When I inquired about honoring an online discount for a full-price item, two girls at the register said it couldn't be applied, then brushed me off. I then located a young man (Luis) on the floor. I explained the situation, and he walked me to the register to assist me with making the purchase online, so I could get the discount. I was a bit frustrated after my poor experience with the girls, but Luis remained professional, patient, and polite. Customer service like Luis provided is rare nowadays. Went in. Store very well stocked. Line moved very quickly.! What I do have a problem with is it taking two managers and one cashier to try and figure out how to tender my partial payment.!!! I MEAN they were on calculators and cellphones trying to figure out how they would tender my $50 bill to my $110 balance. I told them how much they would tender but that was not good enough. Made me think that I was "SMARTER THAN A FIFTH GRADER.! My goodness, it should NOT HAVE BEEN THAT DIFFICULT. I just told them to put it all on the card, to forget trying. I drop by Old Navy, because it's a store for former Navy people, right? Hey, my Dad loves the Old Navy sweatshirts they make just for him. I only wish he would go shopping with me because one truly needs a warrior to get through the crowd or retain your rightful place in line. Zoo isn't even close to how crowded this place gets. Ever see Disneyland on a busy weekend? No rides, just people and clothes. I used to be a huge fan but then the Gap got involved and I haven't liked their clothing since. I don't know exactly, but they just weren't ON enough. Both times I've come here I've found stuff. Just expect to deal with a lot of little kids running around undiciplined and you should be ok. This is an okay outlet store. I have no clue why the manager of this store doesn't have more cashiers on busy weekends. I went on a Sunday when the line was probably 50 people and yet there were only 3 cashiers working (yet there were about 6 cash registers). Don't bother doing the survey for the extra 10% off, I did it then they told me the discount code doesn't work (even though I know I copied it correctly after double checking). They also don't have a lot of sizes for kids (they basically have a lot of clothes for small babies and big kids, but if your kid is a toddler, go to another store). I wouldn't come here again as they have a poor selection and checking out and paying is a disaster. read more

Even thou this is a outlet mall, some merchandise are regular priced. Never been a old navy fan but recently they got some cute clothes. I do like their graphic guys t-shirts. The place is well organized and clean but when you come in on a weekend, it's a disaster. Clothes are everywhere unfolded and some are on the floor. Kids running around with ice cream in their hands. Even adults leave drinks by the clothes that can easily tip over and ruin merchandise. I got some new wardrobe for me and for my husband since Valentine's Day is right around the corner. read more

I did not know this until I asked a sales associate/leader, I think his name is Jose, about a tee shirt I wanted to buy but the size was not in stock at the store. He placed my order on his handheld scanner/mobile device on the floor. I am not an outlet kind of girl. Messed up merchandise at half off and sometimes even less. It it's cut wrong, sized incorrectly, or out of style it better be at least half off! Ugh. It's like a bomb went off every time I am in here. They must have elves that come out at night and magically make the place cleaner and straightened up for the morning...or at least I'm assuming they clean up at night since every time I am in there during the day it's a mess. Way too crowded. Kids all over, people acting downright crazy like they are giving away diamonds. I mostly bought socks at Old Navy but I owned a jacket from here that was too boxy. My friend and I went here to look at dresses and she dared me to try on a pair of kids' shorts but they fit. Let me just tell you, I'm not a huge fan of Old Navy in general. Something about the advertising, their target market.. doesn't suit me. However, that being said, their jeans are actually quite good - which was a shocker to me. I only tried on jeans because my boyfriend has and loves the "loose" fit jeans, so I figured I would try on a pair just because... That being said, I have a hard time finding ANYTHING else besides maybe cheap flip flops here. BUT, that's Old Navy and not this particular location's fault. I went in on a Wednesday, 45 minutes before closing... perfect time to go. Nobody was there, sales associates were available (was not greeted but then again I beelined for the jean section). Fitting rooms open. I know, I know, I hate being that "last" person in the store but it's just the best time to go. Anyway, what I was going to say was that even though OldNavy.com has a sale going on right now - you can find basically ANY guys' jeans for $25 versus the normal $29.50 (women's jeans are few and far inbetween, with not many sizes available), if you go into this store, you can get ANY jeans for $22.99, on a regular basis. Not just for a Memorial Day special. They also had a 40% sale on mens v-necks, so they were $7.50 versus $12.50, woohoo :) Selection is just fine in the store, I didn't run into any problems... except I wish they had more variety with their washes, but that's with Old Navy and not this location in particular. read more

