PERFECT! Although I frequent the Creswell location, I stopped in here on my lunch break at work. The girl working behind the counter was quick and attentive she greeted me immediately upon walking in the door and was friendly! Toxic in S. Eugene has been killing it recently. My go-to Toxic cheeseburger on a GF bun has been consistently good. Recently I saw a couple new items, including a black-bean burger. I decided to try that out and it absolutely hit the spot. It was hearty, nicely constructed and well-dressed. I definitely appreciated the pickles. Great flavors overall. I also got a side of cole slaw ($3) which was also very enjoyable. And I am still amazed how good the gluten-free bun is, even holding up well for leftovers. Also the fries have been much better seasoned on recent trips, which is one thing I found lacking before, so it's nice to see that improvement. I'll keep coming back for more! read more

I love, love, love Toxic! This was my first time visiting this location, and it is a bit different, but still equally amazing. I'm not even going to lie, I was fully expecting to hate this location. Because they don't have the traditional boneless wings, or my two favorite sauces. My husband and I decided on burgers and fries, and their version of boneless wings, which are basically chicken nuggets. I have my go-to sauces at the River Road location, which is raspberry habanero and apricot chipotle. Since they didn't have those, what do I go for? I picked the pineapple jerk sauce, not sure what to expect. But the employee taking our order explained it to me, and recommended it highly. He also said if I absolutely hated it, he'd let me pick a difference sauce. So I was willing to give it a try. I ordered my burger with extra pickles, and it came with extra pickles! I love it when someone tells me they made what I requested just the way they like it. That usually means it'll be perfect, and this definitely happened here. My burger was a beautiful medium, not over cooked, tons of pickles, and was absolutely delicious. I ended up loving the pineapple jerk sauce too. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and comfortable with two huge TVs. The thing that'll bring me back to this location was not just the food, but the customer service. Excellent quality food, and not much more cost than McD's; plus Toxic, in spite of its name, won't make you sick! For real, this place makes some delicious food. My daughter likes the 'Intoxicator', which is slightly more expensive, but will definitely fill you up! She's a tiny woman with a Big appetite, so if she's full, you know it's substantial. The Mushroom-Swiss burger was amazing, and the 2 piece Halibut and Chips/Fries was perfect, as was the homemade tartar sauce that went with it. I love halibut, and this was perfect: good cut, fresh and firm. The ambiance in the Southtown location is very sports (Ducks) oriented, and this would be a great place to gather for Game Day: Eat, Drink, and Go Ducks! Great food and stuff but the math don't math Wings across many different menus go for about $1.50 per wing, generally descending in price by quantity provided. This, historically, leads people to purchase more wings due to the lower price per amount purchased. However, when looking at the Toxic Burger menu, it's clear that the price of wings varies per quantity in quite a surprisingly unreasonable manner. For 100 wings, it costs $174.50. This means that per wing for that quantity, it's about $1.75 per wing. If you were to order 48 wings at $89.50, each wing would be $1.86. For 24 at $44.80, each wing is $1.87, and the same price per wing if you do the calculations for 18 at $33.60. A one cent decrease for not only twice the amount, but almost 3 times the amount of wings?? Who set this system up? I'll still be ordering but. It would be coo if it was cheaper per wing. This place is very welcoming to people and the workers are always so nice/friendly to customers. The burgers are very good and I recommend the double Toxic Burger. One thing people don't like is the portion on their fries. The fries are a little pricey and when you get them it's not very much. I have been to both the River Road location and the West 11th location and can say with certainty that this location tops the two of them combined. The service is always quick, the food is always hot, and the staff are always warm and welcoming. I had the chance to get to talk to Kevin who seems to really enjoy working at toxic and managing this location. He respects his employees and makes a mean burger and wings. The staff overall have been extremely nice and are always willing to go that extra step every time I have gone in. It may have burger in the name but their wings are mind boggling. Ordered the 24 piece wing with lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, sweet BBQ and black mamba for a friend and I. Each flavor brought its own unique pop and were easily the best wings I've had in their flavor category. Just visited Toxic Burger for the first time after seeing the new location popping up and wanting to try it. I went in with my boyfriend and was really excited to try it because the food looked super good! But I was extremely disappointed not only with the minuscule food portions, but also with the service. I, myself, have worked at multiple restaurants as a line cook and a server and have never acted so uncaring towards the customers, I always offered something free or some sort of an apology. My boyfriend's burger was so tiny that we even went to McDonalds after (they were 10x faster and the portions are larger for less $$). I would've felt less dissatisfied if the employees had acknowledged our wait time or offered any type of compensation. Sad to find out this wasn't what we expected. read more

I have never been so dissatisfied with a food chain that I looked at my meal with disdain and absolute rage. The patty only weighed 1/10th of a pound. Like seriously? For $6.00??? A double quarter pounder at McDonald's is only $6!!!! And for those of you bad at math .10lbs for Toxic Burger and .50lbs for McDonald's. Now isn't that crazy? I wish I could say the quality of the burger made up for size but it absolutely did not.
