Tara was the sweetest nicest server everrrrrrr food was amazing drinks where great service was amazing
I will start with the positive! the loaded fries with chicken was very flavorful and a shareable size, 3 of us ate from the plate and we had leftovers. We also had the chicken wings in 2 different flavors and the ladies through they were amazing! Our waiter was amazing and very attentive! We did not like the idea that there was a baby no more than 3 years old sitting at the bar with the parents while they were drinking, after 1am, and the father trying to keep her awake and the bartender continued to serve the parents.
We came on Monday for HH around 7:30 pm, we know HH was almost over, we live 5 mins away and wanted a quick bite and drink. The valet charges $20 or $40 on a week day and its not even that busy. We walked in and nobody was at the front so we asked the first person we saw " do we sit ourselves" , and she said just wait by the entry door and the host will seat you. Well the host came and said "go to the front & I can help you there". Cool. We get seated and given a menu. The menu was dirty, sticky, and over all filthy. We moved inside to the bar and asked a waitress "can you let the bartender know we are here, we think she went to the back for something". The waitress looked at us and said " oh, she know y'all here. She gone come". Instead of letting her know we moved to the bar. Anywho, Bunny took great care us. She literally made our experience go from 1 to a high 8. Ask for Bunnnyyy at the bar!!! Nice music playing. Minus the bugs on the patio (love bug season in tx) and long wait on the patio, the ambiance wouldve been great outside..... Service needs a bit of tweaking, food was good, Bunny was amazing. Well be back in some time. Thank you Bunnyyy!