I have long forgotten Old Navy after high school. The environment was a bit too wild (kids running around, mothers screaming, unorganized clothes, etc.) and the quality was just alright. Instead of the warehouse look, I was digging classier shopping environment and that's when Banana Republic captured my heart. The wait to get into this store and for the cashiers for dirt cheap clothes is worth it if you can tolerate it. I don't like the idea of 100s of people rummaging their fingers through my clothes though. read more

Terrible. The selection was ok. The prices are ok. But none of that matters if it seems like customers are a bother to the staff. Two different employees were literally upset that I was browsing racks where they were stocking or pricing or whatever they were doing while I was inconveniencing them with my patronage. At first I was really sad that I could not find the dress that I fell in love with and even spent 30 mins going through all the clothes to see if I can find what I was looking for. After the time spent, I had asked Vanessa if they had it in stock and she offered to order it online with free shipping. At that point my mood changed. Joana ended up helping me with my transaction and helped me order the dress I was looking for and was very sweet and polite. My experience at the store was the only pleasant service I received from a number of stores. The mall is too packed and most employees seem to dodge customers. Took a look at the Citadel to see what I could find for an upcoming trip. Stop by the Old Navy store and I have to agree with some of the other reviews, it lookes like someone set off a bomb in the place. Reminded me of an indoor swap meet store. A lot of the merchandise is just stacked up on tables. Didn't appear to be any staff available. Unattended children running around. Ranchera music comming out of the speakers. The prices are not bad but you really have to dig to find something decent. Definately not anything close to one their better stores. read more

We go and shop to old navy at least once a month ... and today was the first time that a cashier ask us if we where going to use our points money me and my mom looked very lost and he new we looked lost so he started to explain how if you shop with the credit card old navy sends you points that are consider money and they send it to our email ... and when I check my email I had $50 worth of points ... from 80 something dollars I ended up paying $30 something ... what a Discount we saved so much money and because of Labor Day most things where on discount ! Thanks To Kevin for taking his time and explaining us how it work ... we would of been able to use our points a long time ago but unfortunately they expire so we been missing out . As someone who works retail and understands how frustrating dealing in a high volume store can be, the service here is sad. I love old navy and I'm a loyal customer to the brand. This location is super busy and can be hard to shop. I went in looking for jeans in a certain wash and was unable to find a sales associate to help me. I went to the fitting room and she was great! She had no support and walked me over to who I assume was a manager "Roxy". I can't believe she runs this place. Very rude, didn't even bother listening to what kind of Jean I was looking for. Cut me off right away and simply said what you see is what you get. If it wasn't for this sick deal I'm getting I would have thrown my items at her and walked out. read more

Leo at the register at old navy citadel is by far the rudest person I have ever met . Discount shopping at the citadel also comes with discount customer service . We were literally being trampled at the register and we asked for help or to move us to another register LEO said we can't move I then asked for a manager LEO then told us no one was available to help . Right at that moment a manager walk up really Leo was right the manager was also no help finally after making scene they moved us to another register. I always stop by when i come to the Citadel to see if there is any kind of decent sale. I think the last time i found anything decent was over 3 years ago. But i keep coming in if Im shopping this mall. I think its because of the shock value of what kind of flimsy or tacky crap you will find here. Wierd shit you would never see anywhere else like mens polo shirts died bright neon blue or hot magenta...i mean who the f--- would wear that unless they're going to clown college or unless they are an aspiring actor trying to land a bit part as a comic book villain in a play or movie. Once i saw this pair of jeans that had this insect metallic green waxy sheen to it. They were like $6 on clearance and this was in the middle of the summer, nowhere near halloween. I tried them on and i swear it made me look like a badguy thug in the 60 s batman series. Somebody has to buy this stuff because if you go back 2 weeks later, that stuff is gone and theres some other cheap or bizarre seconds in its place. I sometimes will buy the Old Navy Jeans if there is a decent sale, but have stopped buying their t- shirts or anything else...it doesnt seem to last more than a few washes without looking like a rag. Theres also a funky smell as soon as you enter this store like some kind of musty soapy smell...kind of like a funky locker room with a permanent body odor smell that somebody attempted to clean up with some kind of industrial disinfectant so now it has two opposing stinks. Thats my impression at least. Anyways, id only give it 1 star because of the generally crappy merchandise, but i give it an extra star because of the entertainment value of some of the bizarre stuff that must have been a mistake made in some chinese factory that finds its way here. You know, maybe a rugby style shirt in charteuse green and magenta with a 2 foot shirt tail on the back that if you tuck into your pants, makes you look like your wearing adult diapers under your pants....on clearance for $3. read more
