So needless to say I was excited that Emerald Install responded quickly when I reached out. One downside was they charge for a measure to give a quote. The measure was professional and informative, but then the quote didn't come for weeks. I was tempted to blow them off but they apologized, explained what happened, and I decided to give them a chance. Install happened on time, work was done professionally, and the end result looks great. So while it was a bit bumpy road, I'm hopeful they'll work out the process kinks in quoting and I'd still recommend them for a tile job and hire them again for my home.

He had a nice selection of high quality, but reasonably priced, flooring covering options and helped us identify the LVP flooring we were trying to match in our new house. Due to construction delays, we put the selection of new flooring on hold. A few weeks later my contactor removed some of the existing LVP floor to do foundation work. When my contractor was then unable to reinstall the floor, we panicked since it was critical for the next stage of our remodel. I immediately reached out to Alexander at Emerald Installation. He was AMAZING! Alexander came over that same afternoon and reinstalled the flooring. It was beautiful, and just in time for the next stage of construction. We don't know what we would have done without his help and expertise. I can't recommend Emerald Installation & Floors enough! They truly save the day for us!!!!!

Cons: The day I was supposed to get an estimate, no one called, however, the following day the person called and came out and was ready to work. Residue from the texturing was on a nearby door and trim when I inspected the area, but it appears it will come off with a sponge.

5 Stars - Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish! From…read morethe initial inspection to the final cleanup, my experience with this roofing company was exceptional. The entire process reflected professionalism, expertise, transparency, and an impressive commitment to customer satisfaction. The experience began with a comprehensive inspection of both the roof and attic, complete with photographs, videos, and a detailed report explaining the findings. Rather than pushing for an immediate roof replacement, Justin walked me through the options for repair versus full replacement, explaining the advantages, considerations, and costs associated with each. Once I made the decision, he helped me choose shingle quality and materials while clearly explaining warranty coverage and what to expect throughout the project. His communication was responsive, transparent, and consistently professional. The roofing crew was equally great. From moving furniture and plants on my deck to removing the existing roof, installing the new roof, and final cleanup, Stephan and his team demonstrated efficiency, attention to detail, and respect for my property. The cleanup was meticulous. What truly set this experience apart from my other home improvement projects was the exceptional communication and a genuine commitment to doing the job right. Stephan and the entire team exceeded my expectations at every stage. I could not be more pleased with the finished roof or the overall experience. I recommend this company to anyone seeking quality roofing work, reasonable prices, communication, and a team that delivers on its promises.

I am writing to express our disappointment with how our property was treated during the recent…read moreroofing project Cloise and Mike Construction, Inc. provided. While the roof itself appears to be well done, the condition in which our property was treated and left is unacceptable. During the course of the work, your crew drove over shrubbery in our backyard in order to fit vehicles, smashing them flat and causing damage to the established landscaping. They also cut limbs from a tree we planted years ago as a memorial, leaving it disfigured. At no point were we asked for permission to cut any limbs or shrubs, nor were we informed that this had been done--we discovered the damage on our own afterward. The limbs were not properly removed but instead discarded onto other vegetation, leaving us to clean up the debris. Additionally, plants were cut back to accommodate vehicles in the rear driveway, and several bushes were run over and flattened. Old plywood removed from the roof was thrown onto our deck, landing on outdoor furniture. Crew members also walked through and stood in garden areas, trampling new spring bulbs. We were particularly surprised to find that a log had been dragged out of the forest and onto our lawn for use as a seat during break time, and then left there for us to remove. We understand that roofing can be a messy job with missed nails on the ground or some debris that had blown into bushes etc., but we chose to work with a small, local business in hopes of receiving more care and respect for our home and property. Unfortunately, this experience has not reflected that expectation.

