Home Pros were happy to do the work and were fairly priced. We were so happy with them that we ended up significantly expanding the scope of work we were doing. They did good work, were communicative about anything going on with the project, courteous, and receptive to small change requests. They explained everything, especially any discoveries that presented themselves along the way, like the burst pipe inside the wall, so there we always felt like we knew what was going on and there were no nasty surprises at the end. We are pleased with the quality of their workmanship. Working with Home Pros was a refreshing 180 degree change from the last few contractors we have tried. It is such a relief to find someone you can trust for projects that are outside your comfort zone or are just not able to deal with. We would happily hire them again!

I am writing to express our disappointment with how our property was treated during the recent…read moreroofing project Cloise and Mike Construction, Inc. provided. While the roof itself appears to be well done, the condition in which our property was treated and left is unacceptable. During the course of the work, your crew drove over shrubbery in our backyard in order to fit vehicles, smashing them flat and causing damage to the established landscaping. They also cut limbs from a tree we planted years ago as a memorial, leaving it disfigured. At no point were we asked for permission to cut any limbs or shrubs, nor were we informed that this had been done--we discovered the damage on our own afterward. The limbs were not properly removed but instead discarded onto other vegetation, leaving us to clean up the debris. Additionally, plants were cut back to accommodate vehicles in the rear driveway, and several bushes were run over and flattened. Old plywood removed from the roof was thrown onto our deck, landing on outdoor furniture. Crew members also walked through and stood in garden areas, trampling new spring bulbs. We were particularly surprised to find that a log had been dragged out of the forest and onto our lawn for use as a seat during break time, and then left there for us to remove. We understand that roofing can be a messy job with missed nails on the ground or some debris that had blown into bushes etc., but we chose to work with a small, local business in hopes of receiving more care and respect for our home and property. Unfortunately, this experience has not reflected that expectation.

This company is awful, save yourself headaches and money and use someone else. When you question…read morethem, they will tell you that YOU are wrong. This is true even though I have proof otherwise. They installed wet Insulation and their manager (Hugh) said it was water resistant when I questioned him. When I squeezed the insulation, water poured out. They knew this when they installed and hoped I wouldn't notice. They installed the wrong color siding and blamed their supplier. Then, they told me I should stick with the other color because it matched better. The beams were barely attached to the trusses, work they had to redo. They use the cheapest possible concrete process. If I'd asked more questions (my bad) I would've realized that the used plastic zip-strips and not rebar. They left garbage on the property for more than a month. Used water bottles and empty cans; their lunch debris was barely contained and small dog (visiting) found a chicken bone they left. They drilled into the underground power line and told me it was my fault for not checking where the power lied. When Hugh told me that a locator was coming out, I believed him. Not true. Locators did not come. Plus, the caveat was that locators only locate on PUBLIC land. Not being experienced in building, and being told they were sending a locator, one could figure they really were.

I would say my kitchen is deserving of a five star review. However, he replaced three windows along the back of my house and removed a bunch of my vinyl siding. He never put siding back up and the back of my house looks terrible. There are now exposed wires where's porch light used to be. Said porch light is on the ground with broken glass. There seemed to be a real lack in communication with this aspect of the project and maybe a lack of interest in completing . I sent him pictures of the siding in February and the project started in May. It is now October and my house is still exposed out back. I'm now left looking for someone to come through and clean up the mess. It feels as though he abandoned it. I would say they do a great job on kitchens, and I would assume other interior projects, but I'd be weary of letting them mess with your vinyl. It may get ripped off and abandoned.

Ion and Chris, project managers, met with me, listened, and came up with pricing and scheduling almost immediately. I felt the pricing was reasonable and, importantly, we quickly established a feeling of trust. After a career of running projects myself, I would give their crew the highest marks. Emily commented several times that all day long, the only sounds were uninterrupted construction noise; every one of their people worked hard, all day long. As happens, there was a flooring glitch at the bathroom door. Without hesitating, a large section of flooring was pulled up and put back properly. Their electrician, Nick, was installing the new panel when it became apparent a new exterior service was required for code. Somebody rounded up the parts and Nick worked until 7:00 pm so that Emily wouldn't be inconvenienced. They resided the front of the house and did a great job fitting around the windows and doors, but after paint, the siding material was very rough. I pointed it out to Chris, and he agreed. Cesar, their lead carpenter, came back and sanded the whole front of the house and rolled another coat of paint on it, and put a fresh coat on the door for good measure. I added a few change orders and was treated very fairly, like we were partners. Ion and Chris were always available, even on weekends and they are leading a great crew. We are very pleased with the project; it's made the whole house seem like it's new. I've already recommended them to a couple of friends.

Flooring was put on top of sagging boards in one area. I do not recommend this company. I also was told they don't use private contractors, but they do.
