I've been a couple times, I've enjoyed myself. I love the outdoor seating, Tuesday's they have really good tacos! Went on a Thursday and they had "SHOT O' CLOCK" specials which was nice. I suggest bringing a group of friends and pre-gaming with the affordable shots! My friend ordered wings which are not pictured because I didn't want to be all in their food but they were pretty decent. I personally would rather sit outside vs inside. The music is overbearingly loud when sitting indoors. Drinks are tasty and perfect for those nice patio days! read more

The food was great waitress was amazing but the music and vibe was dead like a dug up funeral we asked and was told it was pandora who wants to go to a place and listen to Drake on repeat. Just sad and for that. It was not a good experience. We bought food drinks and hookahs and still drake after drake read more

Terrible service. The owner obviously don't care. I tried to book a section for my bday and after the link was sent, no one answers any questions. I messaged several times and no reply. Do not book this place. Very shady practices as well. Read all the other reviews. read more

I brought My friends here bc They were looking for good music & Hookah! Ordered the fried shrimp which were seasoned and cooked well. Pizza and Salad were also ordered which both came out hot and fresh. Everyone enjoyed Their food although there were items on the menu that weren't available. At least half the menu tbh. The pasta for example which I definitely wanted to try! Food is also available outside. The black pepper mac was everything! Service seems to be ok, I guess. Upon entering there is seating available exposing outside for an indoor/outdoor vibe. There's a DJ in the back section of the spot who played all the right music! Large screens displaying the Lakers and other entertainment were a plus too! Most importantly They have the best crawfish catered by Krawfish 2 Geaux! Always seasoned to perfection :) Just like I'm use to in Louisiana! Corn and potatoes tender with the perfect spice! Located next to The Midtown spot! read more

Ador is great for hookah, food and an overall great vibe! Last night we had a great server but it can vary based upon capacity and who you have. My supreme pizza was amazing! My friends had wings and fries and chicken tenders and fries and liked them. I've never had any bad food from ador honestly and the DJ's are usually good too! read more

We visited shortly after they opened and asked about the hookah and champagne special that was being advertised. Unfortunately, we were told they had run out of champagne and would not be honoring the special. Instead, we were advised to go to their other location, and the recommendation was given with a less-than-welcoming attitude. On a positive note, the food was good, and the outdoor heaters kept us warm and comfortable. And the lady who told us to go to another location was the manager at least that's what she told us. read more

A'dor wasn't what I expected. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but it didn't give what they show on social media. The food was really good! And the vibe was pretty cool. Our server was really sweet, but she seemed preoccupied, and a bit inattentive. It took more than an hour for our food to come out, which I thought was a little unreasonable. It's a small place, so I get it. I was patient. But still... They just seem a little bit unorganized. But that could've just been my one off experience. Overall, now that I know what to expect, I would maybe still return if I was looking for good food and club/turn up vibes. read more

I gotta stop letting my friends drag me here. The food is the only thing that's decent. Service is so stank it's like they only let 1 nice person work there every night. Vibes are fun if they're not actively pmo with the service. Also don't bring your nice cars here lol and watch your cc charges read more

Came on a Thursday night for happy hour (HH) ! There's never not a time I've been to A'dor and not had a good time. Drinks- $5 drink specials during Happy Hour. Had a tequila sprite. Also tried their frozen cocktail that had crown peach in it and it was delicious ! Food - i believe it was 6 for $6 wings and a basket of fries.. I tried their jerk flavor which was mediocre but the fries made up for it. Overall - from happy hour to Sunday Funday, check out A'dor read more

I wanted to go here for some time and finally made it here on a wed. On Wednesdays, they have happy hour until 7 and 20.00 bottles of wine with a complimentary hookah. They also had a DJ and a band. This was a nice vibe. Service wasn't the best when I first arrived. There was only a bartender working. After we moved to a table and had a server, things were better. I had the appetizer sampler with southwest egg rolls, wings and mozzarella sticks. This was pretty decent. They have all day happy hour on Monday. It seems like they have a different special daily which is a plus because they're so many places to go. The place is actually a smaller place so I could see it not being room or a wait if they get busy. The outdoor patio is a nice size if the weather is good. read more

