I don't know how or why he came to that conclusion in our brief phone conversation, but I told him I wasn't looking for the "cheapest", I was looking for the best solution. He scheduled a visit and did some measurements and we discussed possible options. I also let him know I was interested in kitchen redesign so that I could have a bigger fridge but he didn't seem interested and just went back to the powder room. When he was done, he said it would take about two weeks for a quote but I may need to reach out to him again. I asked if he had a card and he said no, then left. That was on June 11 and now it's July 28. If a business wants my business, they would send a quote. Maybe my little job isn't worth their time because business is booming, who knows. When your gut tells you they aren't interested, listen to your gut.

They are a standard size cabinet sales and install company & do not have custom size cabinets. They didn't have black cabinets that we originally wanted but we do like the dark espresso cabinets we settled on. We also ended up with two deep dead end cabinets vs corner units since they do not do custom sizing. We were, however, highly motivated by their low prices & ability to install both cabinets & quartz counters in one day. The rest of our experience was less important to us than getting a good price and install experience. I noticed a couple earlier reviews marked them down to one star for the customer service. In our experience in the show room, they let you look around independently and don't use high pressure sales techniques; which we appreciated. some of the other reviewers seemed to want a lot of direct personal attention & other sales bells/whistles. If shoppers expect high-end customer service for low priced product, I do see how they can be disappointed. To place an order, take your measurement drawing to the person at the counter. If you use them as installers, they will check your measurements on site prior to install and revise the order, if needed. I do recommend using them to install cabinets, counters, AND pulls since if you make a mistake installing it yourself (drill the wrong holes in the cabinet fronts, etc.) they require you to buy the whole cabinet to replace the parts. They don't sell separate parts like hinges & fronts. We made the mistake of not having them install the pulls & our handyman made a mistake drilling the wrong holes (4" vs 5") for pulls on two drawers. He had to buy two whole cabinets just to replace the drawer fronts. I have marked down half a star for this since they didn't warn us about this policy during our purchase & there was no mention of them installing the pulls during our purchase. Luckily, the cabinets are not super expensive & our handyman thinks he can resell the cabinets with the 4" pull holes. I have further marked down another half star for a couple of small issues during install. 1) They didn't warn us about the very strong & toxic smelling adhesive that would be used for the counter tops. In retrospect, we likely should have been out of the house during countertop portion of install since we all had headaches the next day. 2) There was a small issue with the electrical outlet for the microwave cabinet. They mis-measured where to cut the hole in the cabinet & attempted, to instead, move the electrical. Our electrician popped over during install and told them that wasn't safe. So, they cut an extra hole in the back of the cabinet (where it should have been to begin with) to allow for the outlet. Due to a soffit situation for heating ducts, the right side of the microwave cabinet is permanently closed (as expected) & so we will never see the extra hole at the back of the cabinet & don't really care about it. In all, the price was right for our basement kitchen set-up & has met our expectations.

