This is either my favorite, or tying with Wayback burgers spot for burgers in Eugene (I don't like gourmet burgers). Mostly because you get a lot of options, and they deliver through hungry ducks. The burger itself is really juicy and messy, which I love! The mozzarella sticks are also really good, and never disappoint. The milkshakes aren't the best but I can't say they are bad, because no milkshake is bad. Their fries are usually not crispy, and I dislike fries without a crunch. Their onion rings are bomb, sometimes not very crispy but still really good. The chicken sandwich is yummy, I always add avocado to it myself when I order it. the chicken strips are very small and not that good, but their cheap so you get what you pay for I guess. Do not order the "gourmet/specialty" burgers. A Big Mac has more flavor and content than their $6.00 bacon cheddar burger. The staff doesn't set the pricing was the response I got when I expressed my unhappiness of paying $6.00 for a burger I could get at any fast food joint for 99 cents. Well this was a long time coming and I'm only writing this in hopes that ownership or management sees this. The burgers are great and the service is still friendly. My issue is with receiving correct orders. If I had to guess I would say that 1 out of 3 of my orders are incorrect when I get them. I would understand if I was asking for crazy substitutions. All I ever ask for is an extra hamburger patty on my burger. So instead of counting to 1 when placing burgers in the bun the person making it now has to count to 2. It's not hard and there is no complex math. When I say double that means 2. It happens way too much. Tighten the screws a little guys. read more

The Burger House! Food! So delicious! When ordering in the drive thru, the food is nice and hot (not in the most timely manner) and always able to satisfy what I'm craving! Service! The service I had on the particular night was absolutely annoying. My drive thru attendant, Cheyenne...needless to say was very careless. Handed us our drink with the top not on, causing it to spill down my coat. Now that is fine, I understand accidents happen, but I found MYSELF apologizing because there was NO remorse on her end and made me feel as though it was MY fault. Not to mention that we were missing an item...which annoyed me that she could loudly gab to her co-worker about nonsense but not get my order right (which mind you, was beyond simple.) So this just notified me that I will absolutely be double checking my order from now on. My BF swears by this place so I stopped off last night and had me a burger. The staff were nice. She offered to help me navigate the menu. The burger was light with nice fresh toppings. Anymore you can't get good lettuce and tomato on a burger... they are always mashed in there or old and gross. Not here! The bun was great, and meat tasted home grown. Definitely a decent choice for fast food. Our family is picky and have to be cautious when eating out. Taste like A&W or Wendy's ... When I was a kid, not whatever it is they serve now. We tried this place because Toxic was closed and the burger house also has local grass fed beef. If we are in the area we would eat here again. Fries are good. Love that they put lettuce, pickle, tomato, and onion. This place does use processed cheese.... A big bummer! Though, I must be honest and say I would rather have a burger from Toxic Wings and Fries on River Road but this would be next in line. Room for improvement but good. read more

This place is an absolute joke. No one appears to know what's going on when you go through the drive through. Decided to try this place out for the first time, ordered a $7 double bacon cheese burger. Got all the way home in Thurston to find a $1.25 burger no better than McDonald's in the bag. How is this job that difficult? Check the pick ticket, place the order in the bag. Maybe mark the burgers with a sticker system ala Five Guys so you know what belongs in the bag. This is case in point why we should not have a $15 minimum wage. read more