Honestly deserves 0 stars, advertised a $5 special flyer from 8-10 & proceeded to tell us we had to spend $450 at 8:30 to even sit in a section. Asked to move inside then and waitress said no space available but manager said all inside tables are $500+... at ador? K. Waitress and everybody else who came to the table were extremely slow & barely came back every 40 minutes to make sure the ended and forced us to buy the bottles. When we Asked to speak to the manager she was EXTREMELY hostile, basically threatened us to buy the bottles or leave and made sure our service went downhill from there, sat at the front just pointing and looking at our table and toh I couldn't tell her apart from the people walking into the club. Manager threw in some bs about it being spring break and everything had a bottle minimum, contradicting given they literally had $5 mondays advertised and we asked the table next to us and they'd been given completely different requirements. Food took forever so i asked for a refund because i was leaving and the "waitress" who was dressed in house attire might i add disappeared for an hour. Avoided me all night, spelled the sign wrong purposely despite us buying the $450 extortion bottles plus $200 "taxes". Tried to make it seem like our group didn't have the funds lol when we ended up spending way more than the minimum. Never brought working heater despite us sitting in 40 degree weather. Couldn't leave because slow waitress never came back to check table and when she did she threw her thumbs up and ran to check on houston celeb tables along with her piss poor manager, who gave the BEST service to said celebs. Review could go on and on, ZERO OUT OF TEN!!! read more

Food : 8.3/10 Service : 9/10 Ambiance : 6.7/10 Price : 8.7/10 Got to finally experience A'Dor with my girls. We went on a Sunday at 1:00pm. Friendly reminder parking isn't fun, you may get lucky and find free street parking like I did, you can park a few blocks down like some of my friends did OR valet which prices vary depending on the day AND time you go. When we arrived it was empty both inside and outside and the hostess named we'd only be able to stay for 90 minutes unless we pay $250 and then we'd be granted 2.5 hours instead of 90 minutes. Initially we were quite irritated with that esp since NOBODY was there. We opted to sit outside. Menus are avail through a QR code and we all came for the hot reviews about their pizza! When the waitress arrived (she was amazing btw) she told us that the only menu available based on how much table time we had would be brunch so we in fact couldn't enjoy their pizza. That ALMOST made us leave but we were hungry so we ordered brunch. The means came outside in to go containers which initially didn't like but it made checkout super easy. Food was food, very flavorful and portions were HUGE (even in to go containers lol). I had the shrimp and grits, and two mango martini's and paid $58. The pricing wasn't too bad for the portion AND they allowed us to split the bill. read more

2 stars for the food 5 stars for our AMAZING WAITRESS ASHLEE. ASK FOR HER! Ashlee did such a great job with my party of 12. She was our only waitress (the other 4 were outside shooting the breeze} She was friendly and attentive. OXTAIL were trash!!! They were tough and I only got 3. Garlic wings were okay. I've had better frozen from Walmart. Others had: Shrimp and grits... They left the tails on. I was watching my friend balance her plate on her thighs (no tables we could eat off of in our section) and try to get them out the shell Chicken and waffles - she said they were okay and that she had better at Breakfast Klub Salmon and grits - good! I tried some of my friends. I should've gotten that Lamb chops and grits - good! Chicken biscuits - good! I won't be back anytime soon but yall enjoy! read more

Didn't care for chocolate Goldie locks, customer service was subpar. I hate the fact that she thought it was acceptable to collect other cups and stack them, after they was resting;on the table, that individuals would occasionally place their feet. Gross! I requested her to replace those cups, meanwhile LEAVE THESE GERMY cups here, and dispose them AFTER you replace... Goldie locks took them, I'm sure she just added napkins and straws and place them back down on the table.... this is a sections where the group is ordering bottles.... "oh okay" that's how you work. Not at all what I was expecting when the word lounge comes to mind. The drinks did not taste good, so much so that I had to leave it behind. And I'm definitely not one to waste alcohol. I had an amazing experience, our waitress was super sweet, the food was food and drinks. Before coming in i slipped in mud and had it all over my shoes and dress. a worker by the name of Sandy helped clean my shoes and dress. Food and service were good. We came on a Tuesday around 5:00 and weren't many people there. The music set a good vibe and they had a good drink specials. Ambiance was cool until about 7:00. The music was so loud that we were yelling across the table to talk. We were at a 2 seater table, so wasn't ideal for catching up or conversing. As a result we left and went somewhere that had a more chill vibe. In all, I'd go back during low times to enjoy the intended company. read more

