I bought a pair of shoes that, unfortunately, didn't fit once I got them home. When I returned to the store to request a refund, I was told the item was part of a "one-time sale" and non-refundable. I explained that this policy was never communicated to me at the time of purchase. The associate by the name of Esme, pointed to a small red sticker on the tag and said, "the cashier should have told you." When I explained that the cashier hadn't mentioned anything, Esme told me "it's on your receipt." I replied that most customers don't read fine print on receipts after a purchase. Frankly, I feel that the two methods used to communicate the final sale policy -- a red sticker with no explanation, and fine print on a receipt after the purchase -- were the least effective ways to make this clear. A red sticker could easily have been accompanied by the words "FINAL SALE" or paired with signage on the shelf to ensure better transparency before customers make a decision. What I found most upsetting, though, was Esme's response when I asked her what I was supposed to do with shoes that didn't fit. She replied, "you do whatever you want with them." I found this to be extremely dismissive, unprofessional, and lacking in basic customer care. I fully understand if certain items are marked as final sale, but clear communication and respectful service should always be part of the shopping experience. As a long-time customer of H&M and a small business owner myself, I expected much more. I hope you'll address this matter with the appropriate store leadership and consider improving how final sale items are labeled and communicated to customers. Came here on Sunday, September 7. It was around 8 PM. Me and my girlfriend were shopping. I was downstairs on the first floor going to pay, two registers were open at the front. Apparently one of the registers could not print a receipt. Not sure why they would be using that register if I can't print out a receipt? The sales associate at the front desk forgot to ask for my email address so she can give me an E-receipt. The sales associate could not go back and email it to me. So the manager got involved, she had to go upstairs and print out a receipt. Believe me it took awhile. Other customers were able to pay using the other register and the register I was on, they closed it. I finally got the receipt from the manager. She did not even apologize for the inconvenience. None of them apologized for the inconvenience. Honestly, I think they all had a smirk on their face. Not sure how you can do retail business if you can't print a receipt to the customer. I've never had issues in all my years of retail but for whatever reason, this was such a frustrating visit. We were checking out this outlet for this first time (surprisingly) and decided to check out this store to see if they had some exclusives we were looking for. We found this cute button up navy/white plant printed shirt but of course they were out of stock in L for my bf. We asked a worker to kindly take off the one on the mannequin since it was an L and the only one left. They refused and said they couldn't do it. Honestly I thought the guy was just lazy because we have had no issues asking this at regular malls or any other store. Idk if it's an Outlet or this store's policy for whatever reason? Like seriously, we want to give you money to buy this item that is literally the only one left in stock. And they refused. It was so frustrating, we checked around to see if maybe there were other racks that had a lingering size we needed but nope. Sadly not. Saw a T-shirt in the wild and asked the guy where he got it. He said H&M. So I went there and bought one. Too small. So I drove out of my way to get it exchanged. Never worn, all tags still on. The salesperson says she can't exchange it without a receipt, which I forgot at home. Really? So she calls the manager over who says the same thing. Really? So I say on my phone I can pull up the charge on my credit card, how 'bout that? Nope. No can do - it's an edict from corporate. WTF??? This is customer service? Not in my opinion. To any customer, this sign clearly states the T-shirts below are for that price. When I left the building, something urged me to check my receipt. Surely enough, the clerk charged me $19.85. I went back, took this picture and showed another clerk as the one who checked out my stuff earlier was with another customer. She had the "manager" come to talk to me and I explained to her I was charged different from this sales sign. She told me, those shirts didn't apply to that sales. I told her, all those shirts are under that sign so under the weights and measures law, they would need to sell it to me for that price. She refused then asked me to wait because it turns out that person was not really the manager. I was not happy with this experience. This place is fraudulent. Never going back here again. This is misleading and they did nothing to help the situation. They just simply said, "sorry but we didn't make the sign". Unprofessional and horrible customer service and very unwilling to help. This location is overfilled with people and the clothes are a mess. Just like the rest of the outlet, it gets way too full in here, poor ventilation and long lines. The clothes are hardly worth the price or wait, you are better off at any of their other locations where it is less busy. read more

