I heard my son talking to someone right after I walked in and popped back out to check what was going on. This elderly woman was telling my son to take my dog into the store because her husband was coming with their dog and her dog will snap at our dog. She was becoming forceful and using her body to push in. I said no we aren't taking the dog in and she positioned her body between me and my son and stretched her arms out towards me and my dog as if to push us. I said stop, I can't bring him in the store and she got angry and asked why not. I said I don't think dogs are allowed to which she replied it's my store just take your dog in there my husband is coming with our dog and he might snap at you all while still trying to push us in. I blocked her and said that I wasn't going in and we would just leave. She got even pushier telling me no and to get in. This is all happening on a public sidewalk in front of the entrance of her business. My son and I worked our way around her with our dog while she was trying to block us and left. 1.If the owner has a dog that could snap at others they should not be bringing them into the business. 2. Angrily speaking and trying to physically make someone do something they don't want to is not okay. 3. If they were bringing their dog that could snap at us into their business, why should we go into the business with our dog or without- the request wasn't making sense. 4. If there was a legitimate concern, why not approach us with something like hi, I'm the owner of this store. Would you mind moving to XXXXX location so that my dog who may not like yours can get by. Guaranteed a completely different interaction would have occurred. This owner seems a bit unstable and I will avoid it the store and the public area near it.

We bought a large condo in Mill Creek just prior to the pandemic and planned on a major renovation…read more We consulted several contractors who worked up a variety of designs. For such a good sized condo, the kitchen is a small galley and bent in an odd angle half way through it. No one seemed to be able to work out a design that kept the architectural beauty of the rest of the main floor yet also addressed the many issues with the kitchen. Then the pandemic arrived and we put everything on hold. Last winter we hired Featured Kitchens and Bath to do a design and possibly do the remodel for us. Denise , their designer, worked through a variety of back and forth changes with us until we finally thought we had a design we really liked. At that point we contracted with them to do the renovation. We are so glad we did. Kris and his team are honest craftsmen and do beautiful work. From start to finish they took care to insure we were happy with the results. In the end, we couldn't be happier with what was done. We highly recommend Featured Kitchen and Bath. This is a quality business.

She visited our home multiple times and helped us define our vision. We liked their proposal and contracted with them. During demolition a water pipe broke in the powder room, flooding the hardwood floor. Featured Kitchen and Bath replaced the floor at no additional cost to us. We went to Kauai for two weeks, leaving them access to our home. They are very reliable and trustworthy. The job is now done and exceeds our expectations. Featured Kitchen and Bath uses quality subcontractors. Their designs use quality brands and good materials. This is the second remodel Featured Kitchen and Bath have completed for us. A few years ago they designed and remodeled our master bath. We tore the master bath back to bare drywall, re-plumbed the bath and created a beautiful walk in shower. Kris and his team work hard to minimize the impact on the homeowner. We were living in the house the whole time they were working on the master bath. Our lives were interrupted but as minimally as they could make it. We know two other homeowners in our development who have used Featured Kitchen and Bath, both are pleased with their work. We don't think you can go wrong with Featured Kitchen and Bath.

Most of the process…read morewas excellent, but surprisingly, our experience ended on a sour note such that we will not use Pius again and recommend caution to anyone who does. Sophie, the manager at the very nice Pius Tacoma showroom and our only contact in dealing with our project, was very helpful in all aspects of selecting the granite stone. A trip to the Pius warehouse in Seattle 's SoDo neighborhood near Century Link Stadium showed quite an impressive operation as we selected our stone panels. The installers did an amazing job of measurement, stone cutting, and tight fitting installation - but that is when things began to go wrong. Pius has great prices but be forewarned, they only install and are not responsible for anything other than putting the countertops in. You are responsible for tearing out your old countertops and preparing your home with floor coverings to protect from dirt and dust. That's OK as they made it clear that is how they operate. And there is a lot of dust from cutting the countertops in your driveway or front yard that they "try" to clean up "as best they can". Our problem and deep disappointment and let-down was their refusal to address the inadequate final cleaning of the countertops. The installers left a residue of fine dust and a thin film of glue that blemished the luster of the countertops. The head installer did wipe down the countertops with acetone but never changed rags and left a covering of dust and film. We asked him about it as he finished, and he said we "could use Windex for a final cleaning". OUR MISTAKE - We should have insisted right then that he redo his cleaning to remove the dust and film because as we found out after he left, our attempts with Windex did not remove the thin film of glue on the countertops. We emailed Sophie detailed pictures and videos of the blemished countertops along with observations proving this was dust and a film of glue that should have been removed by their installers. And we asked her to send someone to inspect and fully clean the countertops. Additionally, a 3rd party contractor we used to remove the old countertops who is a contractor Pius routinely works with also told Sophie the countertops were not properly cleaned. To all this, Sophie never called to clarify our comments and instead emailed a response that what we were seeing were "normal stone defects" they could not take out. Her comment was totally false! We researched cleaning products and to our great relief, we were able to clean the dust and film from the countertops to our full satisfaction. However, the blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and owning up for something they were responsible to handle soured us from doing further business we were planning to do in remodeling our kitchen. We will never use Pius Kitchen and Bath again and don't care how good their prices might be. If you still decide to use Pius, be sure to observe and carefully inspect the final cleaning and insist the installers fully clean your new countertops to the same luster you see in their showroom.

"How come everyone there is so welcoming?" www.absolute.com…read moreI am asking this question because I have known this business for over ten years, and I have always had a very good experience with the services that they have provided. This company designs, manufactures, and sells high-end premium and custom made kitchen surfaces, as well as very high-end kitchen cabinets. The company owner, Vlad Khan, and all his associates are very knowledgeable, and I am always impressed by the company's plans for future business and strong ambitions. Lots of small things add up to create the best imaginable customer service, product quality, and the final project. They never make you feel that you are asking too much and always appear really glad to see their customers. It doesn't matter if the order is big or small, the company and the employees are always providing high-end customer service. They even provide follow up phone calls with customers to make sure that everything is done to their satisfaction. Everyone is so welcoming, because they have best customers! Yes, sometimes business is slow, or the company can face some new challenges, but I can guarantee that AbsoluteGM is a solid, well-built business and can provide the best products and services to match every customer's full satisfaction. I highly recommend this business!

He showed a lot of initiative by picking up my skylights for me and was willing to oversee some of the work I was doing myself without charging extra. The skylights put in were done well. There were a few slipshod points: -He wouldn't use a contract until I asked. -He wouldn't give me a painting bid until after I started the skylight work. It felt inappropriate to be told I had to buy one service to get the bidding for another. -Most concerning, I asked for a bid for separate drywall--some minor work. He put in a bid for $3000. I found another contractor who did the same work for $300 and it turned out great. There may be reasons I don't know, but this felt wrong to me. If I cared less about budget and wanted someone to do structural work, I would go to Richard; his knowledge and background are impressive.
