Came here on a Saturday night during Rodeo Houston weekend, so take the crowd level with that context in mind. Emancipation Avenue was packed in general, but having a section made entry seamless -- no waiting in the long line at the door, just walked straight in. Section pricing is pretty reasonable. Ours came with a one bottle minimum around $250, which is standard for the experience. The space itself was dark and had a good energy -- crowded but not suffocating. You could still move around and enjoy yourself. The one friction point was the women's bathroom. About a 10 minute wait for a stall, which is never fun but also not shocking for a busy Saturday night during a major event weekend. Honest take -- nothing blew me away but nothing went wrong either. It was a fine night out. I'm not rushing back, but I wouldn't talk anyone out of going either. If you're in Houston for a big weekend and want somewhere to post up with a section without breaking the bank, it gets the job done. Sunday funday approved. My first time here was during a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. The bar is circular and placed in the middle. Making it ideal to walk around a loop at least once to see if there is any seating. Although busy the bartenders are very quick with drinks and stay on top of things. Im so glad we stumbled upon this happening nightspot in Houston. We actually came to visit Bar5015 across the street, but we noticed the crowd at Faces so we came on over. The DJ had the crowd jumpin with old school R&B favorites (think Al B. Sure, Donnell Jones, Salt n Pepa). Everybody looked very grown; definitely not a young ratchet lounge. Classy & upscale was the vibe. I ended up meeting the owner & he made sure my friends & I got a table even though they were packed. My new favorite spot when visiting Houston. My husband and some of our friends were looking for a grown and sexy spot to enjoy Houston's night life. We stumbled across this beautiful location where we met the owners (Rick and Dee). They were both very professional and welcoming. The lounge was extremely clean, well decorated in its' modernized decor, possessed a great crowd, and their food was amazing...the fried okra was my favorite! I love coming here with family and friends. A vibe. It can be a hit or miss sometimes but overall I like it. That short bouncer has little man syndrome though. They need to bring back the tall light skin dude on door duty because little man is very rude. It's like he always has an attitude. Wish I could give this terrible place 0 stars. It'll probably be closed in 2 years. Awful place. Watched them let multiple women with sandals in then decided not to let my friend in because of her sandals. The sign literally said flips flops and house shoes. Very disappointed in this establishment. It was empty anyways, we left 5015 to meet someone here and it was literally empty. May as well go to 5015, Turkey Leg Hut, or 4212. They're all significantly better places that won't act weird and the body guards won't be on strange power trips. Enjoy your night out and don't come here!!! Mediocre I been here several times and it's always an interesting experience. I really never know what to expect service or customer wise. This place draws in some unusual people. I have seen grown men dance in groups like Chris Brown back up dancers. Also ladies with next to nothing on dancing on top of furniture. The last time I went it was super packed (at least 200 people) there were 3 bartenders and no waitresses. Needless to say you couldn't get a drink if your life depended on it. My friends invited me to their section. Mind you they waited over 2 hours for it. They received a large bottle of Hennessy but 3 microscopic cans of juice. What since does that possible make? The only perks about this place is that it free entrance and free street parking. This is another place that has potential but service has to get better. My suggestion is to hire some waitresses and bartenders that can make more than two drink at a time. I don't recommend coming here spend your money and time elsewhere. read more

