Our server Carly was amazing! Fast friendly and understanding. I had to send the lobster and crab rolls back because they were cold and the wings weren't as saucy as I like but the vibes are incredible on Sunday Funday! The drinks were flowing and the bar was fast! If you want to have a good time and enjoy good music and drinks this is the place to go and it's a mix of all ages and backgrounds where many Htown influencers and entertainers frequent!

Happenened upon this spot during Houston Rodeo Black Heritage Weekend and WOW -- what a fun find! The music was great, the staff was super friendly, and the whole vibe was just amazing. I had the lobster roll and it was soooo good -- the bread was super soft, buttery, and absolutely delicious. The food overall was really good, and this is definitely a place I'd come back to again. Such a nice spot!

This is a must do in Houston! My friends and I went for Sunday brunch and had a great time! Destiny was our server and she was on point! She was pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu, and made great suggestions! Everything was great from the drinks, the food, the music, and the crowd! It was a total vibe! I step out the box and tried Lamb Empanadas...yeah you read that right! They were amazing!

I recently visited The Savoy with my cousins for the first time and I will be back for sure!! We got there early afternoon and we were able to be seated right away. The DJ was amazing with their set and the vibe was everything. I had the catfish and grits entree and it was beyond delicious. Our server was very attentive and answered every question we had. I did not have to wait to be served. She was there to check in on and take care of us the entire time. The only suggestion I would have is that they serve the dinner menu a little earlier in the day. We got there around 3:30 - 4:00. My cousin wanted the loaded fries, but they only serve them after 5 PM on Sundays. Outside of that, great place to kick it, have some drinks, hookah, and great music!! Kudos!!

Service was slow but I had a fun time. I made reservations because a Sunday night on Emancipation is not for rookies. My cousins suggested the fried rice because they love it and I see why. It had the perfect amount of spice and flavor. I also rode the bull!

came here to watch the Texans play and eat some good food. Both were a win!! Go Texans. We dined outside on their patio and our waitress gave us great service. The place is decorated with lively pictures and very colorful. They even have a bull outside. Everyone enjoyed their food. My only complaint was the champagne for the mimosa. Although it was a good price it was too sweet for my taste buds

Ended up here with hubby because I wasn't ready to go home and had a great time. We had a table on the patio, right by the mechanical bull. Crowd seems to be mixed late 20s-40s. Our waitresses were nice and welcoming. Food was good and the drinks were strong. Stop by if you're in the area:)

I go to the Savoy every now & then for a quick drink or to have something on the happy hour menu. I love the layout & there's plenty of outdoor seating with TVs & fans. The service is better when you're sitting at the bar than sitting anywhere else, and it can be difficult to flag someone down to help you. I've once sat for 15 minutes without being acknowledged. They're always playing good music, but sometimes it's too loud to the point where you can't hear the person you're conversing with. The parking is a nightmare in that area, sometimes I have to park a few blocks down, and there are also times when they charge for parking. It can get pretty busy in there but overall I do like coming here.

The Savoy was a stop on the Thrill Wheels as well as Kulture Rides. Plenty of outside seating and the mechanical bull located in the back to take spin on. Indoor seating high top tables and lounge areas. The bar was larger enough to accommodate a drink order without being lost in the crowd . The decor and vibe gave let's chill or partake in watching the game on a huge screen in the back . Drinks were priced reasonable this was shots of D'usse . Restroom was clean but no paper towels oh well you win some you lose some . The crowd was a mixture of ages overall its a good spot to meet up and have drinks or a meal .

This place was amazing! We went to a day party and definitely drank all day. Great drink prices and selections. They have a amazing patio outdoor space. I still haven't seen the whole building lol. I love the art on the wall and the servers are amazing; sometimes it's hard to get a hold of one because the place gets so packed but when you do have service, it is good. The bill was on par for the area And I will definitely come here for drinks again!

This is a great place to visit for a brunch and party vibe. The food was really tasty and well prepared. The fried chicken was my favorite dish. The only con was that it took a bit for us to get a server. Once we got some attention, it was smooth sailing from there. I definitely would check this place out again.

