Really nice wall art!

Grid Coffee is wedged between two other buildings (peep my photo)! Located in Diamond Bar, Grid Coffee brings aesthetics, good intentions, and good vibes. I had stopped by because I wanted to get a croffle for myself. Of course, trying their coffee was also on my to do list. We stopped by on a Sunday morning, and quickly got to place our order. My fiancé ordered their tonic and of course, I ordered their Banana Cream Latte. I also scored their last plain croffle of the day and also got their everything seasoning croffle. It didn't take long for us to get our coffee or our pastry. Their plain croffle was good, but I wished we had the option to have it warmed up. Their everything seasoned croffle was decent if you want a savory pastry. My banana cream latte was strong, but wasn't strong in banana flavoring. I mixed my cream too towards the bottom, and still found barely taste it. The baristas here are also very aesthetic and silly. They had a great time making coffee and taking orders. The art here is stunning. There's also plenty of study space with cushioning available. It's a lovely concept. I think I'll have to come back to try a different drink.

Double matcha

Coffee shop with matchas and cold brew. Came here to catch up with a friend and ordered a double matcha latte, which had both matcha as well as a matcha cream top. I split a Nutella croissant on the side as well. The croissant was a tad stale and there was limited Nutella but I did really like my drink. There's indoor as well as outdoor seating. Some people were working in the cafe and there was WiFi. There's a free parking lot. Credit cards and Apple Pay accepted.

Solid cafe with decent matcha and hojicha drinks but the matcha here is on the lighter and slightly sweeter side! This is a popular study place but there's limited seating and limited outlets but WiFi is good and the bathroom is clean! Tip: There's lots of parking! Also card payments only!

I am really liking this place for some specialty matcha drinks. This might be my new goto drink place in Diamond Bar that has so so many coffee places. 2 visits and so far great service and great drinks. I like the vibe when you come inside, it's got that industrial feel, roomy, cool, not hot. Very enjoyable

Very mid coffee. I wish the espresso to milk ratio was balanced. Felt very creamy/milky! This was my second time trying it so wanted to give it another go :/

Madagascar Vanilla Caffe Latte (Close Up)

I had a good experience at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar). I ordered the Madagascar Vanilla Caffe Latte ($7 - Large - Iced). It's three shots of espresso, milk, and Madagascar vanilla syrup. I felt awake after sipping. It's TASTY, fresh coffee! (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring Card or Contactless Payment.) I arrived at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) on Thursday (around 9:17AM). Parking is easy. The lot is spacious and big. However, this business has awful visibility; it's very easy for new guests to overlook it. But like a strongly guarded secret, this business is POPULAR. Staff is efficient and amicable. Staff is polite and knowledgeable, but Staff is also curt and very focused on crafting their coffee. My coffee took four minutes and 26 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Madagascar Vanilla Caffe Latte ($7 - Large - Iced). When thoroughly stirred, the coffee's true flavor blossoms. The potency becomes balanced, and the taste of vanilla & roasted coffee lithely intertwine. The aftertaste is reminiscent of a smoky caramel. There's utility and personality in this freshly brewed coffee. It's easy to understand why this spot is so popular. On ambiance, Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) is a study/work paradise. Unlike the tiny outside, the interior is unexpectedly spacious. There's about six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details are in small text on the counter's menu. The location also has about four tables, one long wooden table, and five mini portable tables. In addition, Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar) is clean, well-maintained, and well-ventilated. There's a gender neutral restroom in the back, and the music is chill & calm. The location is filled with working college students whispering about Harvard and preparing for the future. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Grid Coffee (Diamond Bar). The coffee is affordable, good quality, and functional. The location is comfortable and calm. If searching for a wonderful study/work spot, this is a very easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5!

This place was super yummy! There was adequate space for sitting to either chat with friends, study, or work. I ordered the mango Matcha and the banana Matcha Latte, and both were delicious. They were sweet, creamy, and had a rich matcha flavor without being overpowering. The staff were super friendly, and once I ordered, the drinks came out quickly. I'll definitely be back!

Matcha Croffle & Double Pistachio Latte
Steph L.