First time checking out Lost and Found in the 4th Ward, and let me just say... I get it now. When you see a restaurant with a 4.8 rating and almost 16K reviews, you already know it's gonna be something special--and this spot did not disappoint. From the jump, the vibe was right. My bartender, Ace, was super friendly, gave me recommendations, and every single one hit. Food came out in under 10 minutes too--like, how?! That's when you know the kitchen is locked in. Highlights: $4 Wing Night - Are you kidding me? Eight wings for four bucks. That's a steal, and they were grilled perfectly. Side Salad - Fresh, crisp, light--like it was just pulled out of the garden. Collard Greens - Straight up reminded me of my mom's, smoked turkey and all. Just needed a splash of hot sauce and it was perfect. Hot Honey Lemon Pepper Chicken - Whew. THIS was the showstopper. That drizzle? Top tier. Sweet, tangy, spicy--basically everything you want in a chicken dish. Between the food, service, and prices, this was one of those meals that sticks with you. Lost and Found is definitely on my "run it back" list.
One of my favorite Houston brunch spots!! I always recommend Lost & Found to my friends from out of town and they always deliver! My favorite dish is their Cajun pasta and this time I paired it with their Golden Cadillac cocktail which is also fire! They have a pretty large patio with plenty of TVs and fans for the summer time, but there is indoor seating as well. Hookah is also available here. Now this is a well known popular spot in Houston, so prepare to wait to be seated, especially if you do not have a reservation (highly recommended you do). Lines can be long and wrapped around the parking lot during peak times. However, once seated, their service is pretty quick for how busy they get. Parking can also be another issue because their small lot is valet only, so if you don't want to valet you will have to find street parking which can be a real task in that area. Otherwise, this place is always a vibe with their music and I always enjoy my brunch here!
Today is Mother's Day. My friend and our husbands chose this restaurant as the celebration location. I had a small clue that the restaurant would not be up to Par after reading some of the recent reviews. The demise started at the valet-only parking lot; charges were double for this day. Secondly, the establishment's doors were so dirty, smeared with what looked like greasy fingerprints. But it's 11 a.m. (opening time), so it leads me to believe cleaning hadn't taken place the night before. We were promptly seated, but this vendor opens at 11 a.m. Our waitress served smiles and great energy to make up for the lack of eggs, bacon, and another item I can't remember. So we placed our order from the remaining items listed on the brunch menu. If I had known of the lack of key brunch items, we could've stopped and picked up some eggs from the local Sam's Club on my way in, and don't forget Houston is famous for H-E-B, and I am certain several cartons of eggs and bacon could have been obtained. As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges small businesses may encounter; however, this was unacceptable. We proceeded and asked for lemons for the water. We were brought limes and oranges because, of course, the establishment was out of lemons as well. Our entrées were brought out warm. My pancakes were flat as though they were missing a key ingredient, maybe eggs . For the pancakes only at a price point of $19. I was expecting light and fluffy, not flat and dense . Did I mention that, as I was cutting my pancake, the table tilted to the right because it was unstable and uneven ? Thankfully, our husbands use their feet to stabilize the table so we ladies can celebrate eating our underwhelming brunch without the table flipping over. This entire experience led me to set aside a portion of my Mother's Day celebration to deliver a public service announcement urging people to avoid this restaurant.
First time and definitely not our last time. Once seated and our waiter, Tyson, introduced himself, he made the experience quite welcoming. He seems like he enjoys what he does bcz he was such a pleasure. He could tell it was our first time and was very patient and took time to explain everything on the menu. Tyson's suggestions were spot on for both eats and drinks. He didn't make us feel rushed at any time, and instead made us feel like taking our time was preferred, which helps patrons enjoy every single detail of the work chefs and bartenders put into their crafts. Whenever I return, I'll definitely request Tyson as our waiter.
The food was good but they need to get their website fix. I ordered a couple things thru their online website and when I got there they didn't have the items because they were out of stock. So I ended up reordering at the place when I got there.
Came here with my bestie after doing to wedding errands and we're craving soul food! The weather was perfect so we sat outside! We had these mocktails that were yummy! Our waitress was very sweet! Would come back especially because the food was fantastic! Everything was delicious!
I was craving a nice frozen drink on a hot Saturday in Houston & decided to stop by Lost & Found since it was on my list. The aesthetics throughout the restaurant are really nice & you can get great pictures. There is also a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside since that was all that was available at the time and Aspen took great care of us. She recommended we try the frozen Golden Cadillac Margaritas & they definitely were one of the best frozen drinks I tried. We saw these pineapple upside down shots as well. They had a deal 3 for $11 so why not. Y'all they tasted just like the dessert. My cousin and me weren't hungry so we just listened to the music being played during brunch & caught a vibe off the cocktails & hookah we ordered. Thank you ASPEN for making sure our first experience was great. I will visit you when I return.
Turkey Mac & Cheese Burger was on point. Service was amazing! The shrimp and crawfish dip appetizer was the best I ever had. All around 5 stars for this spot!
Lost & Found has been pumped up all over Instagram so I had to make a stop. The parking was a bit sketchy and we got charged when we parked our own vehicle just for the parking attendant to move the car. Next, we were seated fairly quickly and we got a great seat with high tables and booth located near the bar. The waiter B, was very kind to us and gave a couple of food recommendations... the music was a vibe and we even stayed for Happy hour! This place I would recommend for quick service and great food especially on a holiday like Memorial Day weekend!! Thank You to the Lost & Found crew.
"Not All Who Wander Are Lost"...And what I found was some great food! Atmosphere is casual, service is friendly, the vibe is definitely Viking (and from what I have heard, it's really popping during brunch!). We came on. Friday after work during happy hour and the prices could not be beat, especially with their lobster bites (was sitting at about $30, and we got them half off!) Drinks were fantastic! I selected the "Golden Cadillac" that comes with a miniature bottle of Grand Marnier inside of it. Very good. My company decided on an array of appetizers for his "main course", while I went with their Fried Salmon (served with Mac and cheese, and collard greens). Omg! So tasty! The pepper was prevalent throughout, but it did not over power the flavor! I make collard greens at home (and learned from one of the best), and even I found theirs to be pretty good! My company selected fried ribs, along with the lobster bites, and crawfish queso dip, and their wings! I tasted what he got, and we both agreed that the wings were "off the chart" delicious with a beautiful straight off the grill smoky flavor! So good that he got another order to go! Lol. What made our experience there amazing was our server Ray (Rajean = think "the 90's TV Show "Living Single"..."smooches"!)...she was the best!! From her hello, to walking us through the menu (as first-timers), her recommendations, her energy, her smile, and her being very relatable. Loved her! My only gripe was the bathrooms, the ladies room needed attention (and could use a spruce all around). It doesn't help that it is a bit small, but yeah, they need to focus some efforts on ensuring it's upkeep. As for seating and parking, there is a bar area and limited seating toward the front of the restaurant, but it does extend to back of the house with additional seating. There is also patio seating as well. Because this place seems popular, it is best to reserve ahead to ensure your seating. Parking is very limited! They do however, offer valet (but at $20+). There is off-street parking, but be careful since this is a residential area and nothing is secure. All in all, I really had a great time and left with my belly full! Definitely worth checking out! Came in on a Saturday night around 9:340ish... we ordered..... fried salmon a side of fries While the salmon came out...... my fries didn't lol! The bartender even mentioned about the fries coming out first. But I sat for a longggg time before my side of fries NEVER CAME! At 10:13 I canceled my fries! Usually I'd chuck it up to it being packed.... But baby this place wasn't packed...... I'm ngl I feel a lil played.. but whatever. I heard back in the day this was the place to be.. but babyyyy not no more smh! Honestly the prices don't match the place or match the menus (they were clearly done, and needed to be replaced) Overall will I be back.......!? Nahhh I'm good! read more
Terrible service! Went for happy hour for the first time as an out of towner new to Houston and was ignored for 10 mins until I'm literally begging for service. The bartender was rude AF and even charged happy hour at full price. Had a whole attitude that I wanted the correct pricing and told me that's the price. Offered no water just choking on chicken dry mouth. Chicken wings were phenomenal though 10/10. It was my friend's birthday and we did not enjoy the experience at all. Will be posting the waiter that had an attitude all night and was talking roughly and too long with a coworker... They both didn't care when I wanted to put an order in. No need for management to reply. You're not sorry. read more

