Let me preface this by saying I love Lululemon leggings. I used to wonder what the hype was about until I caved and bought a very expensive pair and NoMG, they are great, high quality performance leggings. That being said, the young salespeople at this location are so incredibly rude. I just purchased an item there and prior to checking out I asked a question about an item and the young lady at the register looked at me so condescendingly and gave me aggressive one word responses. I'm writing to share a disappointing experience my father had at this store. When he tried to exchange a water bottle I'd purchased for him. I had bought him a 24-ounce stainless steel water bottle with the receipt and tags intact,but he simply was hoping to exchange it for a larger sized water bottle. However, the store associate asked him for a "bag" that supposedly came with the bottle. There was no bag purchased for the water bottle at the time. We then assumed he ment the bag given after purchase. Regardless, It felt as though the associate was questioning whether my dad's return was legitimate, even though he had all the proper proof of purchase. Never had I had an associate ask for a "bag." We found this really disappointing and out of line with the normally excellent service we've come to expect from Lululemon. As I read the reviews I did see someone made a return without a receipt. Return was made and no questions asked. So, why was my fathers item with receipt and unused questionable? I hope someone can address this so that future returns are handled more respectfully and consistently. read more

My daughter purchased me a Mother's Day gift with her grandmother. She purchased me an all white set and I'm not an all white type of girl . I went in to exchange with no receipt i appreciate the young lady who helped assist me with a color change . Giving 5 stars because one of the girls was amazing tonight with great customer service ... I went before 7 pm however one of the other girls didn't seem to bother to take care of us and helped NO OTHER CUSTOMER. The other girl was getting people in fitting rooms and recommended so many things it made me purchase more than one item. It was our first time walking into the store to shop, ever. We were greeted by Shanelle who right off the bat, was super helpful in answering questions, finding product, and giving suggestions/advice on which products to buy/colors. This new location is HUGE! Much bigger than some of the Lululemon's I've been to ( & trust me I've been to a fair share in the OC). The other big locations are Newport & South Coast! They had their teeny tiny pop up shop at Cerritos Center for a while & I am glad they are staying permanently. The store is well organized & when I stopped in it was not very busy & customer service was amazing. Unfortunately they did not have the item I was looking for but did offer to place an order for me, since I was in a time crunch I opted to search around some more before ordering online. This location is the best! The employees are always kind and helpful, there's always sales, and the whole place itself is big, always neat and tidy! My friend had gotten me Lulu shorts ($78, Fast and Free) for Christmas and they were too big. I've been super busy so I ended up coming around early February to get my exchange. I come inside with the shorts, tag still on but no receipt, as it was a present. I told the cashier my problem and she asked me questions such as the phone number and email of the person who purchased it. I had both answers but unfortunately none matched up. But luckily she was kind enough to give me the exchange anyway! The shorts came in through shipping which was super convenient. Every time I go in this store (and in the past week I've been 4 times), the customer service is great! Today, Melanie stood out though and I needed/wanted to share our experience. My friend and I went in for him. He hasn't been into a Lululemon in over 5 years and really only shops online. Obviously the styles have changed since then so he was unsure what style to get. I suggested the ABC trouser to try on since he wanted something that could be worn for a professional look but comfy. His previous sizing was 30x32 but when he got them hemmed he ended up not liking the length he chose as it showed a bit too much ankle. He tried the 30x30 and 30x32 and ended with the 30x32 and is hemming to 30x31. Melanie was exceptional with him. Offering to get multiple sizes to try, colors, looking at stock (since he doesn't live here, needs them hemmed and preferred to take care of all this in one stop) and giving her opinion which was requested. He also wanted to try shorts and she took him to show him his options and explained the lengths and feels. He bought a couple as well. It was pretty busy being a Friday night and Melanie was manning the fitting rooms as well. She did a great job greeting everyone, getting them a room when free, getting others sizes, checking stock AND literally being a personal shopper to my friend. She could tell he needed thorough care and she provided it. All friendly and with a smile too. So thank you Melanie! Their customer service has been excellent, and the staff is very welcoming. Important details: SAFETY * All employees wear masks * Temperatures are checked upon entry * They have a limited capacity in store (lines are usually the longest during the weekend) WAIT TIMES/LINES * Lines are the shortest during the weekdays * Average wait times during the weekends have been around 30 minutes * There's no capability to book shopping appointments like other stores * You may add yourself to the waitlist once you arrive in person, and you will receive a text message once ready SERVICES * Currently all fitting rooms are unavailable to use * Hem/tailoring services are still available if you know your measurements (how many inches you would like hemmed) STOCKED ITEMS * Decent selection of the basics - Aligns, Tracker/Hotty/Speed Up Shorts, ETS tanks, large selection on Dance Studio Pants/Joggers/Adaptive State- however, not stocked with as many sizes as larger stores (Costa Mesa, LB) * For non-sale items, if it is sold out online, it is probably sold out in-store - I did not see any 1/2 Zip Scubas or Groove Pants here. Went to get some lululemon clothing hemmed. Usually I get an update that my hemming request was submitted via email within a few minutes of leaving the store. This time I did not get an email. I waited an hour and still no email about my hemming request. I was worried that my expensive lululemon clothing would be misplaced or lost. Had to drive back to the store 20 minutes to redue my hemming request. I spoke with a worker and they could not find my hemming request in their system. Once she initiated a new hemming request I got an email in 1 minute confirming my hemming request. The original worker who helped me stated they did not hem my type of clothing but when i told her i got the same type of clothing hemmed at this same location the prior week she took in my request. This store has issues with removing security devices after purchases. Not only is it a major embarrassment, but it's an inconvenience and leaves a bad first impression. An associate cleared the security tags, roughly shoved hundreds of dollars of products back into the bags and then handed them to me with items still loosely hanging out the top. I had to waste even more time re-adjusting things myself to make them fit as I stood there mortified. Not a good shopping experience. Paying customers shouldn't walk out the door embarrassed by false alarms. read more

I love lululemon and not once did I ever have a bad experience at any of their locations. I went to the cerritos location today to buy a few things. They have less stock compared to other locations, which is ok, I was still able to find some cute pieces. The only negative review I have was the girl who rang me up. I didn't get to catch her name but she was rude speaking to me as I was checking out. No smile or anything throughout the whole transaction. Also if you're a first responder, they make you do some verification process online and will not honor your badge in store. I never had this issue at any other location. I most likely won't be shopping at this location more so because their customer service needs improving. I can't speak for all of the employees of course, but this girl definitely needs some lessons in customer service. read more

I purchased the men's blazer online and took it to the Cerritos store to have the sleeves altered, they pinned up the sleeves and placed my work order. I received notification a few days later that my work order is complete and ready for pickup. I brought the jacket home and had my husband try it on, to our disappointment the sleeves had not been altered. I returned to the store after I pinned the sleeves up again and explained the situation. I was now told that alterations on the men's blazer sleeves are not complimentary and there would be a $35 charge. This was my third visit to the store, their explanation was that the sales associate is new and would I like the sleeves altered for $35? I do not see that a training issue is my problem, very disappointed. I will not shop at this store in the future. Poor customer service. read more
