The food is ok... the service is awful. I've been there a few times and they always mess up the order then act like it wasn't there fault. It takes way too long to get your food considering it's "fast food". There was only one person in front of me and it took me about ten mins to get my food. My first experience was there today on May 10th/2019 and It was Absolutely Terrible. They got my order wrong a few times. I ordered first through the drive thru a "Cheeseburger with mustard and pickle only" then after getting our food I pulled to the side and realized our burger was made wrong and they put everything on it. So this time i decided to go inside and tell them the situation and they remade it, I then decide to double check before walking out and leaving the place and look and it was made wrong again just as it was before "it was made with everything on there". so I told them and it was remade and then it was finally made right. I mean for fast food at a gas station it wasn't bad, but for us it was a bit bland and the fries were a little soft...maybe because they're home made? Since September, I have been stopping here for drive through iced coffee. If I come in the morning, there is no prob, but they tell me there is no iced coffee except cold brew ($3.25), in the afternoons...ok... 9:30 this morning so am charged $3.25 for a "small iced coffee"...what the?!? For starters, they have a lot going for them packed in a small structure they have a nice little dining area a television, fireplace, and beer on tap or if you like they have a selection of wine, also if you feel adventurous they have some fun gambling machines in the back. The food I think is above par compared to other fast food they have a great selection and even some unique menu options. I love their burgers! We have not been disappointed yet, their fries have always had the right amount of salt and they have one of the best milkshakes around, great for the whole family they have a dollar plus menu and for what you get and the size of the burgers their cost is not overly expensive. A very basic overpriced Burger, and the staff was very rude, I will not be going back

Most mornings I stop by and get a biscuit and gravy with a fried egg. When I stopped this morning I was told that it wasn't allowed. I explained that I always get that in the morning. The woman (I was told was the owner) was very short with me and told me that it's not what they shouldn't be doing that and that she wouldn't sell it to me. It seems like it wouldn't be a problem considering that that sell a burger with a fried egg on top of it. How could it possibly be that big of a deal to put the egg on the biscuit instead of a burger?? Needless to say, I won't be stopping by ever again. Definitely a loss for the business considering that I work nearby and normally send my customers there. Going forward I'll be sending them elsewhere. read more

Was at the drive through window, only one car in front of me. When I pulled up to the window, the girl took my money, and then I didn't see her again for 20 minutes. I could see several people in there working, but no one was paying any attention. When the girl who took my money finally came back to the window, she said 'we kind of forgot about you' and threw my food out the window. No apologies whatsoever. Finally decided to try the Burger house, it's been years since this was a Wendys. We were last here literally when the Wendys location was trying to sell the rest of it's food stock and they were out of everything. But I digress, this is about the Burger House. I was pleasantly surprised by their menu, they had more than just the usual burger, double burger, cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. I tried the Jalapeno Bacon Cheddar burger and it had a lot of jalapenos, though they weren't really spicy. The burger was good, a bit messy but had decent flavor. We also tried their fries and onion rings. Fries were good, nothing amazing. Reminded me a bit of Wendys fries I guess, but thicker. The onion rings had good breading but the onion inside was real mushy. We had two burgers, the rings and the fries and it came to $20. So while they are a step up from usual fast food, you have to pay for it. The girl in the driveup window did not seem to be in a particularly good mood when she was helping us. She wasn't rude but she didn't seem very happy in general. Anyway, I would try this again. read more