Parking is no joke, had to park on the street because the paid lot was full but was able to find a spot within a reasonable distance walking distance. We arrived around 7 ish and were surprisingly seated immediately, server came over almost instantly once we were seated. We asked the server which drink was the best, he recommended the Golden Cadillac... 10/10... I had 2 and she had the DGK which was also good. I had the fried salmon and added grilled shrimp and she had the lamb chops..the food was delicious. The Mac had a lil kick to it, I wish the greens would've had the kick but no complaints. First time ever having fried salmon and they def set the standard, the sauce it's served with was fire. We got the lamb chops cooked medium well, they were cooked perfectly, seasoned just right. The vibes were cool, the music, food and drinks was all hittin. I'd def recommend and go back. I was thrown for a loop when I seen it but wasn't pissed, there was a 20% service fee added, a heads up woulda been cool but aside from that no issues. read more
The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was really good. The cajun pasta was full of flavor with lots of veggies. The service was accommodating. He explained the items and answered questions. Man oh man, the cajun pasta with shrimp and crawfish was my favorite meal all weekend. So good, I had to have it twice. I ordered it for my ride to the airport. Truly worth the hype. The mac + cheese is more like pasta, but I liked it; as well as the wings. read more
this is my second time coming to Lost and Found and I will say it doesn't really disappoint me. The first time I came I had the Cajun pasta. It was good and this time I came on a Tuesday for their 50 Cent wings and got eight wings. I also ordered their loaded fries as an appetizer. Both were good. I do think they should fry the chicken wings just a tad bit harder because they were just coming apart once you pick them up. The service was good. I had a really nice waitress . I will say to make sure that you read because they already include gratuity and someone like me. I always tip so me not even knowing that they already took my tip. I tipped again so he ended up getting a really big tip. And it's not that he didn't deserve it. I think everyone should have an option of tipping. If you already have gratuity, then remove the tip option after someone pays. Or just remove the gratuity. The ambience is nice . They play a lot of hip-hop music, which I love. They also serve Hookah everyone in Houston serves Hookah. Lol I didn't get a Mojito, but I got it non-alcoholic version.. it was pretty tasty and I think I paid six dollars for it Overall lost and found is definitely a 8 out of 10 for me. So to give you a roundabout for eight wings appetizer and a Mojito I paid about $30 a little high considering that it's happyhour. But again, the price really came from me tipping and them already putting on a gratuity. read more