They have a variety of clothes styles. I try to go once a month now cause I love their slim dressing shirts with cool patterns! When i went however, I was not charged the socks deal they had correctly. It states buy 2 pairs get one free...I assumed the female cashier charged everything correctly but she wasn't attentive and charged me 3 pairs. Other than that, i enjoy shopping here. ^_^ read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. I understand that everywhere we go now and days is COVID compliant or trying to be especially in fitting rooms and I am A-Okay with that. While at this H & M we came across an issue that I would never thought my kid would actually live to see or even experience. My daughter and I were in line to try on some clothing. Mind you my daughter is only 12 years old. As it was our turn I had asked the fitting room associate if i was able to stand by the door so when my daughter is ready I was able to see if the items fitted her properly. The associated stated to me in a rude, hostile tone of voice no one was able to stand by the door nor was my daughter was able to go outside of the fitting room and she was able to take pictures via cell phone and send them to me. (my kid doesn't even have a cell phone) -- I totally get this H & M your having all employees make sure that yes, all customers feel safe during this time. -- Well here is where I had an issue. I noticed that a Hispanic mother and her daughter was doing what I was NOT suppose to do. Yes, the fitting room associate was Hispanic as well. As for me.. I am Chinese decent. As I noticed such behavior I decided to do the same as the other mother and clearly the fitting room associate had an issue with me doing so. I stated to the fitting room associate that If that mother was clearly going to stand there and had the ability to judge the clothing her of own child I was able to do the same. I just wanted to prove my point to this associate that its not OK to be racist to other people. We are all the same! and that everyone should be treated the SAME! seriously, I had to tell my daughter that we will no longer be shopping at this store due the experience that went through. I regularly shop here, however today Jan 1,2021, was the day that made me want to never return here. I found this at an incredible price. When I walked up to the cashier, the cashier told me price was $60, and I showed her the pic and she called another associate. After her confusion, I asked for the manager, and a woman with 5 different t colors of hair came down with soo much anger. Without letting me speak, she laughed and said no, if you want it, you have to pay full price. I walked her to the sign and aggressively said, look around, and went two racks down and said, this is $19.99 not this. And I asked, can you honor this, and she said Ofcourse not. And walked away without saying anything. Very rude, very unprofessional, and unacceptable. This woman should not be manager, sales associate or anything that has to do with sales of customer care. Great place to come shop for clothes. Though the men's section is about 1/4 the size of the women's, they still have a nice selection. Their prices are cheap but that's because the quality material on their clothes is cheap. I gave it 4 stars because it gets pretty unorganized but it's understandable because of all the traffic this place gets. Their staff can also use some better greetable facial expressions. read more

Pandemic - I was the first person to line up at 10:45 to wait for doors to open at 11am. Arrows on the pavement were very confusing. I watched as people trying to figure out which way to line up. At 11:05 a worker opens the door and gave a very short and confusing instruction how to get in. I asked her to repeat it because I didn't want people behind me to trample over each other. She repeated it but again in a very rapid manner. So people just randomly went out of line and went for the door. This store is ridiculous on every single level. If you are into huge stores with shit all over the floor, thrown across racks, people trying shit on while you peruse, long lines, snobby associates and HORRIBLE management, by all means this store is for you. I never even BOTHER to look at clothes for myself here because I am not into scavenger hunting. I do go to their boys section which is a total of 3 racks. The other day I went with my little sister because she happens to love it and while she tried stuff on, I went upstairs to look clothes for my kid. Oh yea, the escalator never works and apparently the elevator doesn't either...hope you are not afraid of jumping. While I was looking at stuff, another customer asked an associate that was folding shirts in the area if the elevator was out of order because she had been standing there with her baby stroller for a while. Of course homegirl didn't know so of she goes to get management. Here comes two chicks who don't even address the problem but do hang out and start talking MAD SHIT about someone they had just interviewed. They talked about the person's age, how she felt entitled to