The food is okay, it is basically an over rated Wendy's! Now don't get me wrong, I miss a good bacon jr. Burger now and then, but I give the place a 2 star rating based on the service! Some of the employee's seem confused, some are polite, some plain get your order wrong which is most of the time I have been in the drive thru, which is a complete inconvenience considering I come from River Rd. just to get the food here! 4 stars seems high for fast food but... They have grass fed beef. I don't feel as bad when I have an after work burger craving and I get it here. I accidentally got bacon on my Burger (it was to go or I would have paid for it...maybe not. No, I wouldn't have)...so free bacon and it was good! It was crispy and pretty thick... I mean In comparison With other fast food bacon. Kid's chicken strip meal is cheap and you can upgrade your drink to a little shake for 50 cents. Great deal. The shakes are your standard flavors of vanilla strawberry chocolate And the shake of the month. My friend always gets one... Says they are real good. They used to not have free refills, but now they do... So I used to hate them, but now I love them. Never fails there is always some good people watching too. Besides the fact that this is a gas station, the burger is quite good. I stumbled on this joint one night when it was the only thing open in the area and I was starving. Imagine my surprise at how good the burger really was! I've since visited a number of times. The star here is clearly the burger - complete with ketchup, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion. (No pickle for me!) The burger and the burger alone are whats keeping this review at 4-stars...but barely. The fries are good when they are fresh, but I have gotten an order or two where they've been a bit past their prime and have become wilted. Staff are semi-friendly. The prices keep going up, though! I finally gave this place a go. After having been to the on-site coffee shop a few times and passing it by en route to the Home Depot many more of those times. I'm glad I finally caved. This place was actually quite comfy and "nice" inside. I guess I always felt less than excited about the combo gas/coffee/burger thing they've got going here. But it was a good experience... too to bottom. The good: -my bacon cheeseburger -my fries -the staff (four thumbs up) -the comfy chairs next to the completely useless "fireplace" -the cleanliness of it all. -the lack of actual, legitimate "bad" things to list -the prices = very reasonable -the staff (worth a double mention) The bad: -soft serve milkshakes!? (I loved it. So it's not really "bad". But a true milkshake would've rocked my face) I feel like this place is a solid contender for a fairly quick, fairly delicious, and fairly priced hamburger. I'd put my burger somewhere between NW Burger and Carl's Jr. Which certainly places it above the likes of many other places around here. Especially given the prices. My burger was their "biggest", and it did a pretty good job of holding me over. The fries were pretty decent, too. Nice and crispy. None of that wispy thin McDonalds nonsense. What a great find. Their onion rings are so good and the burger was huge and tasty. Better than DQ. It was a little cold but that was because traffic was slow getting back home. Fries were a bit salty but super tasty. Kids hot dogs were huge!. They could not finish them. I seriously love the onion rings. This establishment has some of the burgers in town. I recommend going in and not the drive thru. Every single time we use the drive thru, they screw up the order. So I've been going to this Burger House for several months now because well it's close to my house every time I go there I get a fry sauce and ranch dressing I've never been charged in fact it's only been mentioned once that they charge for sauce I know at least 20 other people that go there and don't get charged for sauce so at first I'm told it'll be an additional $0.50 for the two sauces well I've never paid that I'm not paying that and then they say they're going to give me one for free but it'll still be $0.50 for the sauce and I said well I'm not paying that mind you I'm buying a $2.50 Burger and they want me to pay a dollar for two extra sauces okay fine I'll pay the quarter per sauce not $0.50 here's my problem the manager working in the photo was yelling at me being rude accusing me of yelling at him and I told him look sir I haven't even begun to yell I could but I'm not going to and then you give me back my money and she's going your way I say I would like the phone number for the manager or the owner and he spits it out real quick I have no pen and paper to write it down so I asked him again and he starts chewing my ass and saying look already given it to you one time at not my fault you can't write it down or whatever now I'm closing this window and basically just being totally and completely unprofessional yeah maybe they were trying to quit and get out of there I don't know it was late at night but there is no reason whatsoever to treat customers in that manner if you wish for them to continue to return I will be finding Yelp and posting this there to I know coffee bar and crappy Burger House well you still need your customers no matter how cheap your food is read more

Have always loved grabbing a quick bite to eat here but I I'm super disappointed in my recent experience. Waited in the drivethu line for over 15 minutes, there was only one car in front of us and their order was very small as well. Specifically asked for no egg on my breakfast sandwich only to find out after we had already driven off that they gave me a sandwich with ONLY egg on it. After waiting too long in the line again to get a replacement. I opened up my new sandwich to find a cold piece of sausage and a cold slimy piece of cheese that looked like it had scrapped off mayo on it. Never getting breakfast there again. read more

You definitely don't get what you pay for IMPO. Fries were OK at best and despite having to pull in front of the restaurant for over TEN MINUTES... when they were not busy in any way... The fish sandwich was regretful. It had a funny taste. Could have been do to the bun being burnt too I guess. Suffice to say it's too bad because I live right by and eat out a lot.