I've started coming here less and less. This night my sorority sisters were in town so we took a chance. They were out of a few of their staple items so we kind of had to piece a meal together. The drinks are always good so the really saves the day. read more

I've personally never had a bad experience, but of course it's NOTHING like the first year it opened! Those were the days!!! The Cadillac margaritas were top tier, I have liked the menu adjustments and I love the daily specials that they have. I did brunch recently with a large group and the experience went very well! Our server was attentive, food was fresh and the drinks were flowing. It's gotten to be on the pricey side but hey. Will be back! read more

Lost & Found was a great spot to hit up after visiting the Museum of Fine Arts. They've got limited parking so valet or be mindful of where you park your car (thieves in the area, tow trucks, etc.) The patio area is great, the whole place is decorated nicely. Lots of tvs towards the back if you want to watch the game. Love how many booths they had. And the best part? The FOOD. I wasn't even hungry - but my family was. My god, I'll be dreaming about those cheese smothered fries with fried chicken until I go back. The hamburger, chicken sandwiches, even the regular fries are anything BUT regular! So perfectly crispy & well seasoned. The service was terrific - a dark haired gentleman with stretcher earrings & black nail polish served us. Probably one of the most thoughtful servers we have ever had. There was an automatic 20% tip for our group of 5 which I get & support. Only problem is I definitely should've tipped even more so I'll have to get him when I go back. They play loud rap music with plenty of curse words so if you're delicate about these things maybe don't bring the kids. But mine are teenagers & we didn't mind. You want to hang with the awesome people who season their food? You embrace the music & have a good time. I will be going back, no doubt about it. read more

If we focus on the food and the drinks, I would definitely give this restaurant high ratings. The service was also good. I had never been to the restaurant before and our server made sure he went over the menu in detail. I believe they have an inside and they have outdoor seating on the ground floor and rooftop. You have to do valet as there's nowhere to park. Only thing that I hated was the amount of flies that were there. I get it that we were outside, but it was kind of excessive. read more

Lost & Found Houston will definitely stay "lost" on my list of go-to establishments. With over 16k reviews and a 4.8 rating, I was expecting an outstanding experience--but instead, it was an expensive disappointment. The good: My granddaughter loved her burger and gave it 5 stars. The lamb chops and lobster were decent, but far too overpriced for the quality--3 stars. The bad: The fried ribs were inedible. One bite and the burst of saturated oil literally made me want to gag--0 stars. Drinks were average at best and not memorable--2 stars. Overall, this restaurant may work for some, but for me, it was not worth the hype or the price. Service was good. read more
lost & found... i have notes : +update decor by removing those gimmicky giraffes and nonsensical decor items +add breakfast potatoes to the brunch menu... everyone does not want fries or those questionable potatoes in that au jus. +allow patrons to add their names to waitlist using the waitlist add-on in yelp vs asking patrons to wait in a literal line. now, i sat at the bar. the bartender was nice and attentive. i ordered the seafood omelette and my friend ordered the cajun pasta which she really liked. i noticed a lot of ppl ordered this same dish. my omelette was actually perfect and was seasoned great! i would've loved to have some hot sauce though also they dont accept tap pay, apple pay, cashapp or anything like that. they also include gratuity in your tab. so be mindful to double check your receipt. now, the food was pretty good, but based on my notes i probably would not be returning. if you go, let me know how it goes ! bonne appétit read more

