We visited this store and purchased 35 watches. The service was absolutely horrible and completely unprofessional. One of the employees claimed to be the manager--and if that's true, he's the worst manager we've ever encountered. Both staff members acted like we were a nuisance rather than valued customers. Unbelievable. When we left and said thank you, they didn't even bother to respond. Looking at the historical complaints on this page, it appears that this type of service is nothing new to this store and management hasn't taken any actions... Businesses are hurting everywhere right now but these employees don't seem to care much or appreciate their customers! read more

I came in to the store around 5:00pm on 3/3/25. I love Fossil watches, and I probably would have bought 1-2 more. The lone employee in the store was helping someone at the register. When they left it was only my wife and I in the store. Rather than acknowledging us or asking if we needed help, the employee just leaned against the counter, staring at us and clearing his throat. He was staring at us as if he was upset we were there. Even though I had seen a few watches I liked, I just didn't want to be there anymore. Unfortunate. I saw some bad reviews here which scared me, but going into this Fossil, I can say that I had a very positive experience despite the holiday craziness and post-2020 shopping experience. The young man who ran the store this evening was very kind, courteous, and personable. I wanted to exchange two items and there were no issues whatsoever. Fossil is my favorite brand because of its cool style and design. This Fossil store is neat, spacious and well organized. It has a wide collection and style of watches. Similarly, they have wallets, sunglasses and bags. Staff were effusive, competent and amiable. They're wearing mask and following health protocol. I came here to buy two distinct watches; a sporty and business/classic leather. I bought the L.E. Ceramic cobalt blue watch and a black vintage business leather watch. Both watches are pulchritudinous with distinct style and personality. They definitely compliment my persona. Fossil Cobalt Blue Ceramic is a treasure of power and rarity. The men's limited edition is categorized in the Forrester Archival Series with a nice big face at 46MM. Being a limited edition it comes in the famous Fossil packaging and it doesn't disappoint - everything is in cobalt blue except the little foam insert to keep the watch safe- otherwise this is blue overload. Prices were expensive but fair. Overall, I am ebullient with their service and the watches that I bought. I highly recommend this brand. read more

I showed up on a Friday night, less than an hour 'til closing time but I knew what I wanted to purchase before walking in. I asked a girl a few questions about what I wanted and she was able to answer them & right away was willing to help. She grabbed one of my items off the shelf while I browsed for additional items. The store was a little busy during this time. She had several other customers there trying to check out and requesting assistance. I noticed she was trying to get to everyone while someone else was on break. There may have been a 3rd employee assisting her on the floor but I can only recall her running around the store trying to get to everyone. I finally decide to check out with 15 min left til closing and I still wanted my watch engraved. She was able to multi task, checked out other customers and started the process of my engraving. She was also having a conversation with me during this time. Little did she know she made my night. She went above and beyond to assist me while still helping other customers. She was able to help me purchase a nice watch and wallet within my budget and provided excellent customer service. I did not get her name but the receipt says Lisette. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back to purchase gifts in the future. read more

My husband, my son and I were shopping around for Christmas gifts Sunday night 12/8. Looking around no one greeted us or asked if we needed help. I found a small bag told my husband it's a cute gift was about to go look in the mirror when a worker came up to me. She asked me if I was going to take the purse. I told her I was thinking about it why? She said "oh um ok if you are I'll get you another up front when you're ready to check out" and took it out of my hands. I asked her "I can't hold the purse I'm going to buy?" She said "no I'll get you another one when you're ready to check out" and walked away. My husband and I left feeling like we were profiled like we were going to steal. It was a $29 purse I wasn't going to run out of the store with my husband and son asleep in the stroller over a $29 purse. We were going to buy at least 6 nice purses but decided to leave since we were treated like thieves. Not only was she extremely rude about it she acted like I gave her a reason to think I was about to steal. In the past 24 hours, I have been in search for a certain watch. About a year ago, I visited Ontario Mills and bought three of my trendy watches for the year. Its time to add an additional watch to end my 2013 Year. I believe I found my new herding ground to find Fossil Watches at Citadel Outlet. When I got into the Citadel Outlet, my primary objective was to locate a Blue Face Watch Bar. I had bought a Red Face Watch Bar from Fossil from Westfield Topanga, but I made a mistake of not purchasing the Blue Face. I walked in and was greeted by Mario, but my personal concierge was Franky. Franky was on top of my Fossil needs and explained what was going on with Fossil with market needs and demands. I felt like I was at Fossil Business School. Unfortunately, I could not locate the Blue Face Watch Bar without buying the attached metal strap. The Watch Bar is an easy way to remove the strap without using the whole hammer to get the spring out. The strap can be removed with your finger tips with ease. You can have multiple straps and be trendy. I did find a Rose Gold Plated Black Watch Bar ($79.99) which does as good as the Blue Watch Bar. As I was checking out, I was paying with my card and showed my ID to Franky. My photo at that time I was 16 and big. I told him that I used to weight as high as 345lbs and showed him what I looked like a couple years ago. He didn't believe me and gave me a great COMPLIMENT and CONGRATULATIONS on the weight loss. I did not expect to get the gratitude when I was in search for my Blue Face Watch Bar. Thanks Franky! If anyone from Fossil Corporate is reading this, you've got to throw some cred to Franky and his awesome customer service with me. My new watch will compliment my new clothing style especially with my Coach bag. I swear this Man-Diva is getting to my head. Not sure if my coworker will stop mentioning Michael Kors and the day it stops, I probably might be wearing Michael Kors. I've purchased many Fossil watches from various locations. The Camarillo Outlet location has very friendly & professional staff that treated me with respect. But the Citadel location,,, some of them need Customer Service training. I won't put his name out there but he comes across as if he's bothered when asked to process returns or when asked general questions. I've dealt with him on 3 occasions and the last 2 encounters left me feeling a bit frustrated. In the future I'll just take my business to one of the other locations rather than deal with that person. read more

