This is easily the largest Nike factory store I've ever been to. The selection here at the time wasn't super great for adults (the way I judge this is if there are retro Jordans in the clearance section). But you can't judge the store too harshly for that, as factory stores by nature are a bit of a treasure hunt and can change completely from one day to the next. However the toddler section was the best I've ever seen. Ended up leaving with 6 pairs. Only reason I give this location 4 stars is how busy it seems it is. I went to return shoes purchased online...they were ugly in person. The desk staff was great. Friendly engaging and knowledgeable. After I finished my transaction I decided to shop a bit I hit the clearance shelves. Everything on the wall was 30% off the listed price, great deal right?!?. I asked the floor staff for the final price on a pair of shoes marked $54 97. The first person smugly says it's $54.97, I respond "with the 30%? " He says, oh yeah take 30% off that price... I go to the second floor person and ask the price with the discount. She says, there's a sign with the price chart. I tell her $54.97 is not on the chart. She walks over to show me that it is.... She acknowledges that's it's not and says, they'll be 30something... I would have pulled out my phone and did the math myself, but my hands were full and the cellphone reception sucks. I sat my belongings down and ran the numbers, $38.48 with the discount. Good deal for shoes originally $100 plus...but the customer service killed my enthusiasm. I walked out without a Nike purchase. This location has two floors and was so busy. It might be one of the busiest Nike outlets that I've been to. It's two floors. Mens is on the first. Take the escalator up to the second floor. You'll find womens and kids. I always check out all the sneakers when I'm at Nike. They really didn't have that great a selection for women. It might be due to the fact that they're so busy and all the good ones got bought. The prices were also higher here than at Barstow. read more

My biggest complaint here is how incredibly slow the checkout lines go. They're massive and just cheap along. Even when every register (upstairs and downstairs) is manned, expect it to take over 15 minutes to check out. When we went last, it took over 20. That's madness. If we didn't have to get shoes, then we would've just left and shopped elsewhere. It would've saved us time for sure. And speaking of shoes, here's my other complaint: we came here for a pair of shoes for our 3 year old. The selection they had for kids was paltry. We've been to several Nike Factory Stores and they've always had a great experience. However, this location basically just has one tiny corner of next to nothing to chose from. It was a total disappointment. I can't speak for the other departments of this location. But our experience from the selection of kids shoes to incredibly long checkout wait left us wanting more. Yay for a Nike outlet near me. They consistently have a shoe that I like at a decent price when I do go but usually the lines are so long...that is what brings the star rating down. There also isn't a lot of help on the floor. I tried to ask for help and the person helping was pretty clueless and admitted he had no idea how to answer my question. They are also usually out of the socks provided to try on shoes. It's pretty much a self-serve store. There are 2 floors with escalators to bring buyers up and down. Browse the aisles of shoes, and you can't miss the great deals on the clearance racks! Prices are unbelievable during the holiday sales with added discounts and promotions. Tourists often come here and buy literal suitcases full of items, as the deals really can be that good! Service here has been consistently friendly and quick. Checkout lines are long, but the staff here is efficient. Don't be upset with them if you can't find exactly what you want. I will reiterate that it is an outlet store, and while they will have staples in stock year-round, many of the items here are seasonal and always 1-2 seasons behind. So I can tell you I am at this location at least 3 times or more a month because for me shopping here is all about luck. I have to go in and hope I can buy something. The chances are slim because they almost never have my size and if they do I better get it or I'll never see it again. I never by shoes but clothes I sometimes have hope. Very disappointed with one of the members I'm not going to mention his name so I don't embarrass him, but I went in on a Sunday to purchase birthday gifts for my husband. I purchased him clothing, jacket, socks. I was specifically looking for two pairs of shoes, Nike dunks specific colors. They weren't at the store so I ordered them online with a guy and I asked them three times to confirm that he added both pairs of shoes. Turns out he only added one when the shipment have arrived. He was very nice and professional. I trusted him and something. I don't know why he didn't add it to the cart