I have eaten burgers here twice, and never reviewed them. They were good... and Burger House pricing is very reasonable. Today... I wanted to try their breakfast. Got there, ordered a Chicken Fried Steak Platter ($7) and a glass of water. Got a decent sized chicken fried steak, loaded with gravy. It was delicious, and for the price... a good deal! Should have ordered some hash browns to go with it. It did come with a biscuit and some honey packs... biscuit was not fluffy, very dense and a bit dry. But with the honey, it was tasty. Doing the burger trail with a friend and opted to try the BH as I've driven by it often. Service was great and fast, prices are very reasonable and a great variety of menu options, including drinks, shakes, beer and wine. I ordered the basic deluxe which came with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions as well as ketchup and mayo. It was probably quarter pound pre-cooked, like other reviews the bun was smashed.. possibly an assembly issue. The bun is very soft which made the overall sandwich feel wet. Not much flavor other than the condiments but, It was a decent burger. The fries, oh I wanted them to be good but they were so salty that it was almost painful. They were served hot and crispy so maybe just a heavy handed cook. The space was surprising larger than the outside makes it look. I like how it's broken up into a dine-in area and a to-go area. It feels more like lunch spot but it's a burger house and not fine dining so don't have those expectations. I'd try it again if the urge for a burger combo under $11 hits. read more

I've had nothing but a great experience here, after hesitantly trying it. Have had multiple items, breakfast and lunch and have been nothing but happy. Order is always correct. It can take a while because it seems that they cook to order. I'm fine with waiting if that's the case. The CFS breakfast sandwich is The PB bacon cheeseburger is unexpectedly awesome. I like a simp cheeseburger. It's decent for the price. I get my pups plain hamburgers and they don't hesitate to let me know what they think of them. I randomly stopped by here while passing thru Eugene Oregon on my road trip , with hopes of experiencing some decent local food . First they expected me to drive off without giving my debit card back , I had to wave them down thru the drive thru window for my card . Second , the "grilled chicken" sandwich meat was very dry & soft like very low quality microwaved mystery meat . Third , the fries were so old & soggy they tasted like they were reheated from the day before . I was extremely underwhelmed with the whole experience . I would never go back nor would I recommend this place to anyone I know . I don't like leaving negative reviews but the blame is clearly on the workers here for everything . Theoretically it could be classified as a "Cheeseburger", however, to those of us who are familiar with what a cheeseburger is, you can't really call it that. This was a very interesting little spot as it was pretty much I'm on the road traveling in a truck to my far away destination I'm kinda hungry need gas and a bit short on time let's do it all at once. They had a drive-thru that went around the station there was a good amount of cars in it and a ROTD so I figured it couldn't be all bad and it actually was what they say it is the OG Wendy's style burgers. My burger was what it was a smashed flat thing that tasted the way it should like a yummy burger made with good beef and some awesome toppings to make it all good. I just got the standard single as I didn't really feel like one of the other interesting ones they had. It's pretty awesome that a small place out of a gas station like this is throwing out some awesome burgers paired with a craft beer who woulda thought I can go get gas a beer and a burger at the same time I guess just don't drive after? Waited in the drive thru for what honestly must have been 15 minutes. We could hear employees laughing and talking through the window, but we only heard from one of them one time and he was short. Not the best service by a very long shot. The food was SO average. The burger was very unseasoned and the bun was super soggy (see photo). I could make a better burger at home. Fries were soggy as well and over salted. Glad I tried it, but won't ever be coming back. So many other places I would suggest going for a great burger in Eugene! read more

I would rate this restaurant with ZERO starts but I can't. Went through drive through today and I placed an order for chicken strips. Since they sell them by 2 only I told them I want 4 strips meaning 2 orders. The lady on the speaker asked twice what I wanted and I told her politely. She then read back me what I told her and said ok that's 8 chicken strips your total is $19.00 then told me she'll see me at the window. Not only was the order completely wrong but she didn't even give us the chance to order more in which case we wanted too! I told her no we wanted 4 strips only 2 orders. She don't mute herself on the loud speaker and we over heard her tell her co workers what we supposedly ordered. You can hear her co workers saying no they wanted 4 total not 8 orders. She was rude not only to me but them as well. If you work in customer service then you need to handle yourself appropriately and listen to the customer. We may not always be right but if you open your ears and listen we did clearly state what we wanted! I told her never mind I'll just go else where and she said whatever! You can definitely tell she doesn't like her job and the manager/owner needs to train their staff correctly. Husband and I wanted a little something to take the edge off before dinner. He chose 2 of the $1.75 hamburgers and i chose the 2 chicken strips for, I think it was $2.49. We also grabbed an order of onion rings and a chocolate shake to share. The hamburgers were pretty good, according to my husband. I enjoyed the chicken strips with honey mustard. This review is for the one visit I had here last month. I ordered the peanut butter burger, which was very affordable and had a good amount of peanut butter. However, the bun was so flat I debated turning back around to request a replacement. My friend's burger bun was also somewhat flat, but not terrible. Not sure if this was due to the buns being flat before assembly or from being in the paper bag. Overall the burgers tasted decent. Pros: Great prices on their burgers, milkshakes and a wide variety of sides. Cons: Flat burger buns, burgers were just okay, nothing out of the ordinary. I really like this place! They try to do it all here at the Burger House... ALL as in burgers, beers, chili and home cut fries... heck they even have an adjoining coffee shop for lattes and breakfast food like bagel and croissant sandwiches to biscuits and gravy. They have a decent and clean place to sit without the confusion normally seen at a fast food place. I particularly like the $1.75 cheeseburgers because they're as good or better than McD' for flavor and come with more and fresher veg than McDs. For $5 you can get 2 good cheese burgers and a small fry. I really like this place.... and get treated quite well here - as someone who comes here ALOT I feel the employees are happy and smiling. Like anywhere USA, people are people and some days are better than others. You know you have to choose the rating, sorry but 1 Star is too much. So the chicken breast sandwich is a chicken breast that is filleted and covered in a bread coating and deep fried. Chocolate shake is soft serve ice cream with chocolate syrup stirred in. Neither of our shakes were totally mixed, just awful. Ask questions as if I would have know the details of the chicken breast sandwich and "shake" I would have left and went somewhere else. We will not return. read more