Was really excited to shop for a watch today. The woman who was behind the counter couldn't be bothered to help me. Don't remember her name, she had glasses and braids. Anyway, I was asking if they had some color alternatives on a watch I wanted to purchase and she just said "no." I asked for something similar and she pointed at a vague direction across the store and walked away. I put the watch down and left. I came back later and thankfully she was gone. What a nice store with phenomenal prices on great watches! Kelly the store manager is awesome! Extremely friendly and makes sure her customers leave happy. I purchased a black face fossil with a brown leather band a year ago. The leather on the band wore a little too quickly and dried out causing a break as I was putting on my watch. I explained the situation(keep your receipts) and Kelly replaced my not just the band but the entire watch. She also engraved the back to match my original purchase. At no extra charge. I came in to replace the glass on one of my Fossil Hybrid watches because I had dropped it and broken it. There was only one young lady attending to all the customers. She politely asked me to wait outside while she helped some others, and then once it was my turn she answered my every question. Came in to look at watches. Ended up getting stuck looking at sunglasses. So the hubby and I were trying and comparing different ones to see what looked good on each of us and the security kept walking past us back and forth like we were going to steal!! This happened at least 10 times and we kept making jokes about it, separating to different sides of the store making this guy really work. And he needed the workout. The staff wasn't any better, not trying to help us. However one associate finally came through!! Renee (sp?) and assisted us and gave us the whole shebang about fossil and their watches which was great because we really didn't know anything about the brand and both have never shopped that brand. We ended up leaving with just the sunglasses because they had a bogo 50 and were $24.99 a piece. The watch selection was alright but it's either we liked the face or the band but not both on a watch. Prices were reasonable. Would I come back? No. The service was lacking and it's not like they were super swamped. If you've got time to chitchat with one another, then you've got time to help your guests. read more

*Liked a particular watch, thought of buying it and in the end realised that there was a big scratch on one side of the watch. * The salesperson was friendly and tried to clean the watch to get rid of the scratch but it did not. * I checked with the salesperson if there is any discount offered due to the scratch and the question was redirected to the lady, I believe is the store manager. *She gave a impassive reply that all their watches are already discounted so no more discounts. I was like really? Even when you have a big scratch? And she was like Yeah! I shop....alot. And as such it's not always reasonable to write reviews on retail shops/outlets. BUT! Michael from Fossil deserves 5 stars for his patience and willingness to help me out. It was the end of his shift (I didn't know at the time) and he was super helpful even when I started asking Annoying Customer Questions like "Oh do you think guys would like this wallet?" "Does this watch look okay?" Then I asked him to help me find specific models of wallets "Do you have this in a lighter color? No..no not that light... a bit darker maybe?" And all this while he had to help other customers out, including a couple of tourists who spoke minimal English. Seriously, the guy is a saint. Also! The security guard at this Fossil outlet was such a sweetheart, he kept an eye out for me to make sure I got help when I needed to pay and everything. I love fossil. But this particular store isn't the best at customer service. I went on a Friday and decided to purchase a $200 leather saddle bag. Their system was down so they weren't accepting credit/debit cards. So we asked them to hold the bag for 24 hours which they agreed to. When we returned for the bag, they gave us so much hassle. They first said they didn't know what we were talking about and that no one placed a bag on hold (I guess we were lying). Then they proceeded to say that they didn't even have the bag we were describing. After some unnecessary back and forth and some necessary assertive encouragement, we made the "Manager" look AGAIN, and guess what, they found it. Alright, I wasn't going to write a review but after last night's experience, I decided I should. To start off, the employees at the store were not welcoming whats so ever. Me and my friend had a couple questions while we were looking around the store and the employees seemed so bothered when answering our questions as if they were having a bad day. When it came time to pay, we had to wait for the other employee to help us out because the employee working the cashier just walked away to go on his break without saying anything. To top off our experience, the employee told us she couldnt engrave our necklace because apparently only the manager knows how to so she wanted us to go back another day, mind you there was another employee there as well. So after we said we couldnt go back another day since were not around the area , the girl seemed bothered and said "alright ill try to engrave it". After a few minutes the other employee came back from break and engraved someone else's stuff infront of us. He then asked the girl employee to take over and since the girl couldnt do it, she asked him to engrave it but without even at least trying the guy said "i dont know how" so how is this store going to advertise free engraving when none of the employees working know how to do it? The engraving part wasnt a big deal to us, how they handled the situation is what upset us. I hope it was just them having a bad day and wanting to close already but they should at least try to be more friendly and welcoming. read more

The customer service is not great. Just walked in to get my batteries replaced and at the managers request the employee who helped me turned me away claiming that they didn't have the tools to replace a battery. I had the option to ship this out to the factory to get it fixed but even then I would he responsible for shipping and handling. I was in and out within five minutes after feeling extremely put off by the managers way of handling this. read more
