Delicious burgers! I'll be back. Burgers were perfect size and the burger sauce is tasty.

Ive been there a couple of times now and while it does kinda give off shades of in & out, its just to sweet for my liking the Brioche bun, coupled with a sweet burger sauce and a smash burger that i can only assume is steamed over sweet onions is just sweet on sweet, on sweet. Here's the thing with Gotcha burger. Their food is good, their prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. We went for the first time last night and enjoyed most of our food. They got my burger wrong, ran out of fries, and could only offer us one order of rings due to a long line and low stock. I ate my burger anyways even though I asked for no sauce -- but I was hungry and it wasn't bad. I would have liked it the way I ordered it but it was definitely edible. The bun to burger patty ratio isn't great so I think I'd order two patties to balance it out. My husband loved the double cheeseburger and the onion rings were awesome. The wait wasn't terrible for a food truck. I want to rate them higher and to be honest if I could do half stars they'd been a solid 3.5. In fact I think if they can keep more food in stock and get accurate with orders they could be a five star place, but they are understaffed and the demand is obviously greater then they can supply. We'll try again when they are more established. read more

Burger was actually quite tasty, which I wasn't expecting. The wait was definitely at least 20 minutes, and the system for having cars pull forward could be more organized. With a little fine tuning I think this could be a great spot! read more

Finally got a chance to try them fries were ok but the burger patties had so much seasoning I couldn't eat it, and I like salt. The chicken sandwich was just ok mostly bread very little chicken. read more

Even though they're usually slammed and it takes at least 20-30 minutes to order and get your food, I'm giving them 5 stars because the burgers and shakes are amazing!! not super impressed with the sides and haven't tried the chicken options yet but I'll get coming back for the Duece-Duece, it's so good. read more

Amazing fresh food, the burgers have a special sauce that is SO good, and the toppings are all freshly chopped. Shakes could be a tad larger but they taste amazing. If it's a busy day, be prepared to wait a little bit but it's worth it! read more

Damn fine food! My family & I absolutely love these burgers. Most food trucks operate like restaurants, not like fast food places, in that your meal is made fresh when you put in your order. I can't comment on the food, I didn't get any. I pulled into the drive thru and there was one car in front of me, no big deal. I figured he would order and pull over and wait for his food. NOPE, the car sits at the window until their food is made. They even turned their engine off...this person was PARKED. I sat there 10 min waiting to order, but still no sign of movement. I guess, they take an order, cook it, serve it and then the next car can pull up? So I decided to go to the window, no big deal but you can't pull around a car in the drive thru, you are kind of stuck there. With a bit of difficulty I backed out of the drive thru, drove around to the pkg lot and parked only to find the window closed and the open sign not lit. There was another person standing there waiting too. A couple minutes later the car parked at the drive thru window got their food and left. I thought maybe someone would take our order but then another car pulled into the drive thru and placed their order, so I just left. I have been wanting to try this place a long time, they always look busy. Now I know...they aren't that busy, they are just that backed up. I didn't expect fast food speed, but you have to be able to serve more than one person at a time, that's crazy. I figured I would get fed faster at home, so I stopped and bought raw hamburger instead. read more

Food was mid af. Customer service sucked. Ordered and then 3 people ordered after, they all got their food before me. Waited 20 minutes for the employee to sarcastically tell me like a child which burger was mine because he brought out two at the same time (same exact order). Dude was wearing gloves, but that doesn't matter at all when he used the same gloves to take my order ON A PHONE and then cook with them. You can get a better burger at McDonald's. We live across the street and my husband wanted to give them a try again so I reluctantly went. There wasn't that overwhelming burnt taste on this burger BUT I woke up this morning with my stomach in knots and projectile vomited. The service was alright, no blasting music and them having to scream over it. So that was good. I get it's a young hip spot in the city, its just not the kind if vibe I like. Younger people seem to appreciate that whole vibe more and that's okay. Not my thing. My husband says he tastes jalapeño somewhere in the burger, something spicy and it's off-putting. I've seem someone else mention "gotcha sauce", so maybe that's it. The buns were toasted nicely this time, I'll give you that, that's not going to raise my review as they should be that way in the first place, not burning things is rather basic etiquette for the restaurant industry, and the burgers weren't super thin like the other times even though I really didn't mind that. I for sure will not be back. If he wants to eat it, I'll just get him something but I'm done. He said the onion rings were great, I did not think so but to each their own. Projectile vomiting however is not great. I'm happy the owners have a business, it's quite an accomplishment, and it appears to be black owned and that is great as well. These are just my experiences and opinions. The owners don't seem to take criticism that well and that's really something they're going to have to work on unless they are okay with being another flash in the pan food cart that eventually fails. I've been to this place a number of times Everytime I have gave them the highest tip offered. Everytime I have asked for special requests such as no onions on this, fry sauce ketchup things like that they have Everytime never gave me my order as requested but whatever, I had just ordered a chili cheese dog with no onions however I received a hotdog with onions and not even any cheese on it but most importantly with one tablespoon of chili sauce on it no beans no nothing just one tablespoon of chili gravy and in that 1 tablespoon of gravy there was a short black curly hair in it so that is relatively gross, often times you order something they say we don't have that right now so I think they need to figure stuff out regardless though I won't be back, tipping is not a requirement especially in a drive thru, I tip because I'm nice and I appreciate there service but taking a order isn't hard especially when it's only a few words and they have never got a order right, but this last time was disrespectful why put a spoonful of chili gravy if you don't have the chili just say you don't and where was the cheese? went there to pick up a doordash order and was told a 10-15 minute wait. after about 15 minutes was told it was almost ready. next time I went up was told another 20 minutes. after about an hour came up and the workers said "yeah we cancelled that order a long time ago" and were very rude about it. frustrating for me as the driver as well as the customer who never got their food. neither of us were told it was cancelled after over an hour wait and the workers didnt seem to care at all and ignored me when I tried to ask them about it. read more
