Great service...beautiful atmosphere. 1st time here. The pork tenderloin was good with stuffed chorizo in the center. Would come back next time !

Shrimp Mojito dinner special. Jack Allen's 4-16-26.

Whoever came up with the Shrimp Mojito dinner special is a genius. So delicious!!! Our server Brett was excellent and checked in often. Atmosphere, music and vibe of this place keeps us coming back.

13 spice chicken pasta

Jack Allen's is always a favorite. We really like their varied menu and there is always something for someone. I had the 13 spice chicken pasta, which was 'good' but wouldn't be a favorite only because there was no real 'bold' taste out of the 13 spices claimed. But, I wanted to try something different and I did and don't regret it. The waitstaff are always pleasant and give the appearance they like their jobs.

Sweet Chili Shrimp & Noodle Salad (sort of eaten- I was hungry)

I haven been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had an opportunity. Everything is fresh and locally sourced (bonus) and so delicious!!! My mom and I both had salads that were giant and the amount of protein on them was a lot- nothing skimped on. Our waitress was awesome and the atmosphere was relaxing and clean. The only thing I would change is more local drafts. Besides their seasonal, they were all the norm you find most places (and I live in New Braunfels), and I wanted more options that were a little less mainstream. I did enjoy the Lazarus Brewing Pils, though! I will definitely return when in the area!

While in town I wanted to try something new and this place was a great choice. The atmosphere and decor were consistent throughout with the dim lighting adding to the ambiance. Our waiter was attentive and offered some great recommendations. The margaritas are definitely a hit and the perfect combination of sweet and spice. I ordered the chicken pasta it was very creamy I wish it had a little more flavor but overall was a solid dish. I would love to go back.

Service was fantastic! We were a party of 7 and in no rush. Our server took great care of us. We didn't have to ask for much as he kept anticipating our needs. My friends ordered a variety of things catfish, chicken, salad, special wild mushroom enchiladas (no longer available) which they said was divine. The only downside ***for me*** is there are limited vegetarian options other than salads. Five stars for the carnivores. My friends really love all their locations in the area. I usually just agree to go along. As far as the menu, it would be nice to see a list of side orders versus having to read through all the entrees to see what can be ordered. I mean I get they want people to order the entrees, but sometimes you want small bites other than appetizers.

Ruby red trout salad

Love to come here for lunch! I almost always get the Ruby Red trout salad because it's amazing and the perfect amount of food. Everything on their menu tastes great so you cannot go wrong here. I love that they have a GF menu and staff is knowledgeable, I only wish there were more options. One of my favorite places to eat!

Chicken Fried Pork Chop

I haven't been to Jack Allen's in years and boy have I been missing out! The service was great! I felt like I was being served for my birthday but it was just a normal occasion! Justin and Nick was great and very attentive! Beautiful place for a date night ambiance was nice! The star was the pork chop! The mashed potatoes and veggies! Everything was full of flavor! I will be back, Monday through Friday for their 3-6:30 Happy hour

I had an amazing experience at Jack Allen's. We made a reservation and were promptly seated with a great server. I ordered the Killer Burger with Swiss cheese, Thousand Island dressing, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes. I really liked the way my burger was cooked and the flavors of everything. I ordered a mix of sweet potato fries and regular fries and loved the regular fries! This a great place to go with a family because it's lively without being too loud to hear one another. I can also see this being a great place for a dinner with co workers or even a date night! We came here for a casual dinner and it was perfect as well! It's Austin so there's no dresscode but feel free to dress up! I've been here a handful of times and never had a bad experience here! I have yet to save room for dessert but their menu (the server's memorize the menu!) sounds amazing!

Yes and no. When I went, it was enclosed. It looked like one side/wall can open up. It did not feel like a patio when I was there.

Yes - it's a set Brunch menu now.

Do they sell shirts? if so how much before tax?

i don't think they do. i've never seen any shirts to buy when i've gone there.

Do they offer ordering to go?

They do!

Is the brunch on Sunday only or does it include Saturday?

