Pepperjack cheese burger and Irish chips
    Elena D.

Coming here on a Friday just after the lunch rush was perfect. We were one of a few diners so found a seat easily. There was one person running the front and one running the kitchen. The woman that helped us was genuinely friendly and helpful. We had questions about the shakes, burgers, sides and the 5 pound burger challenge (not that we were going to try it!) and she answered them without making us feel like she's had to answer them a million times. It was refreshing to speak to someone that seemed to enjoy their job and the business they were in. We ordered burgers, mine was the 1/4 pound with pepperjack and I decided to go with the Irish chips. If you like a salty/meaty flavor much like aus jus, you will like these as much as I did. Without the aus jus mess! The burger was good, a basic classic. We also tried the Oregon berry shake. Yum! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the options and I kind of loved that this was the first page of their menu. We noticed that a group of younger kids that came in after us were sticker shocked on the price of the shakes, but keep in mind these are 32 ounces! And totally worth it. We will definitely return to try more flavors of everything. BTW the 5 pound burger challenge is on hold for a variety of reasons and I get it, the thing takes up their whole grill!

We love supporting local restaurants whether we can and this is our go to burger spot in Springfield! Inventive burgers cooked with homemade love. Tonight the sides were inconsistent but the burgers were thick, moist and toppings were perfect! No stupid smash burger here...We like them think and juicy! Burger paradise! Be prepared for a wait as they are handmade, but worth it!

    1/4 burger with cheddar cheese

Just what I want when I say I'm craving a burger. I split a delicious cherry shake and got their 1/4 lb burger with smoked cheddar and crinkle fries. We've passed by here hundreds of times but we only crave burgers on occasions, so it was just right timing today. Booth seating and beers on tap. It's a small team staying busy but everything came out quickly and was fresh.

Food is decent but it is slow as hell to get food made. Not sure what the hangup is-maybe need a new griddle or fryer that can keep up.

Everything was absolutely delicious and they brought it to us, in a short time. Definitely recommend every thing we ordered. The 2 meat platter, and platters I mean a small baking sheet !!!!!! The Cajun Bbq Burger with tots, Bacon Burger Fries (tons of) with side of Mac and Cheese (omg), Pulled Pork with Cheese Soup and Baked Potato, and my choice was the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and Cajun Tots . Omg our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs. My Philly had to be cut in half and even that still so filling. Everything was absolutely delicious, %. When in Eugene, stop by Springfield, Oregon because it's just across the freeway.

It was in the upstairs portion of the establishment - an open area with a number of food options (and a pretty cool candy shop). Our order was taken by the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. We built our own Cheeseburger & Chicken Sandwich & Cheesesteak menu item. My chicken sandwich was pretty tasty with the "aioli" sauce but wish it had more pickles (think I got 2). The cheesesteak was good in which the bread was soft but not soggy and great flavoring (although it was ordered without onions (my daughter's failure)). The steak fries were good. I wanted onion rings but was told that it's a "sweet" onion which is not my preference for onion rings. The drinks had great presentation - the seasonal Italian soda (spiced pear & cantaloupe) was a unique combination but was a very good call. I would highly recommend giving this place a shot as it was priced well and customer service was top notch

The fish and chips was sad, the pieces they gave were tiny very dense and breaded almost like a chicken strip and they looked like half of a tilapia fillet, definitely not what I expected from the GIANT picture on their reader board. Dairy Queen's chicken fingers are bigger than these pieces of fish. The tartar sauce is prepackaced and super processed and very chemical tasting. The saddest part is what they call their coleslaw, I get it, its a burger joint but dang the coleslaw is literally cabbage and no sauce, no flavor, there seems to be very little QC or manager checking food and taste on some stuff here at this location. The service at the window is always friendly and prompt once you get up there but the wait is usually pretty bad. I know you guys are local and I know you guys can do better. Whoever is managing this location you need to step up the QC on things like the slaw, make your own tartar sauce, and just step it up. I expect so much more from a local place like this, but as it is your just a bit below what I'd expect from a Burger King or McDonalds.

We stopped by this afternoon because I wanted a burger. Multiple employees greeted us when we walked in and chatted with us as we looked at the menu. Others stopped by to check on us as we ate and bus the table for us. Which I find to be kind of impressive for what is basically fast food. Local, but still fast food. The owner happened to be there as well and took the time to visit with us about the restaurant. I ordered the toxic burger with extra pickles, which is my standard go-to choice at every Toxic location. Plus the chicken dippers with raspberry habanero and pineapple jerk sauces. My husband ordered the Cali burger. Food was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect. I love making my own homemade barbecue sauces all the time, so when I find restaurant ones I really like and crave, I develop a small obsession. Which is absolutely the case with their raspberry habanero sauce. I was beyond excited that they have it at this location, as not all of them do. Apparently they are working on getting all of the same sauces at every location, which I think is awesome. Restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and comfortable. It's an old Jack in the Box building, so they've utilized the drive-thru as well as indoor dining. Would I return? Absolutely. A million times over. I've been to each and every Toxic location, and this one is hands down one of my favorites. This is such an amazing, small, local business to get behind and support. I've never actually had a bad or even mediocre experience at any Toxic location, and that is something that speaks volumes to me. Review 28 of 2025
