Adidas is one of my favorite outlets at Citadel. 4th of July weekend had great sales! It was pretty packed, but not uncomfortably packed since it was the holiday. There were plenty of great deals with sneakers and all kinds of FIFA jerseys. Staff here were always very helpful and offer bags for your shopping experience. I found many running shoes and lifestyle sneakers on sale for 50% off and great affordable pricing overall. My husband and I love shopping here whenever we visit the Citadel Outlet. What keeps us coming back is their streetwear and ongoing deals. So when they have what we want, we take full advantage! On our recent visit, we were looking for an outfit to wear for an upcoming retro-themed birthday party. While we were browsing, we were told there was a Mother's Day deal on women's attire and shoes. All accessories were discounted as well. Score! I bought a new jacket, shirt, and a pair of shoes. My husband also got a new jacket, a bucket hat, and a crossbody bag. All items plus the discounts came out to be about $210. What a successful trip! The store is organized and can get hectic. It's always busy so it's best to have an idea of what you're already looking for. The staff are always friendly and ensure every customer is aware of their current promotion. A couple of weeks ago, I visited the store and noticed some shoes on sale. I have a 10-year-old son who currently wears a youth size 5. Knowing that he is in the middle of a growth spurt, I decided to purchase both a size 5 and a size 5.5 of the same type of shoe, anticipating that he would soon need the larger size. Initially, I had my son wear the size 5, but after a couple of hours, he told me they were too tight and uncomfortable. I then had him try on the size 5.5, which fit perfectly. I returned to the store with the size 5 shoes, hoping to either return them or exchange them for a size 6, since I had the original receipt and packaging, and was within the 30-day return window. However, the employee refused my return or exchange request, citing the store policy that shoes cannot be accepted if they have been worn, pointing out the small scuff marks on them. I explained that they had only been worn for a couple of hours, and that it's impossible to know if they fit properly without having my son try them on. Technically, every pair of shoes is considered "worn" the moment someone tries them on. Despite my explanation, the employee still would not accept the return or exchange. Frustrated, I told her that she could keep the shoes, as I had no further use for them, and I left the store. I believe there should be a balance between store policy and common sense, as this experience is likely to lead Adidas to lose a future customer. read more

I bought a couple of soccer jerseys, but they weren't part of the sale. I liked the boonies 3.0 hat (ash blue is not online) and Mercedes/Petronas sling pack, so I recommend this place for F1 fans, but the branded merch will mostly be in the form of baseball caps. If you stop to people watch, their shoe choices look good. It was a late back to school shopping trip so we mostly stocked up on a pair of Sambas as well as shirts. My usual Adidas store in DTLA has been closed due to recent vandalism, so I visited the Citadel location instead. I came to return an online purchase that didn't fit, and the process was very quick and easy. Cashier (#826920) was friendly and efficient. While browsing, I found the store clean, well-stocked, and full of great sales. I even picked up a pair of shoes originally priced at $70 for only $38 after discounts! Another employee (Employee #849797) was extremely helpful, checked if I needed anything, offered me a coupon, and also ended up being my cashier. Carlos was also great -- he checked in with me a few times despite being busy helping other employees and customers. I really appreciated his professionalism and speed. Not every employee greeted me, but everyone seemed focused on helping customers and keeping the store running smoothly, which is what matters most. Overall, I had a great experience at this location and will continue making the drive here until my home store reopens. Excellent service and highly recommended! read more

I'm usually a Nike person. This was the only Adidas store that visited on this trip. This store is pretty big and had a decent amount of assorted merchandise. I wasn't planning on buying anything at this store. I walked in and looked at the sneakers. Right off the bat these bright pink kicks caught my eye. It was the Ivy Park Ultraboosts. They were so nice that I knew I had to get them. I don't even like pink, lol. I'm a size 8 and there was one box left with that size. I looked in the box and only one shoe was in there. I asked the associate for help. He was really helpful. He looked in the back stock and even had to stock person go check for it. It turns out that those were the last size 8s and the other shoe was the display attached to the cord. It was pretty much on the top shelf and I know that no one messed with it cuz the cord wasn't long enough for them to try it on. They cut the cord and brought me the other shoe. I looked them both over and they were good. I purchased it and was so happy that I actually went in there and found those shoes. read more

