Our waitress was Kim, she is super sweet, her recommendations was on point and she made us feel welcomed. Kim and the other ladies came out with our mimosa towers and gave us a little show with sparklers, it was cute. The DJ was pretty good too, the music wasn't too loud that you couldn't hear yourself or whom you were with. I'm not a heavy hookah smoker but we did have a hookah for the table... I've come here twice now and the drinks are okay and they have great specials throughout the week. My issue is the food! The first time I got the sample platter which was 6/10. The 2nd time I went I got the pasta and it was 0/10! The food was too overseasoned I could taste the dry rubs, the cheese and seasoning was clumped together I couldn't find the noodles, also it was supposed to be a seafood pasta and it maybe had 4-5 crawfish tails, 5 jumbo shrimp, 1 small bite of lobster tail, and sausage. I was so disappointed it looked and tasted disgusting. The service was okay, the girls take way too long to come to your table and they see you walk in and sit in their section. I visited A'dor for the first time on a Friday for happy hour. They have $5 you call it's from 5-8, which is pretty good deal, if you like simple cocktails. They didn't have a very good wine selection, but this is a hookah lounge and bar so it was understandable. I sat inside and they have plenty of seating, tables, seats at the bar, as well as seating along the perimeter. I sat inside until the the hookah became unbearable for me (I don't smoke hookah). I sat outside where there is also ample seating and the staff generously provided two heat lamps as it was chilly. The service was great and it was a great place for happy hour. On Sunday, I returned for a friend's birthday where we had brunch and watched football. The reason I give three stars is I was not as impressed with the brunch compared to happy hour. The pluses: plenty of TVs, lots of seating, great music. What needs improvement: the brunch options, increase attentiveness with service, and better mimosa specials (a bottle of Andre and choice of 3 juices is $25). I would return but likely only for happy hour. Also, valet parking is $20, however, street parking is free (just check the signs). read more

I visited for the first time, last night. It was surprisingly busy for a Sunday night. Not overly crowded though. The outside patio is nice with plenty of seating and heating lamps. It's also quiet outside. Inside is where the music plays and there's a DJ. He was really good. He kept people on their feet dancing and singing along. I believe they have a reverse happy hour, or it may just be a Sunday drink deal, but they had a few cocktails that were only $5. I ended up getting a blackberry margarita (not one of the $5 drinks). I'll start by giving two stars because the set up is nice. Went to this place last night with a couple of friends. We weren't really interested in eating with it being Thanksgiving evening, and the other people we were supposed to be meeting didn't show so we elected to not do hookah like we had originally planned. They were having happy hour, so everyone (3 of us in total) ordered a beverage, which we were told were $5 each, based on happy hour pricing. The waitress seemed very uninterested/tired, which was crazy because we got there pretty early (by "going out" standards). So our interaction with her was very minimal. There are multiple signs saying that the tab will be closed thirty minutes after placing the order due to Covid. When she took the order, she didn't ask for a card or anything. About 30 minutes had passed, she didn't come back to check on us, and we were ready to go. The music was subpar, the drinks were kind of watery, but they were $5 so no one offered any complaints. We made a decision to leave, we didn't feel like waiting, so we left cash on the table so we could go. Keep in mind, we have to leave through the same entrance we came. If she didn't pay attention before, she sure was paying attention then. As we're walking out of the entrance, the doorman grabbed my brother and yelled at us to stop. Completely embarrassing us in front of everyone all because she didn't even look to see if we left anything. She insists we don't even know how much the tab is, mentioning tax and gratuity as if we were lying about leaving the money. Any person who has daily expenses should know how much tax is on $5, so it gave the impression that maybe she was the one who needed to ring up the tab so she could know how much it was. My friend goes back to the table with her, from which the waitress snatches the money off of the table (3 x $5 drinks - we left $25) and rudely tells my friend "she' good"...which we already knew when we decided to leave. Keep in mind, this is after we paid $20 valet for a place we only stayed about 30 minutes. I said that to say, no one in our group had any reason to skip out on a $20 tab. The doorman also proceeds to tell us not to be offended because another couple walked off on her and didn't pay, which I do agree is sad, but she didn't even look to see. Also, if that was the case, I'd expect more attentive service to prevent that, being that had absolutely nothing to do with us. Over a $20 bill. I heard good things about this place but this was my second time trying it and was very disappointed. By far the most tasteless lounge I've been to. Was told there was a 90 min time limit on the table, only for my food to take an hour to actually get to the table. Food gave me a stomach ache! Went to A'dor this past weekend for brunch and I was quite disappointed in regards to COVID-19 precautions brunch, and overall service. Some waitresses had their masks dangling on their wrist or not properly worn. My party ordered a bottle of champagne for mimosas and our waitress brought a tiny cup for the juice so when we poured it, it spilled. The rim of our cups and straws were being touched and our waitress was not able to pay full attention. When placing our order, our waitress did not write anything down, and our orders were incorrect. The presentation of the food did not look like what is presented on social media, and was not worth it. Had we not been hungry and already ordered, we would have went to another place. While we were eating, we also observed the large connect 4 game being rolled out, however we did not see any sanitizers present. She then says, can yall sit at the lower table because this table (THE PUSHED TOGETHER TABLES) have 2 different servers. UMM WHATTT? So youre telling me....YALL pushed these 2 tables together to make it look like it would accommodate 4 people...but split the tables between 2 different servers? And no one could figure out how to service the table? She was serious as hell, and at that point we were like ok were going to go someplace else. This girl literally said ok and walked away. And so did we. FYI - they were charging $20 for parking, there is street parking available, but be careful because there was a whole windshield and clothing on the sidewalk...so they might break in over there idk, just be mindful of that. Here is the thing: if you want people to feel comfortable coming to your establishment and spending their hard earned money, or making memories there, basic customer service is going to be required. He had on a mesh black shirt and they told him he was out of dress code mind you we read the dress code policy before coming and it said NOTHING about mesh or see through clothing. I had passed this location a few times but it wasn't until I saw a happy hour promo ad about free tacos on Tuesday nights that prompted me to finally visit. I was totally blown away! You'd never guess from the outside how artistically classy the interior was designed!