I came this afternoon at the opening about 4:15pm...music was okay..drinks were good. Atmosphere was okay. About 6pm I left out to go to my car. When I tried to return I was told I had to get in the line to re-enter. One of the guys tells me that I can't remember Re-enter because I had on flip flops! I politely correct him and say "baby these are $800 balenciaga sandals please don't get it twisted"! He then tells me I can't re-enter bc I have a attitude. All the excitement was across the street. lol. Not only was it completely dead but it took them over 30 minutes to bring our hookah. Which was terrible and sadly not even the worst part! What happens when you mix the hood with readily available alcohol? Unabashed ratchetness. I've been here a couple times, but always on a time limit. A minute over can lead to some unfortunate things. None that I'm willing to stick around for. Mixed, younger, decent crowd and good music. If you get there past 12 on the weekends, you'll have a hard time getting in. They get really packed, which is good if you're looking for crowd. Strong drinks and hookah all around. After bar hopping on a Friday night with some friends the weekend of my birthday, we decided our last stop would be at Faces a.k.a. "the ghetto club" lol. I'd never been and although I'm a fan of more grown & sexy establishments, every blue moon I tend to want to kick it at a hood spot, just because. Per one of my friend's suggestions, she said it was a cool place, so I was game. In the words of Lil Boosie "we all got some ratchet in us" so there you have it! What can one expect when coming to Faces? Definitely an urban, hip hop atmosphere. We arrived around 12:45ish and it was pretty packed. The type of packed where you have to turn your body to the side at times to maneuver through the crowd. They have an outside patio area that's actually pretty nice if you want to get away from all the madness. Expect the DJ to be spinning all the ratchet cuts -Lil Boosie, Webbie, 2 Chainz, Rich Homie Quan, etc. No chill moments, so if that's what you're looking for umm, this place ain't for you boo. The downfall for me was the bar, or maybe I should say the bartenders. First off, the bar area is pretty big and you can access it from any area of the club. However the bartenders are extremely slow. OMG, I've never seen anything like it! I don't know if they were short staffed or what, but we spent an hour waiting just to get a drink! Ri "gat damn" diculous! I tried getting the attention of 2 different bar tenders but they were just all over the place. One of the guys saw me becking for him to come my way and yelled "I see you, I got you next!" but never came to take my order. When we finally got our drinks, they were way too sweet and I was highly disappointed. We only had about 30 minutes to enjoy ourselves because we had been at the bar the whole night damn near. Like really, what part of the game is THAT? The parking lot is really tight and tends to get overcrowded. They do have valet which is cool and probably your best option being that there is limited parking in the area. We left right at 2AM and it was hell getting out of the parking lot. Once I did get my car from the valet guy, I was blocked in by a party bus for about 10 minutes before the driver realized I was trying to get out. It was just way too much going on, but I guess that's expected when everybody is trying to leave out at the same time. Never again. I'm sure I would've enjoyed myself a lot better had my bar experience not been so horrible. An hour wait for a drink? That's that bulls**t and definitely killed my vibe for the night. Not sure how it is any other night of the week, but I definitely don't plan on going back on a Friday. Miss me with the foolishness at Faces. I'd rather go across the street and get my drink on at Bar 5015 instead. read more

Came here while visiting Houston and of course you have to wait in line for people to leave to go in. This place is small so not enough room to dance or walk around to observe. No dance floor! VIP even looked cramped with the non-VIP people. lol bartenders were so busy Saturday night that you felt you were being ignored and not getting your drinks. People just sitting at the bars smoking hookah and can't even get to the counter to order the drinks. This place needs a better set up. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the drink I FINALLY received ( it was nice and strong) and the music. I probably won't be back here when I am in town. read more

You can totally have an out of the norm experience. Definitely caters to a more young, "vibrant" audience where new age rap & hip-hop dominates the sound system. The bartenders need a little help as they have a HUGE bar and not enough help. From the looks, when they did pour a drink, they poured good ones.. Who ever the guy that was taking photos on 2/24/18, train this guy to not give out blurry photos and charge people $10 for them that is rude. You should at least think about your own quality of work it shows who you are. And as for the Hookahs keep that fog in an area close to the door of the patio so when the door is open the fog will go out side. Faces Ultra Lounge needs a dance floor. Remodeling should be on the list of upgrades. I see holes in the seating, need better bar stools seating focus on upgrades. As for Bar Tenders black pants and same color tops would let guest know who is a Bar Tender they blend in with the guest. With some upgrades I see this place being a better place. read more

After a hard week for my family, me & my cousins decided to drive across the city of Houston to this bar/lounge because we heard it had cool vibes. Parking wasn't terrible & they have Valet for $10 if you want to secure your car & give your mind relief while you are "Turning up". The newly renovated venue was nice but the bar atmosphere need a lot of work. Well drinks were way too high ($7)? The service was horrible, at one point there was more bartenders than people in the lounge. I, personally, have never been to a bar & the bartenders were lazy. The bar is the $life$ of the club! Parking it terrible, overpriced, and crooked af! The whole experience was as if I was paying to spend money there. The parking conditions are atrocious!!! The food options are limited to fried cold pre-made garbage. The bar staff does not have customer service skills that make one feel as if they are their for the benefit of the business instead of being served. I've been ignored to the point where I felt as if the bar staff and floor servers only cater to regulars. My food (fish and chips/fries) where cold and obviously pre-made based on the quick time it took to serve to me. The door security was rude as *#$%!!! This place sucks! If you "valet" park in front, you have to wait several minutes for them to move several cars out of the way in order for you to leave (just have cars packed ever-where to feed the greed of getting money with no consideration about emergency safety or someone having to leave right-away; ridiculous!!!
