I have to admit, I've become a fan of Hat Creek burgers for a variety of reasons. Price wise, they're pretty much in line with In-N-Out burgers, but they also offer vegan, Paleo, and Keto choices. The burgers here tend to be a little larger than In-N-Out and the fries taste much better than those terrible starch sticks served at In-N- Out. They also have some unique, if not unusual shake choices. There's also a wider choice of burgers and some sauces to go with them. But best of all, when it's time to settle up at the register, unlike most establishments, you will not be hit with that obligatory tip screen trying to get the last dollar out of you before you sit down. This location also offers a play scape for the kids and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is the fact that the chocolate shake for the money was quite small and the serving of fries is also on the small side. Other than that, I'll be back.

Always enjoy coming to Hat Creek. The employees are friendly and always in a positive mood. The food is always Hot (in a good way). My son loves coming to this location because the play area is small, but big enough to have someone to play with. I like that it's always clean even on busy days.

TLDR: An above par fast food burger. Hat Creek fills the same market niche as places like P-Terry's and In-N-out. It provides a slightly better than average burger, and a pretty decent atmosphere. the restaurant overall was clean, the staff were nice. pretty prime example of a fast food place. One nice thing they do have is they serve beer, which does set them apart. I had the "Big Hat" combo with fries. the burger itself was pretty decent. Nothing absolutely mind blowing, but I got what I paid for. Same for the fries. they do have a couple sauce options available for free, which is nice, as being charged 25 cents for some sauce is sort of annoying. all things considered, I'd put this place at slightly above a 3/5.

Saw Hat Creek Burger Company segment on the TV Show "Goodtaste with Tanji" - so we decided to give it a try. Not disappointed - we ordered the standard Little Hat and Big Hat Combos - no complaints- tasty and hot. The potato fries were generous and hot and crispy without being greasy. We were eating a late lunch - around 3 pm - so there just a few customers there - Will try other burgers next time when we are in the neighborhood.

Hat Creek Burger Company is a local fast food restaurant in Austin, TX that is a family friendly, features great food, and I got great service as well. This was my first time at this chain and the employee I interacted with answered all of my questions and with a smiling face. I particularly had questions about the different sauces that are offered. I ordered the The Fredericksburger which featured double patties, spicy sauerkraut, and happy sauce. I got a side of tater tots and also tried the fry sauce and hat sauce. The fry sauce was more sweet and hat sauce was more tangy. Everything I got was fantastic and would definitely go back again.

There's no hats or creeks in sight but there is burgers! We have been here a handful of times and recently saw an elite friend, Heather, get a veggie burger here. My teenage son is a vegetarian and we are on the quest to find him the best damn veggie burger we can. To her suggestion he added jalapenos but he passed on the grilled onions. The patty is crisp and the flavor was great! He said it is definitely a veggie burger he'll be wanting again. I went for the grilled chicken sandwich and thought it was good but not as good as their burgers. My other son had their cheeseburger and as usual, it was tasty. We also got their sweet potato fries. Usually we get a fun shake here but passed on it this time. For condiments they have a unique fry sauce here that may have some honey mustard in it or something different. Either way, it was good. We would also recommend their ranch dipping sauce. Hat Creek is a fun spot we've been going to since then boys were little. The service is always up to par and the menu is variable for all types of diets in need of fast but yummy food.

Kids enjoying the playground!

Had not been to this restaurant in a good while, and was a last minute decision. Good choice. The whipped feta is always a treat -- light and creamy with a solid feta taste, but not overpowering, served with a few orange slices and thinly sliced almonds, and pita. Special dish! Beet salad excellent, but the Fresno peppers had way too much heat, so pushed them to side. My wife had the Moroccan curry, which had a very spot on Moroccan flavor (been there 3x), and was a large, filling portion so brought home leftovers. I had the grilled pork chop which was large, perfectly grill with a tasty bourbon-based glaze, served with a large roasted garlic clove. Wonderful dish. My wife had a white wine that she enjoyed and my martini, slightly dirty with olives (to start) was a large pour and very smooth. Enjoyable meal in a nice setting once again ...

This place is so intoxicating from the aqua blue color palate and funky green art work to the alluring lighting and huge metal plate (looks like something from a ship...also their logo). My brother said the green artwork looked like broccoli. My brother ordered the Idaho trout with coconut rice and Brussel sprouts. I sampled his food and it was all good. The standout was the Brussel sprouts...crispy with this absolutely delicious drizzle. I ordered the Mezze plate with a flavor explosion and many desirable texture. It had lamb kabobs, fresh salad (emphasis on fresh) with thinly sliced cucumbers, finely sliced onions and creamy feta (never had creamy feta), red round sweet peppers, hummus with the most delightful pesto like sauce, and olives. Oh my...what a delicious lunch! Morgan, our server, was attentive and accomodating. She moved us to another table when we notice our table was rocking a little. Great catching up with my brother and excellent meal!

This burger joint fills the spot vacated by Hopdoddy when they went corporate and their quality tanked. Creative topping combos, legitimately medium-cooked patties, and friendly service. I enjoyed the aptly-named Perfect Burger, a sweet and savory combo of gruyere, bacon jam, pickled onions, and lettuce. I also snagged a few fries out of my dinner companion's basket. They were freshly fried and the right amount of crispy. The restaurant could use some sound dampening, but the din wasn't enough to deter my return. 5280 is going in the rotation!

This burger is so flavorful and juicy and is actually making me feel better. The combination of all that cheese and a touch of sauce on both sides of the bun just made my body feel good and I'll have a good sleep tonight for sure!!! Btw, despite the restaurant being very busy when I arrived to pickup my order, it was actually ready before the quoted pickup time!

He's an Austin native and recommended Bartlett's as his favorite restaurant in the city. When I walked in, every table--and even every bar seat--was full of people enjoying food, drinks and conversations. We didn't have a reservation, so we waited for a table or bar seat to open up. Fortunately, it wasn't long before a booth became available. We ordered the spinach dip, the French dip sandwich, and a half rack of ribs. The spinach dip was delicious and generously filled with spinach. It wasn't too salty, so the natural flavors of the ingredients really came through. Even the chips were crispy, light, and not at all greasy--a feat in itself. For me, the star of the show was the famous French dip sandwich. I try to stay away from carbs, but the bread complemented the meat perfectly. The au jus wasn't even necessary because the meat was so juicy and flavorful. The bread was soft yet sturdy enough to hold all that delicious meat and juice. It was a fantastic sandwich, and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I finished the meal with a slice of cheesecake topped with lemon blueberry. It was beautifully made, not overdone, and had the perfect density.
