the day/time you'll enjoy it with your friends. Atmosphere it's always pleasant, good food, music is on point. Give it a try, you won't regret it. Employees recognize you and actually take care of the guest. It gets crazy sometimes, but they don't forget about you, they will check on you and your Hookah. Decent prices, overall my favorite hookah place. Don't be scared, you'll love it boo. They do their thang. read more

This is my "just wanna chill but lowkey turn up and smoke good hookah down the street" spot. They have cheap strong hookah and cheap "get the job done" drinks. The music is also good. They have a dj on the weekend. Sunday they charge for sitting inside so beware even if you get there early they'll literally make you move and not even tell you they charge at a certain time. Outside is free. Afro beats on Sundays as well. Other than that I love this place! read more

I love the service here and hookahs. Plus they make drinks so that's great and the music is bomb

Love the atmosphere of this place. Can't get enough of the hookah. The place is great for couples and even large groups of people. The booths are probably my favorite though. Tried the food and the chicken wings are pretty damn good if you like spicy food! I had a peach, blueberry smoothie to go along with it and it was amazing. Definitely coming back here again! read more

Hands down my favorite hookah bar now. Our hookahs stayed fresh for the entire 4 hours we stayed here. Yes, FOUR hours. The owner was extremely kind and let us play our own music since we were the only people there for an hour or two. They had a live DJ for it being a Friday night. They don't have a full menu (just chicken fingers and what not), but that's fine because they specialize in the shisha. It's a super convenient location right off highway 6 across from west oaks so it's a fun activity after some shopping! You will not regret trying this place out. Friendly service, great ambience, couches, and of course the great hookah. TIP: Free soda or water with a hookah! read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would they have horrible customer service and they are liars. I have been here plenty of times and never was told I had to spend 100 dollars untill tonight I came with my family 6 people they don't smoke hookah and only 3 people wanted a hookah. She took my order then came back and said we have to spend 100 to sit down I asked to speak to the manager she acted like he wasn't there and she called him over the phone (lies) Then another waiter walked up and was very extremely rude and was telling lies as well she then walked away and said they only want to order one hookah. Wow I have been there plenty of times and never had this problem . I will never go back also it was absolutely nobody in there smh super dry read more

I start most of my reviews at 4 stars and if it's really good I'll give it a 5. This place was really great honestly. The hookah was good, service was great, and our server was incredibly attentive. My reason for the 3 stars is that the drinks seemed to be kind of watered down. That really sucked because if their drinks were good this would be my total go to spot. After 2 drinks I barely felt anything and the taste was also a little off in my drink where it tasted really watered down. I'm a very occasional drinker, so to not feel anything after 2 $8 drinks was kind of shitty. Still on the search for a more well rounded hookah bar in my area with good atmosphere, good hookah, good service, and good drinks! read more

I read a review saying this place had a great craft beer selection as well as flavors, so me not being into hookah, decided to tag along with my friends. The hookah was amazing! They got two different flavors and they loved each of them. It was a fair price as well. You could tell the atmosphere was pretty much just regulars or friends of the workers / owners, so it could feel a little off putting, but the music was great, and our server was very prompt. read more

I've visited this lounge twice in the past week. The atmosphere is very chill, employees are super nice and make sure everything you need is taken care of. The hookah is GREAT gives a nice buzzed feeling without leaving me with a headache like most places. I've visited a majority of hookah spots in Houston and I must say this one is was very diverse. They equally respect all of the customers when it comes to being attentive. The Manager also stopped by our table to make sure everything was fine. I wish the lighting was blue purple or red indoors to give it a more relaxed vibe and the music a tad bit louder but overall I enjoyed my experience and I will be a regular at Sky hookah lounge. read more