This was my first time hiring a contractor. I had previously acted as the general contractor for our other two bathrooms, and my husband and I did those remodels ourselves, so I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted--and also plenty of lessons to learn along the way! One of the biggest advantages of working with Doru was his pricing. His quote was extremely competitive compared with other contractors in the area, some of whom quoted us 2-3 times more. We did have to manage purchasing our own cabinets, tub, tile, lighting, fixtures, etc., but that gave us the flexibility to shop at our preferred stores and save money. **A couple of lessons I learned:** Make sure you have all of your materials onsite before construction starts. There were a few times we were waiting for items I had ordered, which slowed things down. Had I used some of Doru's preferred suppliers, that probably wouldn't have happened. Also, if possible, I recommend having someone home during construction. I couldn't be home because of work, but my husband was, and that worked out well. Doru was consistently on time--sometimes even early--which is rare in the construction industry. He's also incredibly versatile and was able to handle a variety of jobs himself, including light electrical work such as changing light types and wiring and installing/replacing electrical outlets. The only time he brought in an electrician was for our heated floors because they required additional breakers in our electrical panel. And by the way, **I highly recommend heated bathroom floors!** They aren't hot; they're just comfortably warm/room temperature, which means no more freezing feet first thing in the morning. The project started with demolition, which Doru completed in just **one day**. From there, he handled the framing and coordinated his regular team of skilled subcontractors. One thing I appreciated about Doru is that he genuinely wants you to be happy with the final product. He doesn't try to push his own design preferences on you. When I asked for his opinion, he would explain the pros and cons of different options, but ultimately left the decision to me. I changed my mind a couple of times during the project--including the ceiling lighting and tub surround--and even though those changes created additional work, he made the requested changes without charging us extra. His team was excellent as well. Emmanuel, his tile professional, did an incredible job and really made the bathroom come together. He also installed our cabinets and crown molding, and his attention to detail was impressive. The drywall professional was extremely fast and efficient using Quick Set 5. We did need a second trip because of some ceiling corrections, but overall the work moved along quickly. Our project took about six weeks from start to finish, although some of that time was due to delays with materials I had selected and our family vacations. Realistically, I think the actual construction could have been completed in around four weeks if everything had been onsite and we hadn't had scheduling interruptions. What really stood out to me was Doru's follow-through. He has checked in with us multiple times since the project was completed to make sure we're still happy with everything. We are! I actually made one poor choice myself when selecting our tub faucet--it takes about 20 minutes to fill our large tub. Doru even offered to come back and replace it once I find a better faucet, which says a lot about the kind of contractor he is. **If you're looking for a highly skilled, dependable contractor at a competitive price, I would absolutely recommend Eagle Remodel and Construction.** I think they're an especially great choice if you're comfortable purchasing your own tile, cabinets, fixtures, lighting, tub, etc. and want more control over your budget and selections. If you're looking for a completely hands-off experience where you walk into a showroom, select everything through the contractor, and have them handle every purchase, a larger remodeling company may be a better fit--but you'll likely pay significantly more for that convenience. For us, Eagle Remodel and Construction was absolutely the right choice. We love our new bathroom and would hire Doru again without hesitation!

Although not the lowest bid I received, what I liked most about David was his obvious attention to and interest in my project. His pricing is fair and excellent value for the money. The scope and process of each project is itemized clearly and when an unexpected issue arises, David problem solves with me to clearly define work order options to resolve it within my best interests. David is the first contractor of many I have worked with, to finish a proposed project on time and within his initially proposed budget! Everyone I worked with within the IRC team - David, Sylvestru, Jose, Marlon, have consistently provided a quality of work and overall experience that meets and exceeds my expectations. This includes a comprehensive list of subcontractors and expert service and design contacts. Everyone has been courteous, professional, and respectful of myself and my property and are friendly and comfortable to have in my home. Absolutely terrible experience. It started with them coming out to do a bid on a window…read morereplacement. The person that came out, struggled to get the measurement, but was pleasant. I was clear that this job would require scaffolding and was tricky to get to. They sent me a bid, which seemed pretty low, but after speaking with other providers I went with Elite Pacific. Communication slowed from there, but they eventually got back to me and asked to remeasure the window. The person came out and remeasured, during that time she was complaining about the company and how they promised her a "glazer" position. Regardless, after that they went completely dark for about 4 days. I finally called and got ahold of Omid. Omid apologized and said they had to remeasure (3rd time). I asked why, he said that the original measurement was incorrect and the 2nd measurement never got to them because the person quit. Although frustrated, I said fine, and they sent two guys, much more knowledgeable than the others to remeasure. Again, they were pleasant and asked to take the trim off the window. I was fine with this, but it did expose mold (the window was leaking), this is key to this review. After the last measurement (3rd time), they went dark again. I finally got ahold of Omid (after around 5 days) and he said that he was sorry, he had to rebid the project, because they had NOT considered all the scaffolding necessary. Even though I was frustrated, I said fine and awaited the updated bid. I waited about 3 more days, but the bid never came to me. I called, which thery did not answer, left a voicemail, waited another day, with no response. Over the next 7 days, I called about 5 times, left voicemails, and sent 4 emails directly to Omid. I never received a reply. This is not a professional company. I believe they are a company owned by a bigger company (as you go through a messaging service each time you call). I also believe they were screening my calls. The simple truth, is that they did not want to do this job, which is fine, but then just inform me. I am also pursuing a complaint with the BBB, because they did expose mold in my home, which I had to cut out of the drywall myself. I wasted weeks with them because they did not have maturity to simply say "not interested". To compare, there were three other companies that said, because of the location, this was not the job for them and suggested other providers. I cannot stress this enough, stay away. They do not deserve your business.