Home Pros were happy to do the work and were fairly priced. We were so happy with them that we ended up significantly expanding the scope of work we were doing. They did good work, were communicative about anything going on with the project, courteous, and receptive to small change requests. They explained everything, especially any discoveries that presented themselves along the way, like the burst pipe inside the wall, so there we always felt like we knew what was going on and there were no nasty surprises at the end. We are pleased with the quality of their workmanship. Working with Home Pros was a refreshing 180 degree change from the last few contractors we have tried. It is such a relief to find someone you can trust for projects that are outside your comfort zone or are just not able to deal with. We would happily hire them again!

There was a large, moldy spot from water damage and also a section was cut out and patched with OSB plyboard by the water restoration company. A&R just covered the area without doing any repairs. No cutting out the mold or reinforcing the floor. This is not something that I asked for and the other quotes I got included repairing and replacing the damaged areas to the floor. I did not look at their quote close enough to notice that they did not include replacing the moldy and damaged area. I never thought a company would consider doing a repair this way. Their quote was not even the lowest. They simply laid down new tile over the damage without repairing any of the damage. I thought this was strange but the owner said the cement board would hold it in place. I had another flooring company retile my kitchen and they told me it would likely start to sink. So I will have to hire a second contractor to go under the house and put in additional support under the floor. Also troubling is the hole they cut around the flange for the toilet was much wider than the flange so the plumber I hired was not able to install the toilet. I had to hire another contractor to fix that error. A&R either did not notice this issue or they noticed and did not inform me, and both of those scenarios are troublesome. They were expensive for the amount of work they did. I would not use A&R Restoration again.

Review update below:…read more Buyer Beware. It has been less than a year since we had work done by Home Pros. My first clue should have been when they were at our house giving a quote. Mr. Leonard kept saying, "We get good reviews" over and over. He quoted us $2500 for our deck. When we said we were going to look around, he lowered it to $2000. When we said we were still going to look around, he gave us another $300 off. After he left, I looked up the reviews. I was shocked to see that the "5 star" reviews all came from him and his immediate family members all with the same last name. We didn't cancel because we had a lot going on at the time, but let me tell you what to expect: We chose "English Walnut". You tell me if this red paint looks like English Walnut to you or not. We were sold on "the best deck stain available". You tell me if after a year, this looks like the best available to you. After they finished, we had to call them back for another coat because it was horribly uneven and some spots were missed. Despite that, no sanding was done, no nails were pounded down, and the "quality stain" we supposedly paid for looks like this due to RAIN. Bottom line, we were SCAMMED. Do not trust these people. The good reviews are from them themselves. When he was here, I even called him on that, and he said, "Well, you know how it goes...". And now, you do too. Pics attached. *Update: In response to the business owner's comments on my review, I can understand why he'd be defensive, but I stand by what I say. We called this company back twice (for a total of three visits) because they had done minimal prep work before starting. Part of their sell was that they'd sand down the rough spots and pound nails down if sticking up, which seems like standard protocol to me, and neither of these things were done. After they left the first time, the layers of stain were so poorly done along the railing that some spots looked like they had one layer and others looked like they had three layers, resulting in completely different colors along the same railing that was too obvious to ignore. What I did not mention in my first review but feel compelled to now is that in addition to this, several items under the deck were not covered or protected as promised either. Unfortunately, both our hot tub and our air conditioning unit directly below had several splashes of stain on them, along with multiple other items. Yes, it's true that we have a large Labrador, but few of these spots can be attributed to him. Regardless, in my opinion, "the best stain available" with adequate prep would not look like this after two short months. People have pets. I didn't expect to have to wear ballet slippers going outside. We have gates in places that do not allow our dog access to any of the areas pictured in these photos with the exception of the spot outside of our sliding glass door. In fact, the area with the worst damage of peeling and stripping is an area that NEITHER pets OR people walk on. That damage was caused by rain. I'm clearly not the only one with this experience. Google it. As much as I prefer to support local businesses, some just don't deserve it. This company is highly dishonest. I heard after the fact that they used to go by Procraft but changed their name due to negative reviews. It's my duty as a fellow Yelper to call things as I see them, and that's what I see.
