Exploring Eugene and came across this burger place. It's definitely a fast casual place--you can dine in or take it to go. On my visit, there were a lot of takeout/pickup orders than in person diners. No table service, order at the counter and wait--the downside is the wait can be long. Based on my experience, you're better off calling in your order. Of course, we didn't know that at the time. They were quite busy--when we were placing our order they told us it would take about 30-40 minutes. We got our order in about 25 minutes. The menu had interesting names of their burger creations. They ever offer a peanut butter pickle bacon burger. We ordered the Motley Que, Barnyard & Teemah and a basket of fries (fries do not come with your order), however each burger comes with bacon. The burgers weren't dripping with juice (not a messy burger), but it was juicy and not dry. They offer a variety of dipping sauces for you fries--why go for ketchup when you can have Bomb Sauce with your fries! The fries were crispy & not greasy! Having no other burger experience in town, I thought it was an overall tasty burger and reasonably priced--ranging from $8 (basic bacon burger) to $12 (depending on the fixings you want on the burger). I was taken care of and recommended a specific burger based on what I preferred but did not receive LTOP (Lettuce,tomato,onion,pickle) after requesting it. the person at the register was new and therefore learning so I do not blame them or any worker just make sure to advocate and double check that all of your toppings and preferred order is registered because unfortunately I did not get LTOP. Every burger comes with fries and bacon which is great! The fries are really crispy which I love (similar to In and Out's well done fries). I came here to try their peanut butter pickle burger, which oozed peanut butter in every bite. Definitely not the cheap peanut butter but one filled with a lot of peanut oil and was a nice savory touch. They no longer do mixed drinks. The combination of some of the ingredients in the burgers did not seem very appealing to me. I decided to try something new but I'm not very adventurous food wise. I went with the barnyard burger, it's got the patty, bacon, ham, pickle, grilled onion, cheese and an egg. This thing came out and looked like heaven on two buns. First bite and there were juices everywhere. The flavor of the ham and bacon mixed with the freshness of the pickle was great. The fries were thick and delicious and the spicy bbq sauce was a welcomed surprise. They also had an IPA called Killer Buoy that was delicious. I came in here with my husband last night. We sort of stumbled on it while out. It's been on our list of places to try, but simply hadn't made it there yet. We went in around 7 last night. The place was busy, as we had to wait in line. But the line moved faster than I expected, and nobody was rushed through. Service was good. The guy who took our order brought our food, cleared the table, and checked in with us as we ate. For not having official/traditional waiter service, we got as close to it as you can. Prices were great. Fast food burgers aren't much cheaper. But it is cheaper than the average sit-down/full service restaurant. Food was great. I ordered my burger with extra pickles and there were definitely extra pickles on it. Burgers were juicy and quite messy, but delicious too. Because the restaurant is in the heart of downtown, there are several Poke-stops accessible from inside the restaurant. Several people dropped lures onto them, so I managed to evolve some lure-specific Pokémon while enjoying a delicious burger and hanging out with my husband. Win/win all the way around for me! Would I return? Absolutely. It was a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere, while being able to play Pokémon with my husband. I have no complaints whatsoever. GF had friends that touted how good this place was. This past weekend we were both too tired to want to cook at home so we decided to give Killer Burger a try. I ordered the Motley Que and it was a really good burger. We ordered our fries double fried and that is definitely the way to go and get the share size versus the add-on fries to your burger. My gf and her mom both got the Classic (American chez destroys me) and they both enjoyed their burgers. I also enjoy that I can make Arnold Palmers here. Killer Burger does make a good burger - Bo & Vine could learn a ton from Killer Burger, and the staff are all quite nice and helpful. Definitely give this place a try. Parking for the one on Coburg Rd can get quite fun but that in no way detracts from these tasty burgers & fries. I might try a double patty burger next time I am there. read more

The name says it all: Killer Burger - truth in advertising. This place meets my definition of Food Porn. Each burger has bacon on it, which of course you can omit (which I did). I ordered the "Fun Guy," a play on Funghi. It included the mushrooms in what they called a cheese fondue. This burger was deluged with so much cheese, it was truly swimming in it as though it was fondue itself, aptly named. I wasn't prepared for this amount of cheesiness. I could barely find the skinny little meat patty in it. Sorry folks, but YUCK! The bun was supposedly grilled but with all that cheese, it was just plain "Gommy!" The fries were tolerable but not fresh potatoes , probably frozen. The best part was my cold beer and the service. Hence, two stars. Apparently the kitchen was slow because at some point, my nose buried in an interesting article, the server came to my table and apologized for the delay in my food and offered me a free dessert. A not too bad chocolate chip cookie to go. Not homemade, but decent according to my husband who had it for his evening sweet. I appreciated that gesture. A bit disconcerting, though why should I really care, was that the place was packed.