Lots of space for improvement I visited on Veterans Day after finding out about the Savoy on Click2Houston. Com. They opened for lunch at 11am. I arrived shortly after 11am and all the chairs on the patio were still stacked on the tables. I walked in to inquire and there were two people sitting at the bar eating and one stood up, and advised I could sit anywhere, so I opted for the outside area. Positives: 1. The waitress was nice and knew the menu well. 2. She was also the bartender and made great drinks. 3. The music was great, created a fun environment to accompany the long wait. 4. There were lots of screens on the patio, I can see how this could be good for game day. 5. There was plenty of seating both inside and on the patio. Space for improvement : 1.The floor was completely wet at opening throughout the entire restaurant. 2. There was no toilet paper in the women's restroom and the trash cans were not lined with a bag. 3. There was a dirty mop outside the kitchen next to a large bucket of filthy mop water. 4. There was one waitress for over 10 parties sitting on the patio. They are grossly understaff. 5. The food took 45 minutes and arrived cold. Cold food isn't very appetizing but it tasted okay in that state. Wish I could have had it hot and fresh. 6. It took 20 minutes to get the check and pay. Overall, there is potential for improvement. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant or return.

This night I went with one of my close sorority sisters and ended up smoking hookah with her. This location was dark and very easy on the eyes. It showcased a heavy middle eastern influence since hookah is heavy there. The variety of options are given in a menu style and allow you to pick whatever fits your needs at the time. You are also able to freely smoke as long as you would like with the occasional waiter coming to replace the coals on your hookah. They also hire their DJs every night, so the music can change and control the mood depending on what is played. The do played a variety of music from hip hop to r&b and pop, there was no shortage on the tunes just know that they will change. The downside of this place is the smoke, if you're asthmatic or have trouble seeing this place might pose a couple of risk to you. You might have trouble breathing or being able to see the ground as you walk into the puff clouds of other patrons. There is also a mixture of patrons, some there to enjoy themselves and others to have parties and fun, if you're set on a flat consistent vibe then this may not be a place, there was someone on a couch enjoying their entire life while we were there, luckily we didn't care how they did anything it didn't interfere with us. Risk was also a major thing to be mindful of, the coals can be extremely hot and give damaging burns, people can also get sick from the hookah so be careful of the health risk and also use caution around the hookah to avoid coals! Aly the manager is so kind and opens his place until the last customers leaves and never acts pushy or rude. They've also done some renovating to the place and it looks pretty nice now. New couches and tv's at every corner of the lounge, plus they've added some nice decor to the walls. Only complaint I have is the music they play. Aly lets this amateur DJ come in every once in a while to play and test out his music, but it's just so loud and overbearing sometimes. It's hard to have conversations when the DJ is there... But besides that, I would highly recommend!

I'm just not ok with a dj who is being paid by the owner, telling folks or allowing the MC to tell folks in order to request a song, you gotta pay. If I chose to tip him, so be it, but being forced ain't cool. My biggest complaint was the price of everything. Now I'm a country chick and realize that prices are more expensive in the city. I was approached by the manager and I told her I needed a set up. She asked me what chasers I wanted and I said water and coke. I was charged separately for the water and coke that was supposed to be included in my set up.... so all together for a set up and a hookah, I paid over $60. I've never paid, IN HOUSTON, more than $10 for a set up and $35 for a hookah. Then they have small 4 oz paper cups to get the ice out with. After all this she attempted to charge me a bottle fee for each bottle I brought in. I sincerely think the young lady wasn't sure about what she was doing. Again she maintained her professionalism but she looked overwhelmed. Let's move on to those hookahs, the flavor lasted maybe 10-15 minutes and then the other lady who was helping refresh the coals was firmly pressing them down on the foil. I called her to the side and advised her that she was going to burn the shisha like that and sure enough my next puff was nothing but burnt shisha. They did replace it for free so I can't say much about that but overall....... The employees need training, I think they were overwhelmed and I think y'all were understaffed to serve the amount of people that accompanied this party... Great establishment Great employees Refine their skills and you'll be open a long time.