Tried Grid Coffee in Diamond Bar for a quick drink and pastry run. * Double Pistachio Latte: The pistachio foam on top was creamy and rich. We ordered it with soy milk, but the latte base tasted a little watery compared to the rich foam. * Matcha Croffle: Crispy and flaky hybrid pastry. The matcha side was rich and tasty, though fairly sweet, while the plain half tasted like a regular waffle. A solid spot to visit if you enjoy creative specialty drinks !

Very Disappointed I used to really like this place. I loved the industrial-style atmosphere, and it always felt like a cool spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy a freshly made specialty coffee. That's why I was honestly shocked by what I saw during my last visit. I came in one morning with a friend, and I watched the employee take pre-mixed coffee that had already been prepared and simply pour it into a cup with milk. There was no fresh grinding, no espresso being pulled, and no coffee being made to order in front of us. I paid nearly $7 for the drink, expecting a freshly prepared specialty coffee. Instead, the preparation looked more like a pre-made/instant coffee process. For a coffee shop charging specialty-coffee prices, this was extremely disappointing and felt very misleading. The atmosphere is nice, but for me, the quality and preparation of the coffee matter much more. After seeing this, I definitely won't be coming back.

I've had mixed feelings about this place. I used to think it was just okay, but last time I went I had a blueberry specialty coffee drink and actually really enjoyed it. Their matcha is okay, but I think their coffee is great here. Just be warned, they are typically understaffed, and the wait can be long, I think a lot of it comes from big group orders. They do have very unique seating though.

Rickey S.

Came in on a Thursday at 1pm. Most of the seating was taken and seems like thjs place is laptop friendly. The ambiance is more on the trendy side, with wooden but tasteful seating, art hanging on the walls and a unique chair in the corner for what seems to be a photo-op. I ordered the iced cream top hojicha latte and my drink was ready in less than 3 minutes. It was so fast, I'm not even sure if they make the mix hojicha powder on the spot or if it's pre-made. Regardless, the drink was tasty and well made. This ran me $7 ($8 if with oat milk) and tipping optional. Grid Coffee is one of the better coffee/matcha/hojicha spots in the Walnut/Diamond Bar/Pomona/Rowland Heights area

Cookie butter latte
Melody L.

First time I came here I thought the latte I got was just ok. Wanted to try a different flavor and saw they had a cookie butter latte. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this tasted! The cookie butter foam was so good and matched perfectly with their coffee! This will be my new go to latte for a while!

Ask the Community - Grid Coffee

Do they accept cash?

They do not

Is this a good place to study?

Depends, if you have many books and need space, they only have one long table that could be most comfortable for that. I've seen a few people study there the times I've come and they've utilized the table. They have two other seating arrangements…

Hi, does this coffee place offers gift card?

Yes, they do sell gift cards.

Do they make their own coffee? If so, do they sell the beans at the store?

Do they have outdoor seating for people with dogs or are dogs allowed?

Yes they do! For both questions. I have brought my dog here several times.

Does the matcha powder used have sugar in it?

Yes, it does! They said it is pre-sweetened. I always order a strawberry matcha latte and you can choose to have less strawberry or matcha to make it less sweet.

What is the einspanner?

Viennese coffee with a lot of whipped cream on top. Typically drunk through the cream, without mixing.

Yet, the sweetness is perfect and can mask your actual caffeine intake! It's amazing how they can do both. Their burrito was very savory and delicious as well. Of course, the company can do whatever they want with their promotions, but it was disappointing when I was ordering through the app to see that the promo was lower than when I had just seen it as $5 off a few days prior, with no expiration date. I ordered through the app and when I arrived, the drink was not yet ready, so we waited a bit. I forgot that there is no "welcoming vibes" with Smoking Tiger Coffee Lab locations. Basically there's no acknowledgment or "hellos" when you enter or even arrive at the counter. It is very mellow, quiet. There were a few orders ahead of me so we just waited until I was called. We had only previously ordered coffee drinks before so we decided to try a seasonal drink with the promo. It was delicious and everything was well-balanced.