This is an on trend nice new spot. It's a kitchen lounge that was converted to a house. I came with a friend while visiting. A friend of hers was hosting a birthday party. It's not the biggest place but it can work for groups. I think their were 10 in our group. They have seating at the bar, tables which typically seat 4, along the wall they have booths to sit in with a living room style table, and they have a lot of seating options outside. The DJ was great played new and older music with great transitions between. It has a nice vibe with kind of a soft blue lighting. We got there around 9 and the place was full, pretty much only a few tables were open. I did not order any food, but I did order a pineapple drink. It came in a pineapple that was carved out. So it had the pineapple juice and Patron. It was about $30. I like the aesthetic of it so I wanted to try it but would not get it again. They have cocktails for about $12 and shots for about $7. I didn't we any special HH deals but we were there later. They also offer hooka here. Our waitress was great and super friendly. They have a few tv's setup mostly to watch sports. They have valet parking or if you get there early you can find a spot along the street. read more

A'dor is not great, but it's also not bad. There are no thrills or frills to it but, you can go there and catch a decent vibe, on a good night. I've only been twice, both times on a Monday and I had an ok time. The setting and the crowd really isn't my vibe and the drinks are mediocre as best but the service is good and the shrimp and catfish salad is top tier!! If you go, make sure you get it. read more

I like coming here. It's a nice vibe. Its laid back good music and ok service. The pizza is delicious and the drinks are good. I suggest going early because it is small and it fills up quick. Also the parking is a bit of a pain. But the have a valet lot you can park in for $10. So it's not to bad. I have only been only Sunday's but I believe they have specials through out the week. The food and drinks here are pretty good. We sat outside since it was a nice day and the inside is dark and loud. Overall pretty chill place to eat and hang out. read more

Came here for their Wednesday R&B night with a couple of friends. It gets pretty packed, so you better arrive by 8:30 if you want a free table. By 9:30 all the free seats are taken and the tables are reserved. There's both I sore and outdoor seating. The artist who performed was pretty good, but the host who kept the crowd growing in between her sets could sing too! I got the southwest egg rolls and French fried. Egg rolls were good but not great. And the fries were....fries. Drinks are reasonably priced, but the service wasn't great. It was difficult to put my order in at the bar. Servers were a little abrasive and didn't check on us that much. Street parking is available but it can fill up quickly. There's more parking in the adjacent neighborhood. read more

A'DOR LOUNGE Let's talk about their "UN-A'DORABLE" door screening! I normally don't have an issue with A'Dor Lounge, they have decent hookah, decent food & ok drinks...they just suffer because of the area and the horrible parking situation, outside of that they are still ok to frequent. That was until yesterday around 5:30pm we had decided to go to A'Dor after work to "EAT, DRINK & SMOKE HOOKAH"...you know spend money in a "BLACK OWNED ESTABLISHMENT" but little did we know that on this day they would adopt some of the "CRAZY PROFILING METHODS" that Midtown is known for when they don't want "CERTAIN BLACKS" in their club! So you know as an establishment you have a horrible "PARKING SITUATION" and some folks literally have to walk blocks in order to get to you which is already a turn-off. But after we found parking and walked a couple of blocks to get to the door...they tell my wife that she couldn't enter their establishment with her "BACK-PACK PURSE"!!?? Consider this, we've been there plenty of time & she's had the exact same back-pack purse with her every time (It current fashion), mind you it was early in the day and they weren't even popping & mind you there was no signage or anything posted like that at the entrance or on their website & to top it all off...who do they think wants to keep walking back & forth for blocks in this Houston Heat!!?? #gtfoh If you gonna start treating your black customers poorly & screening based on who want in your establishment by having the doorman start finding lame excuses to turns us away...don't complain later about "US / YO PEOPLES" not supporting your establishment anymore‍‍‍‍....& no we didn't walk back to the car to put her purse up, we walked back to our cars & went somewhere else to spend money! ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ read more

First time experience: I went there for Sunday Funday with some friends and had two awesome waitresses (Sidney & Michelle). They both made our experience at A'dor great. Very attentive to all of our needs & great customer service. We ordered several drinks and food from them while visiting. I must say, "The pizzas are delicious"! The only issue I had was with the security guards. These security guards on duty are former workers at the Address and have no respect for paying customers. I saw them walk up to several customers and remove their chairs who were already sitting down eating & drinking with their friends. A'dor management, that's bad business for the future, because these particular security guards (former workers at the Address) have always been they type to patronize the customers. A'dor management, please give them proper training on customer service or find some better security guards who know how handle paying customers. Thanks for reading my comment! read more

Service is horrible and slow, we were passed up by 3 waitress until i GOT UP went to the bar and asked the bartender about my hookah i ordered. She said she would get someone, 10 minutes go by, no one and it's now time to close. The "helpful" bartender said she'd get the manager over to refund, i couldn't wait around for him so the dingbat said "you can call and he'll give one or you can request from your emailed receipt". you lying POS, not only did the manager NOT give me a refund when i called his raggedy tail self wanted me to come in!