I love your food but... my last 5 visits have sucked. Your customer service is getting so bad. I normally let stuff roll off my back but, I'm tired of the crappy service. People used to be so upbeat and friendly here. I'm a pretty laid back person and, i know everybody has bad days. I work with some flat out rude customers in my job but, i still smile, I'm polite because it's my job. The girl who helped me tonight had the personality of a broomstick wearing a wig. She got an attitude when I asked to modify my burger and rolled her eyes. Then said something under her breath as she turned and walked away. When I got my food, the burger had been pushed down like someone leaned on it amd the fries were a mix of old cold fries and somewhat fresh fries. Half the time someone will bring your food out to the table and half the time they just set it on the counter like they did today and you're left waiting for food that's getting cold. Lately, the employees seem angry and bitter. Is their boss treating them badly or are they just desperate for people and hire anyone? I want the burger house to be successful but, anymore, it's not gonna be at my expense much longer. First impression, complete failure. I asked the staff if the halibut was wild caught or farmed. I expected farmed and that would have been fine but instead of getting "yes, it's farmed" I got a sassy mouth and "our halibut is halibut, that's all." When you pay for a medium-sized, greasy, soggy burger combo meal, it's not just the whopping price you're paying, you're gambling with your stomach as well! After a lunch at this half fast-food, half mom and pop stop, my man and I found ourselves spending the rest of the evening in the bathroom. I'm not the sensitive stomach type and my boyfriend has been blessed with an iron stomach, but the intense stomach cramps and all the fun that follows is a pretty clear sign for us that there was something not right with our 20 dollar meal. Their portions do not fit the price. Tiny burgers, their fish and chips is a joke. Youd be better off just buying gordons fish sticks at safeway. Their servers are short, borderline curt with their attitude. They never bother to ask if I wanted condiments (I did, and forgot to ask, but...either did they. Even McDonald's asks). On a happy note, the food hasn't made me sick. But I won't come back. The cost of food vs. What you get is not a good value, or even fair. Do not come here. I gave this place 2 tries. I'm done now. I live close by so I probably get to this place once a week or more. Every time the service, food, and atmosphere have exceeded expectations. The grilled chicken sandwich is delicious and the fries are always cooked to my liking. My only issue with the place is the Reese's milkshake isn't always on the menu! read more

I had a $2.19 bacon cheeseburger that was better than very basic fast food - the "bacon" was crispy, the lettuce and tomato were fresh - but is was still basically a fast food burger. Don't expect a hidden gem, expect a 15% upgrade on Wendy's. read more

I was a little hesitant because of the reviews, but I had to give it a shot and I'm EXTREMELY happy I did. I love a good burger, and even better I love a delicious burger that I can get through a drive thru. Nothing beats In-N-Out, but of course that's not available here. My second choice is Burgerville, but the closest is in Albany. Finally the last choice for a good drive thru burger is Dairy Queen. This is hands down better then the last 2 places listed! Fresh bun, the meat tasted good (not cardboard! wtf?) great toppings, and it was nice and saucy. I did add bacon and it was crispy and not fake like Dairy Queen (which has a terrible liquid smoke flavor!) I got an order of onion rings and the batter they used was delicious! I didn't try the fries, but will get that next time. I will be back!! read more

Out of desperation for some food, I hit up the drive through today and I was happily surprised to find that my cheap (under $2) cheeseburger was fresh, hot and tasty. I, like many of you, grew up eating fast food before realizing it was horrible for me in my 20's. I very rarely will eat at any of the mega fast food chains anymore due to poor quality and the countless terrible things that they do to process it all. This is why I decided to come here. YUM. Best burgers in Eugene. Great for gluten free, too - their GF buns are soft and delicious. Love their fun toppings - peanut butter bacon sounds bizarre, but it's actually pretty great. About 6 months ago I ate here, it gave me such bad food poisoning I ended up having to get sent home from work. Today Saturday March ,16th, 2019 I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. My order was placed last in line however I was served first, odd right? I paid 14$ for mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and a burger. The burger, oh the burger was so dry I couldn't even pass it down. There are several types and I chose the Cobb The ingredients were fresh and high quality. It looked appetizing and was delicious. So when I first started going here I loved it! The food is okay and you get a good amount and it's price is okay (I got 2 cheeseburgers and small fries for 4 dollars!) the fact that they don't open their lobby doors until sometime AFTER 11:45 is outrageous! Sure they have a drive thru and I have a car but I never drive there I work across the street! So since they are closed on my new lunch hour I ether bring my lunch or go to Taco Time. And to make everything WORSE and the straw that broke the camels back so to speak was when they started making the coffee inside. I liked the girl at the drive up window and the fact that you didn't have to wait in line with people ordering food was great. BUT the other day I drove up and was told they don't make coffee after 3pm!! I was astonished and rather disappointed I LOVE their coffee but no more, 'cause I get off at 3:30!!
