Great cheese choices. Food is cooked to order, and the truffle fries are stupendous. Food comes out quick even for a made to order. There are several tables available if you wish to dine in. We used to have little big burger in Seattle, and while we were passing through Eugene my partner saw that there was one here. I can see now why they closed the Seattle location. He's been waiting for over 30 minutes for one burger and one plain fry. They didn't let him know ahead of time they were running behind on orders. I love Lil Big Burger and it is my hands down go to for a burger fix. So a friend said he and his GF found a new burger joint and we went there and nothing about that meal was done correctly. I thanked him for the intro knowing I would NEVER go back to that establishment and asked if he'd ever been to Lil Big. He shook his head no trying to choke down some wickedly overly salted fries. We set up a lunch plan for the next day where I would treat him to Lil Big. He beat me to the location by UofO and said he knew he was in for a great meal just by the aroma he experienced as soon as he walked in. I arrived shortly after and order us each 2 burgers (Chevre' is always my choice) and my friend opted for 2 Tillamook Cheddar burgers. Ohhh and the truffle fries blew him away. He hates fry sauce and said that he had to change his perception of fry sauce after Lil Big's condiments. Huge thank you to Lil Big Burger for once again proving me right in a burger battle and for helping me convert a friend to the right burger joint. Yes the burgers are smaller and a bit pricier but the first bite makes it evident as to the quality of the meat used in these burgers. Plus truffle fries (enough said). One of my favorite burger joints in the city, little big burger rarely disappoints. Their truffle fries are the real winner, they are always crispy and fresh and have just the right about of truffle flavor. The fries are a large portion, so easily can be shared among two or three people. I like their beyond burger with cheese and fry sauce. Their fry sauce is great on just about everything and I always have a bottle stocked in my pantry for use at home. There are often fun burger specials that my husband gets to mix it up. Definitely sign up for their rewards apps as it gives you great deals including free burgers sometimes. On our most recent visit today and the visit before it seems like the quality of their buns has changed. I was hoping it was just a fluke last time, but it seems like there might have been an actual change. They are much less soft now and quite a bit dryer. The price for the veggie burger seems off. When I added a piece of cheese and a tip for the hardworking college student employees, my veggie burger came to over $9. It's TINY. (That's without fries, too.) There's almost no choice on the menu--no fries without truffle oil (I personally dislike truffle oil), no condiments other than ketchup on the burgers, no toppings other than iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, the standard. It took a long time to get the food considering that it's fast food, and the music was so loud that it was uncomfortable to stand inside waiting for it. Am I misunderstanding this restaurant?
