Over the last two and a half months, I have made approximately nine purchases through the Adidas website using both home delivery and the Click & Collect service. During that time, I successfully picked up orders from the Adidas Los Cerritos store on four separate occasions without any issues. My experience has always been simple: I enter the store, wait in line, provide my order information, and an associate retrieves my purchase from the sales floor or back stock. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was completely different. When I arrived to pick up my prepaid order, I was assisted by an associate named Angel, who has a "Trinidad" tattoo on his neck. From the beginning, his attitude was dismissive and confrontational. After I provided my order number, he told me he could not release my order, even though the exact item was visibly available on both the sales floor and in the back stock. I calmly explained that I had successfully used Click & Collect at this location several times before, but he repeatedly interrupted me and insisted he could not provide the item. My only goal was to pick up merchandise I had already purchased the night before. Angel eventually checked on the order but returned saying it was not ready for pickup. I explained that I had already paid for the item and it made no sense to purchase it again. Another associate, Michelle, then stepped in and handled the situation professionally. She took my name, phone number, and order number and said she would investigate the status of my order. Unfortunately, Angel's behavior escalated. He became verbally aggressive, using profanity and making comments such as "shut the f*** up" and "I swear I'm going to s*ck you." He then called for store security, despite the fact that I had remained calm and respectful throughout the interaction. Several customers waiting in line witnessed the incident, making the experience even more embarrassing. I informed Michelle that I wanted to file a complaint against Angel. She apologized and said she would speak with the store manager, a gentleman with blonde hair who wears glasses. I explained the situation to him, and he stated that the Adidas website was providing incorrect Click & Collect information. However, that explanation contradicted my previous successful pickups at the same location. I questioned the purpose of offering same-day Click & Collect if customers cannot receive items that are physically in stock. I had specifically purchased the merchandise to wear to the Colombia vs. Portugal match on Saturday, but I was told I would have to wait another five or six days to receive it. The manager suggested I buy the item again in-store and cancel my online order, but that was not possible because the cancellation window had already expired. Until this incident, I had always enjoyed shopping at the Adidas Los Cerritos location and had never experienced any problems. While I would consider returning in the future, Angel's behavior was unacceptable and reflected poorly on the store. I hope Adidas reviews this incident and provides additional customer service training so that other customers are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve. read more

I came into adidas to look for some Sambas. It was super busy, and I couldn't tell who worked there or not. They didn't have uniforms, matching lanyards or anything that said Adidas. Some were wearing a walkie and an ear piece. I finally found a guy to get me a shoe size. Waited, waited and waited. Then I see him with his backpack and water as if he was leaving. He saw me and said, my bad what size did you want? I ended up leaving and buying my shoes else where. read more

Bad costumer services. I tried to exchange a jersey just for a different size and a worker claimed I washed it. The shirt was new and had never been worn before. I had my receipt and tags still intact. Ridiculous store employees need to treat costumers with respect, seems like i'm not the only person that has experienced this issue. read more

1 Star I had a very disappointing experience at the Adidas store in Cerritos Mall. I went in to return a shirt because I wasn't satisfied with the quality. I had the shirt, my original receipt, and I was well within the 30-day return window. Instead of helping me, Alejandro and Ashley immediately accused me of washing the shirt and used that as the reason to deny my return. I never washed the shirt, and there was no proof to support that accusation. It was frustrating to be treated as though I was being dishonest rather than having my concern addressed professionally. Whether they believed the shirt had been washed or not, the interaction lacked professionalism and customer service. I expected a respectful conversation and a clear explanation of the store's policy, not to be accused of something I didn't do. This experience left a very negative impression, and because of how I was treated, I won't be returning to this location. read more

Update: I made the returned to the Citadel outlet location. They processed my return, and I informed the amazing salesperson about my situation in Cerritos. She assured me that they were mistaken and that it was likely a person who was still training. However, it turned out to be a clueless manager. "Dumbass manager" read more

I was trying to purchase the Chinese olive jacket with the same discount I had received online. However the jacket I purchased online was too big and I just wanted to exchange it for smaller size and buy it for the same amount I got online. I went to irvine spectrum to get my finances size and they applied the discount for it but this store didn't want to apply the discount. Even though the discount works online. The manager Eric said no, every store is different. This should not be acceptable. Especially if the coupon works online and it also worked at another store. Cerritos is the only "High End Store" that doesn't allow it. Yeaaaaaa right. I use to work in retail and that is bad customer service and poor managing. That manager should be fired! He probably doesn't hit goal for his store because of his terrible customer service which is why his store cant afford to use discounts. Don't shop here! You will waste your time. read more