when I specifically said so yes that's very disappointing. This store has so much traffic coming in and out at any given time, and it operates like a well oiled machine. The customer service reps are friendly, patient and willing to take the time and make the effort to help each customer. I didn't feel rushed, the selection of merchandise was great. The shopping experience on the floor at Nike Citadel Outlet Store in City of Commerce was great until I got to the cashier. Angie did not greet us with a "Hello", a "how was everything" or even a smile. Instead Angie, immediately showed her frustration by taking my tennis shoes out of the box with a mean and bothered look on her face. When she threw the shoes back in the box after checking that they were the right size, I told her to please be kind with the shoes and the box since they were a gift for a friend and I did not want the beautiful paper lining to be wrinkled much less torn. I only said this because Angie was being extremely blunt in her handling of the product. Visibly bothered by my request, Angie stared at me for a few seconds, said absolutely nothing and proceeded to now literally throwing the box with so much force inside the bag, making a louse noise on the counter. It was only obvious that she was now intentionally making it clear to me that she was indeed extremely upset with my kind request. After seeing her rude attitude, I held back and said nothing because my 2 young daughters (ages 13 & 15) were with me and I did not wish the situation to escalate. In a low voice I did say, "unbelievable" in hopes that she would see that I was indeed very disappointed with her service. I paid and Angie did not bother to say "thank you for shopping" or "have a great day", nothing came out of her mouth. Both my daughters picked up on Angies extremely rude behavior and as soon as we walked out of the store, they asked me "why did you allow her to treat you like that? She was was so mean to you. You did nothing to provoke her." I told my girls that it was obvious that Angie does not enjoy her job and that unfortunately some people do not have the capacity to service people with kindness and respect. Some people are not cut to be working in retail if they do not truly enjoy working with and for people, in this case customers. If a person does not have the touch to provide a good environment and be welcoming and courteous to customers, then they belong in the warehouse and not on the floor much less in front at the cashiers where they are the face and image of the company. I consider myself a very positive person and I want to believe that Angie was simply having a very bad day. Maybe a customer before me got on her nerves and I unfortunately paid the price. I don't now her reasons. All I know is that I did not deserve that treatment especially in front of my family. Truth is we all have bad days. However, I strongly encourage that these employees take the day off on those bad days, or take a break to regain themselves, and most importantly be reminded that they are there to make the Nike shopping experience a good one for all of us, including the staff members. A periodic training on customer service would come in handy as well to remind and encourage your employees to always treat customers with courtesy and respect. As a teen I worked at Carl's Jr. and later in my 20's I worked in retail and one of the most valuable lessons that I took from those experiences is that a simple smile comes a long way. Finally made to the Nike outlet inside Citadel. It had been so long since I had been there. In fact, there wasnt even a Nike back then and the outlet mall was less than half the size of what it is now. Ok, now I'm dating myself... yes, i'm old. This Nike factory store is very busy. There are 2 levels. The lower level is men's clothing and shoes. It was a little chaotic and there was only one set of benches to sit at and try on shoes. There were some nice finds on the back wall but the prices werent as low as I would like to have seen. There were several NikeLab footwear pairs but they werent discounted much from the original retail price. Apparel didnt have too many gems for me either. Maybe next time I'll score something. Womens and kids apparel/shoes are all located upstairs. Never made it up there. Most 2 level Nike factory stores I've been to have the mens sections upstairs. A visit here just tells me about their customer service, so unsympathetic and not very smart. I would give ZERO stars if I could. Nike shoes aren't even cheap and not as comfortable as other brands so I don't know why one would consider buying shoes from them. If I could, I would buy Adidas instead. I came a couple minutes after closing and came from really far and just needed to return one item. I was not going to shop around. I came all the way to return one item and they still did not let me in. How hard is it to let one person in, who lives really far away and wasted all their time to come here, just to give them back a refund?