This store had aaaaaalot going on today... rain and all! I came in to see what deals they had and they had a lot of great deals! I got (2) packs of socks, a bucket hat and shoes all under $100! I kept coming across shoes that I liked but I didn't see my size and it was hard to flag a team member down because the music was LOUD, they had filming and promos happening in-store... Until ...finally... Vanessa! I asked Vanessa about some shoes (see photo attached) she went above and beyond and tracked down my size in the style of shoe I was looking for and I couldn't be happier! Vanessa THANK YOU AND I APPRECIATE ALL THAT YOU DID!!! Before leaving you show your receipt and I got to play... The Claaaaaw Machine! It was nerve wracking and FUN at the same time! The team member (I didn't get his name but he was so funny and nice) was there to assist, gave some pointers and I was able to get some socks... AND THEY WERE IN MY SIZE... Unorganized. Staff not knowledgeable. Confusing and conflicting info from different staff. All resulting in overcharging. Discovered the overcharge afterwards and returned to store within half an hour to let them know discount was not applied fully. Manager and 2 associates ganged up on me accusing that I was making mistakes!! Nonsense! On top of that, other reviews are correct. Not a lot of selection. Many shoe products are either very old styles or unpopular colours (think green or purple). Very limited sizes unless you're a dize 11+. read more

I recently visited this location taking me approximately 45 minutes . Unfortunately, I did not find anything I liked and decided to return a pair of shoes I had purchased at the Cerritos location. When I approached the register, the employee assisting me seemed visibly frustrated with my return and went to consult a manager. During this time, another employee was able to assist multiple customers before the original employee returned and informed me that, as an outlet store, they could not accept returns from a regular retail location. I was surprised by this policy, as it was not clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Having worked in retail myself, I understand that store policies exist for a reason, but denying a return in this manner felt more like an internal decision to avoid taking a loss rather than an official company-wide policy. Furthermore, throughout my shopping experience, I was not greeted or assisted by any employees, which may have influenced my decision to return the product rather than make an exchange. While I appreciate Adidas as a brand, this experience was disappointing. Clearer communication regarding return policies and a stronger focus on customer service could significantly improve the in-store experience. I hope this feedback reaches the appropriate management team so improvements can be made. So I came here only because I had to charge up my electrical vehicle. Walked in the store and saw that all soccer items were 50% off. Stumbled across some LAFC jerseys. Tag says $80.00 but when I was at the register it came up at $90.00. After I paid I asked the cashier "doesn't the tag say $80.00?". She proceeds to check and goes "you're right. So you want me to process a return?". Baffled, wouldn't I want to pay the price that's on the tag? Didn't even get a chance to get her name since her hair was covering her name tag. They cram a lot of stuff into a small space. Well, it's a large location, but it just felt small because of how much stuff is inside. There is little room to really wander. I can't tell you how often I had to stop and let someone squeeze by me because there was just no other way around. It didn't really make for a good shopping experience if I'm being honest. I also wish they were doing a better job in keeping things organized. Stuff was misplaced, either by size or even full on area. I guess this is on me, but I bought a pair of pants that I really liked, only to get home to realize it was a KIDS large not an adult. I just saw the size & the style and grabbed it assuming that since it was the same style as the adult clothes I was going through. It's annoying since I won't be able to go back within the return window. The good news is that the prices are great. You can really stretch your dollar here. Especially during the holiday season. And, when you finally have all your stuff, the checkout line moves fast and the employees at the register are friendly and efficient. Today at around 11 a.m. my middle-aged mother who is not a fluent in English speaker visited this store. She had her Adidas gift card damaged by an Adidas employee with long acrylic nails. The employee who damaged her Adidas gift card did not offer my mother a replacement card, and only redirected her to Adidas general customer service. Adidas Customer Service was unfortunately unable to help my mother with her complaint, and redirected her to contact the Adidas Citadel Outlet store she visited. I am leaving this review because the Adidas Citadel Outlet store is behaving unethically by not offering a replacement store credit/ gift card to replace the damaged gift card one of their employees destroyed. The Adidas Citadel Outlet store has also been unwilling to answer phone calls made directly to their location. Nevertheless, we will be visiting the store directly to find a solution to this issue, and I will be posting updates to this review. read more