the position, how they didn't like her, etc. etc. I looked up a few times and almost felt like clearing my throat to remind them that there were customers around but of course not one shit was given. I thought I had seen it all, but I am always proven wrong. I go downstairs and try to find my sister. As I wait for her, another customer asks this guy that looks like he hasn't showered in days (must be that hipster shit going on) working there where she can find the shoes on the mannequin. He told her, very curtly, they didn't carry them, they were just for display purposes. Then walks away..ok the hell does that? Oh yea H&M. The woman and the people with her where visibly pissed at his attitude. Finally my sister finds me and she is sorting out the clothes she was going to purchase and she placed her shopping bag on a display table. This same guy came out of nowhere and told her very rudely to remove it because he was going to fold pants on it. I happen to like this H&M. Its pretty big (one of those 2 story deals) and has a lot of specific items that many other locations dont get. I could be wrong but it seems like this is one of those H&Ms that get new shipments first. The sales associates (in my opinion) are never rude, always helpful and are somewhat efficient. I had an appointment later on, so my mentality was to grab them and leave. I find the dresses in the right size, and get to the winding cashier's line. I wait my turn and as Im getting to be first in line, these (again!) 2 chinese women straight off China Air stand next to me and slowly but surely force themselves in front of me. I say firmly but politely that the line is behind me. They ignore me and position themselves firmly in front of me. The younger one wont turn around and look at me but wont let me in front of her either. Her older companion is just giving me the stank eye from head to toe and mocking my attempts to claim my position in front of them. They even laughed as they were doing this to piss me off even further. The last straw was that when they were being served, I tried to tell the lady ringing them up that they just cut me off. Her solution? Smile at me and continue with her business. So im pissed, its 1000 degrees outside and Im running late. Someone's about to get choked. But Im no fighter, so instead of choking, whilst they were taking their time leaving the register I was called to, i accidentally bumped hard into the younger girl and then inadvertently stomped on her toes. She gasped, I "apologized" and kept right on with my transaction. I left. The End. Yeah, not my finest moment. I probably should've handled that better but fucking shit I couldnt take it any more. And yes Ill state the most relevant part of this review: the fucking employees should really do something about line cutters. I can shrug it off a few times but dont be a deliberate asshat about it. This location is a hit or miss. They're dressing rooms are filthy dirty with dust bunnies and human hair balls... every time I come I feel like it get dirtier and dirtier. I don't even like to step on the floor with my white socks because they just might turn black or I might have unwanted furball socks. Workers in the fitting room are rude and loud always gossiping. I haven't bought anything from H&M before and every time I visit an H&M I wonder why. A lot of their clothes are exactly the type of stuff I wear! I just never think about H&M until after I have already spent a lot of money at other places. This was my first time ever visiting the shops at Citadel, and I don't know if I will ever be back. We decided to come here because it has an American Apparel that's closer than any others to us. But this H&M seems to have a larger men's section than I am used to. Their cardigans seem to be really high quality (won't know until I buy one), but they come in a variety of colors and fabrics and look very nice. Definitely going to think of H&M when I want to go cardigan shopping for the Fall/Winter. They also have a lot of pants/jeans that really caught my eye. They come in a variety of colors, both bright and basic and don't seem to be all that expensive! I'm always down for a bright colorful pair of jeans! I also noticed that they have an entire section dedicated to basic Ts of all kinds (rounded, vneck, etc.) which is great! I like having a variety of vnecks to make a quick and cute outfit! The sweaters seemed nice too! This location also has a very friendly staff, we were asked if we needed help like four times. Always nice to have a staff that's looking out for you! Like I said, I don't know if I'll ever be back to this location, because there are many others that are closer to my house and school. But it's a really nice H&M. read more

OMG! I spent 25 minutes waiting in line to try on a few shorts here, only to find out that the hold up was because housekeeping was closing each of the ONLY five rooms to wash the walls!! Wow really H&M? What a brilliant strategy so I asked the manager why why why on a crowded weekend would they do deep cleaning, she looked me straight into my bloodshot, weary eyes and said 'because they get dirty.' haha I wasn't aware that greasy mechanics and cement workers were popping into H&M to try on cardigans!!!
