I will be back for the combat boots I just wish they were waterproof so when I go hiking they'll last me especially in wet conditions and hikes with waterfalls. I totally recommend the warehouse sales. The deals range from 40% on up. Regularly priced items are way too expensive in my opinion. The markup is insane when you go to the warehouse sales you'll see what I mean. They've gotten rid of some really good pairs of pants that are worth buying over and over again but they no longer carry them anymore. If they kept carrying them in the warehouse sales I'd keep on buying more of them. The pants are tough so great for outdoor use like camping and hiking. These pants and shorts I bought that are my favorite have a total of eight pockets. Four in the front and four in the back. They are so versatile for my usage but they no longer carry them but have other kinds but they are no big deal or as worthwhile like those ones I bought in the early stages of me shopping here. Oh and make sure you try on everything you buy because I made the mistake of trying on a color I didn't quite like l, which fit fine but found a navy of the same model and bought that one. I went to the 5.11 store in Commerce wanting to exchange 3 CCW shirts that I bought to small. I was able to exchange two of the shirts. The third shirt I was not happy with and wanted to return it. The manager told me I could get a store credit. I said ok no problem. What the store manager meant was I could get a store credit while I was at the store only. I had to buy something. I mean, you can't really miss a professional, well-made, non-canvas sign from the freeway, especially if there are multiples of them... Regardless, we made a note to drop by on our way back. Parking lot is small. We were lucky and grabbed one of the last spots, but there were a few cars when we left that were cruising in the parking lot, partially debating on making new parking spaces... When we visited, there was a sale going on inside (25% off clothing), and they also had a warehouse sale in the next building. We definitely grabbed shirts and pants for both hubby and myself. Such a good deal... Sales don't happen all the time so it's be best to get on their newsletter. If you don't know much about 5.11, they specialize in tactical clothing. Very useful (so many pockets!), surprisingly comfortable (trying to get out of BDU pants with a full bladder is painful), great quality (they'll last for a good while depending on the level of abuse you give it), and they're really quite adorable (pretty form-fitting, and it kind of cups the butt for both guys and gals; much sexiness). And, when considering the normal prices, the sale was REALLY good. Service was great! Came here today with my friend and the cashier there looked like he didn't want to be there although he did greet us. We bought a hat and a velcro patch to attach to the hat and since the velcro patch was packaged we didn't know how it would look on the hat. When we attached the patch it just looked horrendous and tacky. The patch didn't even look right on the hat so we decided to return it. We looked at the receipt just to make sure we could and went back. I explained the reason we were returning it and the cashier just said "all the patches are going to look like that" in this very rude tone. So I just said can we return it. He took the patch and packaging and said "next time don't open the packaging like this" in a very ugh attitude. Which we shouldn't have but we didn't think we were going to return it. Warehouse Sales. I really hit up this location for the once a month warehouse sales in the back. Sign up via email to get the dates, but usually towards end of month. Warehouse sales have really great prices. Items change every month depending on what comes in from all the other 5.11 locations, but you can really get some good prices on items. For example this month they had a ton of packs starting around $30-$50. Same backs in the regular store for over $100. Dont know how that happened. Got some trainer shoes originally around $100 for $40. Items will change you just need to keep coming back. read more

They honestly have everything I've ever been looking for. From head to toes these guys have you covered. Boots,socks,cargo pants,shirts, jackets,belts you name it. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. On to the unhappy side of things. So I happen to attend one of their warehouse sales and that was exciting. The part that left me a little shocked was that I had purchased over $200 of equipment that was not great quality at all. Figures since the markup is so high. They were getting rid of all the knives for $20! Sounds like a deal for some great looking knives right?! I could have bought a sharper knife from anywhere else. I also had an issue with the 3 tactical pens I got. I literally called a day or 2 later and was told that they couldn't do anything because it was final sale. That I'd have to call the corporate office. Really? I never used them I told the guy. He put me on hold and came back to tell me there was nothing he could do. I get it that if I buy something final sale that it can't be refunded. I wasn't asking for my money back. I just wanted a pen that worked but the bad design would cause the mechanism inside to seize with every push. It's not a big deal but it's definitely something that people should know before buying their product at the event.