We were visiting Houston for the weekend and we decided to come here. We had a reservation but we didn't get seated until maybe 15 minutes later. We ended up having to sit outside even though we wanted to sit inside. Unfortunately there were tons of flies, even with the Device they gave us to deter flies. I did enjoy my meal and the drinks. I was expecting a live, Dj or music, but we didn't experience that. read more
Let me start with the ridiculous valet only parking. Or signs that say there's a lot of break ins in the area. So, $20 for regular valet and $40 for VIP valet. That was a turn off. We had reservations and they gave us a booth. Cool... however you can tell they don't really clean the tables/seats. There was a long hair on the booth - btw, we were there when they had just opened so they did have time to clean up. The table had something sticky on one of the corners. Service was decent. I think our waitress wasn't too happy when we ordered a few things to share. I don't eat a full meal so I prefer to share a main dish and an appetizer whenever I go out. The food was good. Not amazing. And with the super expensive valet nonsense, I don't think I'd go back. read more

Met some colleagues here on a Friday afternoon. This is a good place when the weather is good and you have a group. We had about 10 people rotate in and out over the course of 3 hours and it was easy. Our server was nice but her shift ended while we were still there so she closed us all out and we had to start over with someone else if we wanted to order something. I suspect this was so she could get her tips that she rightfully owned, but it just felt a little weird to be asked to do that. Overall people enjoyed their food - wings seemed to be a hit. I had a sprit-free colada and it was SWEET! I'm talking pour half of my glass of water into the drink and let the ice melt sweet. Because of that I didn't really want to eat anything and a few other people said their drinks were too sweet for them as well. Music isn't too loud outdoors so you can actually hear across the table if there are no side conversations. So I came by with a reservation and they told my group (just 3 of us) that we'd have to wait for a table, they can sit us at the bar or we can sit outside. We were very confused because if we have a reservation, why were no tables available? The host clearly did not feel like working this day. We said we'd sit outside and she walked us to a dirty table, tissue on the floor and gave us plastic utensils. The prices of this establishment do not match the vibe. We asked if there were actual utensils inside and the host/server said she doesn't know what they have in there. Confused... you work there. We were then brought inside because we decided to sit at the bar. They made room for us to sit comfortably and the young lady who took care of us there was veryyy nice and attentive. She kept checking on us and delivered a smile. The drink I had was the purple rain and I got the Cajun pasta which the server/bartender recommended and I must say it was really good. My friends and I went on a Saturday night around dinner time and was seated immediately. Our server was attentive and went through the menu with his recommendations as it was our first time there. The environment was nice, lights were dimmed, neon light signs, hookah outside, there is loud music playing so in case you're looking for a quieter spot. My food came quick and was flavorful! The Mac n cheese was seasoned Cajun and was flavorful. My friend said her green beans were good but the salmon needed a bit more seasoning, it was very fresh but plain. The chicken was very flavorful! It was lemon pepper. Not much to say about the shrimp, they were good and breading coat was good, didn't fall off but nothing much different than any other restaurant shrimp. I would just say check your bill for a gratuity charge, we realized it said it on the menu but totally overlooked it. We all ended up tipping and didn't notice until one of us had the receipt sent to their phone and realized there was already a gratuity fee for the four of us. Prices were okay, we felt that it could've been more cheaper but all our bills (with each plate to one person and no drinks, just waters) came out to about $30+ each person. The food was amazing. I ordered the jerk lamb and substituted my eggs for the Cajun grits (extra charge) but worth it. Everything had flavor and the service was nice. We came during brunch hours so it was a wait but we just chose to eat the bar area which was fine for parties of two. Ace was our server and she was delightful. read more

Yes there are plenty options. Even in house lemonade.

I thought I would have needed a reservation on a Thursday but we went about 8pm and did not. It did get significantly busier later, but for dining it seems like you dont really need a reservation.

Saturdays tend to be one of their busy days, I highly recommend a reservation (call the restaurant), I went with a party of 2 and waited nearly 2 hours. Good luck

Are they dog friendly?
No ma'am. They're also overpriced and the quality of food isn't that good.
Is it kid friendly?
Based on my last visit, YES (7/25/21). I went on a Sunday for brunch and saw children dining in the establishment. Safe to say during the day, kids are allowed. Keep in mind- hookah is still being smoked while they're around.

no live music any days, updated music playlist is always playing though