Limited sizes, so limited that they literally never have mine. I think this is why I am a Nike fan, although they dont have a lot of my sizes at least i can find something. I remember having so many adidas sweatshirts and shoes back in the day, now I cant find anything. If I could at least find a shirt or some slides I'd be happy. As this Adidas is located in the Citadel Outlet, I already come into this store knowing I'll get a better deal here than anywhere else. I am a frequent shopper here and the customer service has never been great. Several employees just talk amongst themselves and never greet you upon entering, but on my most recent visit here I was kindly helped by an employee named Johnathan. I was interested in looking for shoes I could take with me to Europe. Therefore, something light and long-lasting. They were having a weekend sale that gave a discount as follows: $10 off 50 / $25 off $100 / $50 off $150 On top of that deal, they had several shoes available for BOGO 50% off! I almost walked out of there with four pairs of shoes before I realized I didn't even need that many!! Johnathan was very helpful during my visit. He gave several recommendations for which shoes would work better for me and for my boyfriend as well. In the end, I picked the racers for myself and the samba classics for my boyfriend. The sambas were $70 retail value but put my racers at the additional 50% off rate, making them go down from $45 to $22.50! In order to hit that $100 quota, I added some shoe cleaners to my order which were also discounted to $8. Overall, I spent $75 on 3 items and was very happy with my purchase! I do wish they would do something better about their customer service though, but I guess I'd set that aside since I'm really just coming here for their deals. (7/100) read more

They don't care about the customer experience, just about how fast they can ring you up and get you out. It's dingy and over crowded with absolutely no seating for handicap. You cannot call the store directly for questions (another ploy to take associates off phones and just ring up (because maybe their Ye deficit? Idk, ‍). All the employees in the store are either around the cash wrap or behind the cash wrap. There are 3 to 4 managers on schedule at a time but no one wants to "deal" with an unsatisfied customer. This store is horrible! Please check actual prices before checking out. They have a sign with 40% off the entire store to lure people in. But once you get to the checkout it's only on selected regular price items. They are constantly changing the price on their items and even remove the tags and make their own prices. I once tried purchasing a coat and was curious to see how much it was online. To my surprise the coat was $190 (REGULAR PRICE) and the coat they had in store was $220 but was missing the actual tag. The coat had a red tag with the made up price. When I asked them if they were making their own prices, they had no response. Even though the regular price online was cheaper, they couldn't honor that price. They are definitely PRICE GOUGING! This store used to be incredible 2 years ago. Now it's a disaster with the worse management and worse prices. Oh one more thing, they have a rewards program but won't allow you to use any of your coupons with your purchase anymore. When this was allowed on your entire purchase for many years. They just changed this a year ago! Don't waste your time here, or go see it for yourself. I also added some photos here. This place needs a class action lawsuit for overcharging customers! Mistakes on every receipt! Verify the price during checkout as they are scanning, not after. Promotional $20 off $100 discounts are divided in to the purchase items, mistakes require return subtract that discount, repurchase doesn't have discount and they won't do anything about it. No Big Woop! The selections of shoes are limited. The store seems to be always jammed packed with people who don't buy anything. The staff seems a bit friendlier than the Nike outlet at the same location. Still, the employees seem limited in their knowledge of the items they sell. There are plenty of main stream shoes and apparel. No real specialty shoes. You can find running and some select basketball shoes here for sure. The price? No big discounts here. Came in on a Tuesday afternoon with the family. Came in the first time bought a few things. We asked for assistance in search of a Galaxy jersey but the size we wanted was out of stock; that didn't stop my husband from asking again to the associate that was ringing us up she was kind enough to check the second time around. We came back later before ending our shopping trip. By luck we got the same associate to ring up our other items. She was kind enough to inform us that if we get another item for $20 to make a grand total of such and such then we would get a 25% discount on the purchase. We didn't find the right priced item; she then went out of her way to get a perfectly priced item. Not before checking in the back herself for the THIRD time for a jersey my husband wanted. Super sweet and helpful. I out four stars because my husband asked another associate for certain shoes yet he never returned to help.
