My brother lived here for several years, and as we were driving through on a road trip he recommended this place to us. We got a double bacon cheeseburger with chevre and some truffle fries, and it was INCREDIBLE. A very fair price for the quantity and quality of food. The burgers were cooked medium, the buns were soft and buttery, the cheese was plentiful and the truffle fries had just the right amount of truffle flavor, not bitter or overpowering. This was a recommendation from a cashier at Albertson's in Springfield, OR. She said it was her favorite burger place, so we gave it a try. Fantastic service. All team members were super helpful and friendly. The restaurant was clean and taking extra measures between customers. We ordered cheeseburgers and shared an order of truffle fries. I stopped here for lunch after touring U of O's law school for a quick lunch and I was thoroughly impressed. Everything about the restaurant was minimalistic, the decor, the menu, and the food. But hey, I'm a fan of minimalism, so I wasn't complaining. I ordered a regular cheeseburger and the truffle fries and I was a big fan of both. What the burger lacks in size in makes up for in taste. The fries were equally delicious too, they were my favorite part of the meal and I'm not normally a fan of fries. Oh and the dipping sauce that came with them was delicious as well! As a few other reviewers have said, a burger with fries and a drink here is honestly the perfect sized meal. Do not eat here - Portions are tiny and overpriced. The "burger" was literally smaller than the palm of my hand, and it cost $8+ - I am a very small 5'2" lady and this "burger" looked abysmally small in my hand. An absolute joke. The tiny amount of food we did get was BURNED. The fries were cracking like concrete as I chewed them from how burnt they were. I wanted to return my food and ask for a refund, but it was my boyfriend's treat so I did not want to be rude. We were early fans of LBB, especially the Truffle Fries. After today, not so much. Their app may be better, but online ordering via the web is awkward and counterintuitive. To go on from the first item you add to your cart, you have to click a large X that looks like it could be canceling the whole order. We asked for two orders of the Truffle Fries, one with two catsups and one with two containers of "fry sauce." Got plain fries without any truffle oil, and one fry sauce, no catsup at all. The final insult: the ETA was about 10 minutes after we ordered, but after submitting it jumped up to close to 20, and the order didn't come out until after that. The price for the veggie burger seems off. When I added a piece of cheese and a tip for the hardworking college student employees, my veggie burger came to over $9. It's TINY. (That's without fries, too.) There's almost no choice on the menu--no fries without truffle oil (I personally dislike truffle oil), no condiments other than ketchup on the burgers, no toppings other than iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, the standard. It took a long time to get the food considering that it's fast food, and the music was so loud that it was uncomfortable to stand inside waiting for it. Am I misunderstanding this restaurant? Went in and got a cheeseburger it was great! But I also got a beyond burger and it was pretty gross, the bun was freezing, I also got an order of fries and they were pretty good. However, the music was so intensely loud, it was so loud that the worker would turn it down so he could talk to people ordering, it felt like I had to yell to talk to the people I was with, not fun. I had wanted to try this for a while, as I had read rave reviews about it, and I'm always looking for something different. Sadly, I was disappointed. I came in last night with my husband, before the Duck basketball game at Matthew Knight Arena. The line was out the door. My husband suggested Subway, but that's boring and I could taste it just thinking about it. I was determined to go somewhere different. We get in line, and wait, and wait, and wait some more. Thank god we had a solid hour before the game started. For having a whopping four items on their menu, they are incredibly slow. We finally make it inside and order. The person at the counter was helpful and sweet. She gets three stars for her service. It was loud, so a little hard to hear her. I let my husband order for me, since he's louder than I am. After ordering, we wait some more, and wait even more. This was a very long and tedious wait for a burger and fries. The restaurant is insanely tiny to accommodate the number of people in there. If you're going to eat here, I recommend getting your order to go and finding somewhere else to eat it. There was literally nowhere to sit, and if you're unwilling to bug other customers for their table and help push them out the door a little faster by asking for their table when they are done, you'll never sit down. Since we didn't elect to be those asshole customers, we didn't get a seat. We were forced outside. I got to eat a 3 star burger at best, outside in the freezing cold. Happy day. Our food was alright. Nothing special, but it was decent. Better than McDonald's, but not by a ton. The fries were a big portion, but incredibly salty. I ended up giving my husband the majority of my fries, and even after that, he was still hungry. Even he said they were quite salty. I felt bloated by the time I was done, but still hungry myself, and I don't eat a whole lot in one sitting the way my husband does. Would I return? Ehh, maybe. I can't really think of a reason to bring me back. The food was alright, but the tiny restaurant with almost no seating and being forced to eat outside was kind of a deal breaker for me. I completely understand this is a campus joint. Loud music, a bunch of kids working. What I didn't expect was how disgusting this place was - it was filthy. The tables, the chairs, the floor, the windows and the walls. I wasn't aware our food would be packaged to go, so that ended up working out well because the thought of eating a meal at those disgusting dirty, sticky tables was an absolute no go. I ordered a cheese burger, got a burger without cheese. Son ordered his sans pickles, it came with pickles. Service wasn't friendly, like we were another number in a line (wasn't busy).
