This is a tiny strawberry shake. It's not worth the price.

Not impressed. I have seen long car lines for this place so I thought lets finally try it. It's in a high traffic location with excellent exposure. 1. When a drive-through has a speaker with a menu, you expect a greeting right? Nope. Not at Gotcha Burger. So after 2-3 minutes and a couple cars behind us with no greeting, we pulled forward. The guy at the window said "oh yeah, its' not working." Later on when waiting in the walk-up for a milkshake they didn't initially deliver, another customer said "oh yeah it's never worked." Whatever.... I don't' know...maybe a "out of order please pull forward" sign would be appropriate? 2. We ordered a large burger, cheese burger, hot dog, fries, and a strawberry milkshake. REVIEW: The burger and cheese burger: Nothing special at all. It's not bad. It's certainly not a gourmet burger and not a gourmet price. It's average. Average is not a bad thing, but it would have been nice to get some complimentary ketchup with the burger. Oh yes, I know that's my fault for not asking for ketchup. I would prefer In & Out (sort of the same menu concept except no combo offer) any day over these burgers. Based on the price I would also prefer Carl Juniors, WayBack, Little Big, or even Killer Burgers. 3. Hot Dog: Totally unimpressed and WAY over priced. You might as well go to Costco for $1.50 and save your money. Actually, the Costco hot dog will be bigger and taste better according to my kid. Oops...forgot to ask for mustard or anything on it. Just a dried up hot dog in a bun inside foil wrapping. 4. Fries. The fries were cooked well which I prefer. Once again however, I forgot to ask for...this time....the salt. Saltless fries is what we had. And for the price I would have expected more fries, as this was just an average serving at best. 5. Strawberry Milkshake: Again, for the $3.75 price I would have expected more. You decide below. So we got the to-go order. He told me to pull forward because the strawberry shake was going to take 10 minutes. So we decided to eat in the car while we wait for the shake. There was no ketchup, no salt, no mustard for the dog...all of this I forgot to ask for, unlike other places...even Burger King who asks if you want any dipping sauces...nothing. Sure, that's my fault. We did get the complimentary napkins. The 10 minutes turned into 15 minutes with cars going around us. We finished both burgers and my kid finished the hot dog. We were still waiting for the strawberry shake. Finally, I walked back to the walk-up window, and asked if they were still making my shake and the guy apologized and said "we just got our shake machine up and running." Then he gave me a vanilla shake when I had ordered a strawberry. Then waiting longer for the strawberry shake. Sorry Gotcha...it looks like you got plenty of customers, and even great reviews. Congratulations for that. But I won't returning. I get way better service and the food tastes better from not only independent local owners, but even franchisees who remember to offer options.

Great food at a decent price (which is hard to find these days). The onion rings are especially good.

The restaurant responded in a favorable way, it wasn't about the food, it was the way the transaction was handled.

We went to their new public house for dinner on a Wednesday and the place was hopping. Their new…read morebuilding is very cool (and not quite done yet!). The new public house is pretty much behind their original spot, overlooking Coburg Road. We sat in a booth with very tall walls that felt very private but I don't feel like I could tell you the vibe of the rest of the restaurant. Since I was sitting in the back of the booth, I could only see two other tables that were along the windows and the traffic going by in the dark. Next time we'll ask not to sit in a booth so we can see more of the restaurant. Our server informed us that the public house was split into two sections. We were in the full-service restaurant part and there was a more casual (order at the counter?) section by the front door for people that just wanted to grab a beer and sit at a communal table. Our server was excellent. Not the typical Eugene service from him! He answered our questions about the beers and brought us tastes and had all the answers ready about the food. They were out of two things (understandable at such a new spot) but I noticed that they had already changed their menu a few times in the few short weeks they've been opened. Yay for seasonal menus!! Our party went super basic and we all ordered the Butter Burger (the butter is mixed into the patty so it helps the burger caramelize) which came with fries. We also split the grilled potato salad(served chilled), which was a good sized portion to split with our group of five. My kiddo got the wings (sauceless) and fries. We'll be back to try more of the menu items and sit at a table without walls.

First let me say the service staff at Coldfire are warm cheerful and inviting. They are attentive…read moreto the needs of the customers and they were best part of the experience . The beer I tried Minute After Midnight was very good and thoroughly enjoyable. Now for the downside. The food. The Butter Burger resembles a regular McDonald's hamburger, the patty is grossly over seasoned and completely unenjoyable. As shown in the picture the bun was burned on the inside and the outside. It was very unpalatable. The Pretzel was large and warmed through nicely however the overall quality of the pretzel was that of a common bulk discount store. They placed four very small slivers of cheese on it that did very little to improve the flavor and appearance of the pretzel. That being said the mustard dipping sauce was very good. The French fries were spot on and very enjoyable particularly with the garlic aïoli that was served with the unimpressive hamburger. And finally let's get to the Delicata squash , unfortunately I will spend the rest of my life trying to remove the taste of that culinary disaster from my taste buds. The appearance of the dish is a complete disaster the aroma is as repulsive as wondering into a public bathroom shortly after someone spent far too long blowing up the toilet. I made the mistake of tasting it, that left a mark. The texture was the best thing about the dish with as poor as the texture was. The flavor was so putrid that I had to spit it into a napkin. It was a totally unpleasant experience. The ambience was warm and inviting. It would've helped if they had a section where kids could be, so the noise does not bother the customers that went to an adult location like a taproom to enjoy an adult beverage. I do believe this establishment does potential. The servers are amazing and the beer I tried was excellent. They do however need to fire whoever has created the menu and the recipes. The food is truly a crime against humanity. I truly hope they can get the quality of the food under control. I would be willing to give them another try if in fact the menu and food is corrected.