I gotta say. 3.5 stars does not do this store justice, at least not its staff. Sure, it's small and they had limited stock but they still managed to get us everything we wanted including figuring out that my son's shoe size matched the women's shoe size so he was able to get the sneakers he wanted even though they don't have any kids wear there (note to management, if you want future customers, best to get them while they're young). The staff was top notch! 5 stars across the board. Even though the store was busy they were very happy to help us with every request, answered all our questions and as I mentioned earlier, came up with creative solutions. So if the manager or district manager reads this, everyone working the mid-day shift at this store on November 23rd, 2025 deserves either a raise or a promotion. read more

Went in today for a simple return of an item I bought 3 days ago and is unworn. The lady who helped had the biggest attitude and claimed the pants smelled like lotion. She wouldn't return the unworn item and kept inspecting it like I was up in their scheming. Terrible customer service despite, she ended up disregarding my return and gave me attitude saying "we are not doing this today!" Like, what you mean lady? You're not doing your job today ? You're being disrespectful and making assumptions. I might have been wearing sweats but don't speak down to me and act like I'm the one sparking things up. You lucky it was the morning or I would have had a mouth on you for your behavior. I can return my unused items at a different location. We don't got to do this at all! read more

Poor planning at this location, I got a few items from Xmas, was trying to make a return at this location. But instead they were forcing me to make a purchase because they ran out of their merchandise gift cards. I live far away so it wasn't ideal for me to come back. It's after Christmas, shouldn't they have been prepared? You would think they would accommodate their customers for their mistake and just put it on a gift card, but they wouldn't allow it. I mentioned I lived far away and the cashier had the audacity to ask me which city...ummm...ok, doesn't solve my problem but most definitely didn't need a snarky response. If you're so worried about theft then don't have store fronts and just go to e-commerce. I asked for the district managers number and all she was Melissa. Thanks for your wonderful customer service. I'll be sure to not shop at either adidas again or at least for sure this location. read more

This is one of Los Cerritos Center's latest additions. I found this store by accident during its second day of opening. It's pretty close to Footlocker but on the opposite side. I ended up buying a pair of shoes and they also helped me exchange a couple of shoes I had ordered online. Pretty good experience. SERVICE They just opened and their service is good right now. Boost for life, I visit this store often whenever I'm in the area. I was able to cop several pairs of ultraboosts, but never any nmds. I would recommend stopping by early morning for boosts, because toward the end of the day they will sell out. This location is very clean, even with the high traffic. There is a fitting room just in case you need to try on some clothing. They allow people to try on ultraboosts, unlike jordan's where your can't try any. Awesome, helpful customer service. I was the second person in line when the store opened. I only have to pick up one online purchase. They took 15 mins to get my order and deliver it to me. Mine was the only one that was a pick up order. Some customers are browsing around, some actually bought something, and some had returned items. I don't understand why one person cannot go to their storage room and retrieve my item, when there are 4 or 5 staff are present. 2 were on the cashier, 2 were on the floor as sales men and 1 was actually talking to a customer. 1 of the sales man was just standing there and the other one looking at his ipad. The store manager/lead employee needs to know how to delegate work to his/her subordinates. Send one employee to the back room and look for my item in under 3 mins. The person who is returning an item can wait. And the people who are browsing doesn't need a baby sitter..... unless they are afraid that those people might shoplift. read more

Came to the mall anticipating to buy a pair of Ultra Boosts, after hearing great reviews. As I was making my way towards Footlocker, I stumbled across the Adidas store and I was like "DAWG SINCE WHEN WAS THIS HERE???!??" I haven't been to Cerritos Mall in months, so I was surprised to see the new Adidas and a Uniqlo too lol. Upon walking in, everything is displayed nicely. The shoes are shown on shelves in the middle of the store, separated by shoe model families such as Superstar, Stan Smiths, Boost, etc. The store had a wide variety. I managed to get a pair of Ultra Boosts in my size and everyone who works there are very friendly. I I took a pair of sneakers for an exchange for a different size to the actual Adidas store in Los angleles. The original shoe in the same box, brand new one and all I wanted was a simple exchange for a size bigger than the actual shoes. The store initially told me she will take the shoe and in exchange will pay $67.00 since I do not have the receipt. My shoe was purchased at for a total of $141.00 (the shoe price alone was $120.00+10 tax=11 for shipping). on line. I obtained the receipt from my son, and showed the receipt to the store manager. After seeing that she agreed to return my shoe to the shipping warehouse and wait for the warehouse of Adidas to refund, which may take 14+ days after they receive it. She also told me that I can go home and order another pair online and the store can not order it. I walked away and noted they do have another pair of my shoe size in the store and I have asked instead of going through the saga, they could take my original shoe and exchange it for another pair that they now have in their shelf? She agreed to do so. As she was completing the transaction, she told me I will need to pay an additional $10.90 more since shoe price went up to $130.00. I paid the difference at her request and walked away with the shoe at a total cost of $151.00. Is this appropriate? How did the shoe price of $120.00 went up to $130.00 in 1 hour?