It's just Sunday

Sunday brunch vegetarian friendly?

Yes - just pick off the meat... kidding. They have lots of options.

The space mixes art deco with a little bit of Spanish flair, tucked beside/adjacent to Mama Betty's. It's big, but arranged in a way that still feels cozy and social. The crowd? Late 20s to early 40s. Grown and attractive. Lively but not chaotic. Vibrant without being loud. Perfect for dressing up a little, socializing and lingering a little. We Ubered there, so I didn't get a full picture of the parking, but it seems like there may be a little parking garage or validated parking area? Maybe a pay for parking? I would read other reviews. Most of the staff? Fantastic. Professional, warm, funny. Our assigned waitress, however, gave off overwhelmed and low-energy. She was short with communication and it sort of dulled our sparkle for a moment, but the drinks and vibes quickly brought it back. Had we had another waitress, this place would have been a 10 out of 10. On to the drinks: Round one: espresso martinis (made with Tito's). Slightly sweet, bold, smooth, and very sippable. No coffee bean decorations on top, but full of flavor. No cream inside...sort of reminding you of a Black Russian. Served in a ribbed coupe glass. Round two: French 75s with Hendrick's. Punchy lemon flavor, a tad sweet, lower champagne notes but still giving French 75. Garnished with a dried lime slice instead of a lemon. Served elegant in those ribbed coupe glasses (which fit the aesthetic perfectly). The cocktails are well-crafted and intentional. They aren't overly boozy, but they are balanced, smooth and polished. Bathrooms? Immaculate. Unisex. Private stall rooms with their own individual doors. Efficient and modern. No long lines. Opportunity to mingle with the opposite sex in the bathroom if that suits your fancy. Foxtail feels like a good place to start a new chapter. We had good conversations and we enjoyed staying out just a little longer than we planned. Their Happy Hour (4:30-6pm weekdays) is officially on my radar for the future. I'll be back. I want this place to be routine. 9 out of 10.

It's a very cute bar that you would expect to see in downtown Austin. The service was extremely fast and by the time we got all of our drinks, our table at Mama's was ready. So it definitely was NOT an hour wait. And it was a Saturday. We ordered some wines and the Parmesan fries which were really good. I would definitely come back here again.

We had the bruschetta board and two paninis, and every single bite was competing with the last for best on the table. And the cherry on top? $6 glasses of delicious wine that carried us right through the meal. This place alone almost makes me sad to leave Austin tomorrow.

Another nice thing is that there's a huge lawn where kids can run around and play and entertain each other. The margs were standard, as were the chips and queso, but we really enjoyed the complimentary salsas. Our mains, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. One of us got the mixed green salad with shrimp, which felt more like an assemblage of ingredients than a composed dish (dressing was good though). The other one of us got the Connie's crispy tacos plate, and those were really not good at all...like Taco Bell level. Our kiddo got the nachos with some chewy and unappetizing diced beef on them. Service was friendly and mostly speedy. Despite the food being pretty womp-womp, we do think we'd come here again because we digged the vibe and whole indoor-outdoor setup. Three stars for now, with the hopes of it improving on a future visit.

I thought it was so cool beans and had to go check them out - and I did on Christmas Eve last year. Yeah, so last year Christmas Eve I was getting my last swim in. And spoke to a couple of buddies who I met there about what they were planning to do over Christmas. Well, both of them said not much and I told them I was gonna head over to this bar called Lala's that celebrates Christmas all year round. They also never heard of it, but we ended up meeting up there later that night. The place was packed, and everyone was dressed up in their Christmas sweaters, and there was a countdown clock to Christmas Day, which I thought was really cool. We hung out there until the clock past midnight and to a shot for Jesus's birthday. I don't think Jesus does shots on his birthday so we figured why not, it's a really big deal, and so we'll do a shot in his honor. Amen. My friends really liked the place and I enjoyed it. A few few months later, a friend of mine came in from out of town and I told her about this bar and she got excited and I took her there and she really enjoyed it too. Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks.
